Everyone was nice but I feel like there were just trying to get as much money as possible running random tests instead of the obvious ones. I've been here for two hours and I feel like if I wouldn't have spoke up and told them what was the matter with my dog. I feel all city pet care does a good job taking care of the pets themselves- BUT they really are not honest people with the financial part of it. They tried to charge me for giving my dog a nail clipping when they didn't ask my permission before doing it. Another time I called ahead to see how much something would cost. So of course I showed up prepared to pay that amount. They charged me an extra $65 to do a "quick" physical exam that they didn't tell me about!! I have a budget - and I didn't have that extra money - they made me pay it anyway :( oh and that "physical exam" literally took 30 seconds of their time..... yes like I said they are very deceiving.....I will be going to Sioux nation from now on. We had to put our beloved red lab Lacee aka pooh bear down this past wknd and couldn't be more pleased with how compassionate Dr. Plahn and vet tech Abigail were. I would highly recommend this clinic and the people who work here as I have never seen this type of compassion or care at any other Vet. Read Less

Nicest staff & Doctor! Our 17 year old cat had a seizure and just wasn't coming out of it! We ran her in w/o calling. 40 minutes to closing. They said come on in. Treated us with such kindness! THANK YOU SO MUCH to this wonderful animal clinic and expertise to help get Mishka Muppet back to her original self. They squeezed us into a very tight schedule without us ever feeling like we were ever a burden or rushed in any way. The Doctor and Staff treated us very kind with sincere consideration for Mishka's condition. They got her fixed up and on her way home within hours after we had been turned down by several veterinarians because of it being a bone facial fracture. I have nothing but good things to say. Our puppy broke his leg, Dr. Matt Stork, We thought we were going to have to do surgery to repair the fracture but Dr. Stork decided due to the location of the brake we would set the brake then put a cast on it, instead of putting screws into the leg. It took 2 months of bandage changes, X-rays, and Kennel rest (We paid nothing extra out of pocket after our initial visit) but our puppy's leg is now fully healed. The fact that Dr. Stork considered what was in our dogs best interest and not what was in the best interest of his pocket book was impressive. I Would recommend this Vet Hospital to anyone that has a small animal. Read Less

You guys refused to see a possibly dying dog today,very disgusting"service". Being the only emergency vet in town, my locl vet who is closed, ha your number on his machine, to call for emergency. The receptionists are always friendly and so are the vets and techs no complaints there. My complaint is against the groomer I am not happy that I was told I would be overcharged because my puppy's hair was too long even though she is always over booked and they only have one groomer. Also, had brought him in for a small trim a few months back and nothing was said. My puppy is 9 months old and was put in a kennel with a towel covering it because he was crying. His brother got put in the same kennel not happy about that! Will take my grooming business elsewhere so upset! Read Less
