Browndog Lodge Veterinary Clinic offers the following services for canine and feline patients: diagnostic panels, vaccine schedules, dental cleanings, mobility assessments, parasite screening, nutrition planning, and senior pet evaluations. Care plans can be aligned alongside the pet’s lifestyle and family routine through single-visit coverage, phased services, or milestone-based monitoring. Adjusting the frequency of appointments in accordance with seasons and natural changes in one’s behaviour, energy levels and family availability. Post-visit documentation provides clients with detailed reports on the behaviors, medication schedules, and other future considerations. The system can send reminders for follow-ups, which the user can schedule through the app. Additionally, it provides instructions on how to pace the treatment at home. I called around to quotes on teeth cleaning for my pup. This place seemed to be the most reasonable and they offer military discount! I brought my dog in and the staff was nice and seemed to genuinely love animals. I dropped off my dog (they put your dog under for a deep plaque removing cleaning) and they said they would call when she wakes up. They called when she was ready and I went to pick her up. They gave me an instruction sheet on how to care for my dog the next few days and some meds to take with me. I then signed up my dog for their Christmas bath special. I dropped her off for the bath the next day. They did a great job. She looked good and smelled good. The best part is, when I took her in for her check up (on her teeth) my dog was very excited when we got out of the car. Then when we went inside she got even more excited. This shows me they treat my dog right. I will be using them from now on. Read Less

Took my new puppy here, and did a puppy start up. He was scheduled to get dewormed, and his first of puppy shots. I also wanted them to check and see if he had a UTI,  because he was peeing about 10 to 15 times an hour! I thought that was a lot. So I get there about 10 minutes before my appointment. There was one person in front of me and I had to wait about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Kind of annoying. Then we get into the exam room and the nurse took The dog and weighed him and then brought him back. We then waited on the vet for about another 10 to 15 minutes.  She finally comes in and gave him his dewormer and shots. So I asked her to check his ears his eyes and asked about his peeing problem. She suggested to do a urinalysis, so I said ok. So she and the nurse took the dog to the back to pee, and brought him back. That's it. She didn't tell me how much it was going to cost, how long it was going to take (it took 45 minutes and it was $50!) and then the veterinarian herself and never came back in to tell me the results! She just sent the nurse and then every question I would ask the nurse she would go in the back and asked the vet! They were just running around in circles not really knowing what they were talking about! Just because of this one veterinarians actions at my visit I will not return with any of my other pets. I boarded my two dogs over the weekend. This place was more expensive but the boarding area seemed really nice and had alot more room than most I had visited. I dropped them off on Saturday and when I picked them up on Monday and got them home they both smelled of urine. My dogs have been crate trained all thier life so I doubt they had accidents and even if they did why didn't anyone clean them up. It makes me think they let my dogs lay in urine the whole time. I also paid extra for a kennel that has access to the outside which I later found out was never used because they don't go outside when no one is there or if it is cold outside so why the difference in price. Later on I called to complain and I was told the office manager was not in and they would leave her a message. I didn't here back from her for four days. Guess she cares just as much as the staff does about my pets. When she finally did call me back she practically called me a liar and said maybe my dogs urinated on themselves on the ride home. I am not one to complain unless there is a worthy complaint. I will also write letters of recommendation. Since our move here last year, we have been clients of the Pet Health Center. Courteous staff, but outrageously overpriced. Once I mentioned the excess price - the quality of care went down. Prior to me mentioning the excess price of one medication..the staff urged me to bring my cat in for a second visit. We discussed his condition, I put this second visit off for the weekend and called Monday morning to make an appt. They urged me not to wait, due to allowing time for the procedure. They chose to do a CBC and more x-rays on a 13 year old cat with constipation. $193 later, they said that the cat was fine and to increase his laxative. I felt like they took advantage of my feelings for my animal, and have not followed up with me like they have in the past. They sold me Lactulose 60cc (2oz) at $20.00. This costs them no more than 30 cents an oz. Even if they charged me $10 they would make over 800% profit. Then there is the x-rays on top of the x-rays they took days earlier. WHY DIDN'T THEY RECOMMEND THE INCREASE OF THE LAXATIVE PRIOR TO THE URGENT CARE THEY DIDN'T GIVE! Is there a reasonable vet out there who also cares for the owners of all these animals? Read Less

I think I have found my forever clinic for my little chi's. We have had toy breeds for over 30 years and have always had adequate care where ever we took them, but I have to say that this hospital goes above and beyond our expectations. Our little dogs were not frightened and did not seem to mind being examined by strangers ( now friends) . They were even patient with the one we have who has a somewhat tarnished reputation. They even changed to tiny needles for the vaccinations because our babies have tender skin! The hospital is clean, smells nice, has extremely hospitable staff and the docs are little dog lovers too! We took a tour and were very impressed by the boarding areas. We don't travel often, but when we do, our ""kids"" will be staying there! Read Less

We have been taking our dog (now dogs) to Pet Health for nearly four years now for grooming. The groomer they had when we first started going was really good. She seemed to be able to follow our instructions on the form. We were always happy. Since about a year or so ago after they got a new groomer, this one just can't seem to get it right. The first time it looked like we had never even taken our dog to be groomed there was so much hair still left on him. Now we have two dogs (both pekingese) and we took them yesterday. This time she shaved them! We did not ask for that. My husband was the one who filled out the paperwork so he was the one who called about it. The groomer said she followed some sort of directions on the form about how many inches to leave or something to that effect, but the thing is that there's not any inches of hair left at all. They are shaved! Not a hair cut, they are shaved. This is 45 dollars a pop for each dog. They didn't even offer any sort of reimbursement. The receptionist told my husband that she thought they were still cute, but number one, her opinion is not what counts, and number two, they look awful to us. So I would think twice about having your pet groomed there or ask to talk to the groomer personally instead of just filling out the form and handing it over to the receptionist because obviously there are communication problems with that stupid form they use.
