I love this vet. The price for my dog's vaccines are $15.00 each, and I don't have to see the vet for the follow up vaccines - cutting the cost more (thier suggestion). The techs are awesome and friendly - my dog loves them and can't wait to get in there. When he was nuetered, he didn't like the kennels, so the vet took him in her office and let him sleep under he desk and said he was quite a lovey dog - which he is :). As to the review about upfront prices - IT'S ON THE WEBSITE, ON THE WALL INSIDE, AND PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE. If you hit a busy time, and the tech failed to tell you, then that is unfortunate, but we all have moments, and 30 vs the standard 75 at most vets is pretty fair. As for payment plans, some neighborhood vets do do this - as I have experienced. Some neighborhood vets have also STOPPED doing this, as they have not been paid. Value vet doesy offer a third party for you to make payment arrangements with. You don't do credit - but credit from the vet - with no interest, and lots of risk for the vet - was exactly what you were asking for. Sounds like you are being difficult instead of reasonable there - they are, at the core, a business. And the vets are NOT the owners, they are employees who can be fired at will, for offering what you were requesting. I understand being short on funds, but I really, really, am tired of the ""front me, take care of me"" mentality. Part of owning a pet is the expense of taking care of the pet. Don't ask the practice to offer you interest free credit - they can't. It's pretty upfront (ie, on the wall and the paperwork), that they don't do that. They offered you the only solution they could, which was to apply for third party financing. The tech that said take them home to die, seriously??? No matter how difficult, how in the world could you say that and be a vet tech?? Horrible, gees. Some people think of their animals like their kids, and I know a lot that would go nuts over that comment. Shame... Read Less
