I've always been very happy with the care here. I've been bringing my pets here for about 12 years. Dr. Heitmann is a great vet and always takes all the time necessary to explain the issues and options. It can be rather expensive, so getting estimates is a good idea. Staff is great. No problem there. However had signed up for wellness plan $60 a month. They charged my card 7 time in 1 day then done nothing to fix it. Then when late on a payment due to card being over the limit complained and tried to charge $60 everyday for a month and a half then threatened me with collections. I take my dog to the groomers--Mike and Mary Jo. Mary Jo was a vet tech at another vet where I met her 32 years ago. She is excellent with dogs. Appt. day I whisper softy into my sleeping dog's ear Mike and Mary Jo and it's like she is shot out of a cannon! The staff were all very friendly and understanding. They explained our options, were able to discuss procedure costs, etc with us. Obviously having a sick or injured animal is an unpleasant experience overall, but the staff were efficient and friendly and it went much more smoothly than it could have. Read Less

I love this place! The vets are so knowledgeable and caring, making sure I know exactly what is happening with my dog! Major plus that I was able to schedule my appt online. I work overnights, so calling isn't always an option for me. I was also able to set it up for 730am, which is perfect for when I get off work. Even though she had to get some shots, the entire team did a great job of caring for her and making her feel at ease. She left with a wagging tail and giant smile. Had an emergency with my guinea pig at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve, took our little Butterscotch in for what turned out to be an eye ulcer. The staff were wonderful! The people at All City South are amazing. We are two weeks into a cross country road trip and our 4 year old dog started bleeding from something on her neck. We were a bit freaked out being in a new city far away from our regular vet. We called up All City and they said to bring her right in, no appointment needed. They were so kind and so quick to get us in. Turned out to be a bad scratch that started to get infected. I just moved to the area, and I had to bring my 12-week old Mini Goldendoodle to the ER and she was admitted. Without knowing any businesses in town, I was nervous to go to someone new. However, I had a very good experience. The vet (Heidi) was very nice, listened to me, and was very caring towards my puppy. She made sure I understood the plan of care, and was not pushy with treatments. They only did the necessary labs and treatment. It was nice that they gave you an estimate of what everything was going to cost before you agreed to everything. The vet techs and receptionists were very helpful and nice as well. The vet tech that discharged us was very thorough. Overall, I highly recommend this place if anybody needs to seek emergency care! Read Less

What an Amazing place! Our little Axel and David and I are blessed to have been referred here. Axel's quality of life has been greatly improved after the elongated pallet surgery he had done. Took my Tigger there last night due to him throwing up after eating the past few days. He is a American bull pit mix and we were considered that he was getting a twist in his stomach which is very common for a American bull dog and could be deadly. Well the staff was amazing he loved them and we felt comfortable with him in their care. After x rays and blood tests he just had some gas and inflammation In his stomach. We couldn't of gone to a better place, we were very happy our baby boy got to go home. Thank u to a amazing staff for taking such good care of our dog. I relocated to Sioux Falls less than a week ago. One of my little ones did not do too well in the move and starting having issues. I needed have her checked, but was not sure where to take her. I spent countless hours reviewing Vet Clinics in the area, including online reviews. All had good and bad. From my research, I decided on All City South. I am beyond glad I did! I was incredibly impressed with how thorough and knowledgeable Dr. Klatt was- even down to checking for any neurological issues/signs. Sam, vet tech, was just as impressive. The entire staff was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. The affordability of the clinic was also a nice surprise. These people do some incredible work! I came in a few months ago with a puppy who turned sick rapidly over the weekend. Had it not been for the amazing team here she would not be alive today. They were so great at updating me frequently during her stay and giving her lots of love. It is so great to have an emergency clinic in Sioux Falls that works so hard! I can't complain about a single thing during our experience. The prices are very fair considering the all nighters and amount of staff that they need to run a 24/7 clinic. Thank you All City South!!! I had brought my 12 year old Miniature Pinscher Ricky in for his first teeth cleaning and tooth extraction. Dr. Carlson was so wonderful!!! I really can't express the gratitude we have for her helping him. The surgery went really good and Ricky recovered very fast! He is no longer in pain and his breath does not smell!! They tell you the truth and do not recommend things that are not necessary. Prices are the best I have found in town yet!! Very friendly staff EVERYWHERE! The wonderful staff at All City Pet Care South took excellent care of our boy Duncan for eye injuries that ultimately resulted in removal of both his eyes, just 16 months apart. They helped all of us on the emotional journey to heal Duncan and reassured us along the way that he would adjust well. We were brought to tears when we learned this amazing vet team awarded our little guy with a Purple Heart for bravery - a nod to his stoicism during a number of procedures. I have delt will all city pet care on 2 separate occasions. The first time was on an emergency situation where my dog had gotten out and ran, and was taken to them after he was injured, they took great care of him and were great to me, they sent us home with some meds. Happy ending. This last time wasn't. I brought my baby in to them Sunday night after he passed away unexpectedly and without warning. They were extremely sweet and sympathetic, I was treated as part of the family and with the upmost respect. Even better, so was my boy. I was even allowed to return an hour after he was dropped off, to say good bye one last time. They brought him in wrapped up from the waste down in blankets, and gave us time alone with him to grieve and say a final goodbye. They always called him by his name, even when they called to say his ashes were ready to be picked up they didn't say ashes or remains, they said 'knight is ready to be picked up'. Everyone was very sympathetic and really made a very sad and heartbreaking time a little better by giving my boy the same respect you would expect for a human. Beginning to end. He was really a part of our family, and in the end it was amazing to see the respect given to him by strangers, he wasn't just a dog and they knew that. The way he was handled and the way we were handled was beyond professional duty, it was as if they felt his loss. I am very happy with the experience we had there in such a difficult and painful time and to know he was treated with love and respect from the time he was left with them till the time he was returned home is a comfort I didn't think I would ever have. We brought our Dane in at 10p on a Sunday not knowing what he was suffering from. We knew he was hurting and in a lot of pain. Within a short time he was diagnosed with a twisted stomach and bloat. His surgery was a huge success and he was given the best possible care even though he was not the ideal patient :) So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being the lifesaver that Moose needed. I brought my 7 y/o shipoo in around 11:00 on a Monday night, because my vet was out of town, and Milo had a serious corneal abrasion.The entire staff was wonderful....caring and understanding. Awesome small animal vet! We drove 4 hours each way to get our dog vaccinated with red rock biological's vaccine and the staff and doctors really went out of their way to accommodate us and our dog.  This is top notch customer service and we will continue to use them to treat our dogs. The pricing and fees are about half of what we would pay at our home town vet and I highly recommend this place. Read Less
