Took my dog here as he had been very itchy and smelly following a trip to a groomer. I took him to my regular vet first who completely brushed of as no big deal and did a very brief and poor examination . Fast forward 2 weeks later and my co-worker referred me here and I was very impressed with both doctors. Not only did they get my dog fixed up in 1 visit which is rare with a skin disorder but they did such a great job of actually examining my dog and answering my questions. I was worried about the cost of a vet in Sioux falls but found their services to be very reasonable. Thank you so much for getting my dog feeling better you had made a client for life!

Both Vets at Heather Ridge Pet hospital are outstanding. I recently was blessed with being able to get a dog for the first time in twenty years. They take the time to answer all of my questions and provide pretty good guidance on raising the dog. They are also handle my dog wonderful and have given her shots that the dog doesn't even notice. It could be the treats she is inhaling though. I would recommend them for all pet medical needs.

Have been here on several occasions with my pets. The clinic always seems to do good work for our pets and we have never had any issues. I feel the clinic is competitive with the price of services compared to some other places I've taken my pets to. I enjoyed meeting the little three legged greeter kitty on the cat side ( which is another nice thing about this place when you walk in you either take the door to the right if you are bringing in a cat or take the door to the left if you're bringing in a dog I think this makes it less stressful on some animals that way ).

This place is AMAZING. I recently adopted a dog with teeth issues and I took her here. No one at the clinic pushed me to do anything extra on my dog that I didn't want done. ( a problem I have had in the past with previous vets basically acting as human product promotional pamphlets). They were extremely gentle with my dog and removed her bad teeth and the teeth she still has are SUPER white and clean. VERY affordable. I have been going to vets long enough througout my life that I can identify a good clinic, and this place is it!

I'd just like to write a review and say thank you to Doctor Anderson and the rest of the team at Heather Ridge pet hospital. Pre was hit by a car two months ago and during the first week following the accident we were unsure that he was going to come home to us, but the staff here kept us well updated on Pre's condition. Pre did come home to us after having surgery on his pelvis at the U of M and is now doing very well! Playing fetch and all once again!

Took a four-legged family member here twice. Both times for a urinary track infection. She had an ultrasound done both times to find and draw urine. I was informed that the bladder was the only part of the stomach area that had a ultrasound. Subsequently, she died of a supposed tumor. I would suggest that anyone taking a family member to any doc. that they ask questions. In asking why this tumor was not included, I was informed that the bladder was the one area examined.

Both the vets at this clinic (and all the staff) have been so caring and compassionate towards my pets and me. They have neutered two of my cats, removed a tumor from my senior Dobe, cleaned my dogs' teeth and done regular exams and vaccinations for all my pets over the past few years. They helped keep my old girl comfortable when she was in heart failure. I find their prices to be very reasonable and the care top-notch. I also highly recommend their in-office groomer, Connie. She keeps my dogs looking and smelling their best.

Heather Ridge has neutered two male kittens for me and they've also seen my two dogs. Most recently, they removed a cancerous tumor from my ten year-old dog. Dr. Anderson spent as much time as I needed answering my questions. When my dog pulled out some of her staples, they re-stitched her at no additional charge. They always call the day after a procedure to check on how the pet is doing. My parents and sister also take their pets to Heather Ridge and have all had positive experiences. I'm very pleased with the vets on staff, the office personnel and the facility.

I take my kitties to see Dr. Angie. They love Dr Angie. All of the staff is great. And if you take your pet in for an illness they always call the next day to see how your pet is doing.

Very helpful; they diagnosed our dog with diabetes. They took the time to explain what it was, and how to care for him. He went from barely alive to five star tail-wagging after a couple of weeks. Also, they showed concern and sensitivity toward our little cat who passed away a few months ago. She was pretty old, and the treatment they provided extended her life with quality.

We can't express enough, the gratitude we have for Heather Ridge Pet Hospital. Dr. Anderson and her team brought our 2 1/2 year old lab Buffy back from the brink after a rare small intestine torsion claimed 2/3 of her small intestine and came within hours of claiming her life. As of today, we are 5 days removed from emergency surgery and the outlook, while still guarded, is very positive! Great team of professional care-givers. Great team of all-around good people.

My little Emma was spayed and had her front claws removed at Heather Ridge about a month ago. I can't ever thank everyone there enough for how amazing they are and what a great job they did. She was feeling great right away, in a few days she just got back to her usual playful self. They did such a great job with the pain management, that I don't think she was in pain. She bounced back really fast, like nothing ever happened. That was so comforting, because I felt horrible to have to declaw her, because of all the terrible things I've read about effects of declawing. Thank you, guys so much - for really treating our pets like they are your own.

I knew this place was great when I first took my dog there, but I didn't fully appreciate just how great Angela Anderson and her staff were until we moved out of state and I had to find a new vet for my shiba inu. Dr Anderson is very professional, caring, and intuitive with my dog, which is pretty hard to be with his breed. I've been to 2 different vets so far in the state where we currently reside, and neither of them have even come close to how great Dr Anderson was with my dog. Excellent and affordable care. If I ever move back to the Sioux Falls area, this is hands-down, the only place my pets will go for their care. Thanks!

She knows animals and always gives plenty of options and explanations of what is going on! Definitely a great vet!

Never Again! Dr. Anderson caused our family so much unnecessary pain and grief! She said our dog had cancer and that he only had 2 weeks to live. She didn't give us any hope or any options. Pretty muc...
Never Again! Dr. Anderson caused our family so much unnecessary pain and grief! She said our dog had cancer and that he only had 2 weeks to live. She didn't give us any hope or any options. Pretty much gave him a death sentence and expected us to just accept it. We insisted on a biopsy, which she reluctantly performed. Come to find out it was only Irritable Bowel Syndrome! All we had to do was switch his food! It has been over a year now and he has gained all his weight back and is as energetic as ever! Needless to say we have since changed vets.

Took my dog here as he had been very itchy and smelly following a trip to a groomer. I took him to my regular vet first who completely brushed of as no big deal and did a very brief and poor examination . Both Vets at Heather Ridge Pet hospital are outstanding. I recently was blessed with being able to get a dog for the first time in twenty years. Have been here on several occasions with my pets. The clinic always seems to do good work for our pets and we have never had any issues. I feel the clinic is competitive with the price of services compared to some other places I've taken my pets to. This place is AMAZING. I recently adopted a dog with teeth issues and I took her here. No one at the clinic pushed me to do anything extra on my dog that I didn't want done. Both the vets at this clinic (and all the staff) have been so caring and compassionate towards my pets and me. They have neutered two of my cats, removed a tumor from my senior Dobe, cleaned my dogs' teeth and done regular exams and vaccinations for all my pets over the past few years. We can't express enough, the gratitude we have for Heather Ridge Pet Hospital. I knew this place was great when I first took my dog there, but I didn't fully appreciate just how great Angela Anderson and her staff were until we moved out of state and I had to find a new vet for my shiba inu.
