Dr's Wayne Sullivan & Lisa O'Neil are consciencious & compassionate vets. I have worked with them in the past & trust their skills immensely. Wayne is a fine surgeon, & Lisa is one of the best cat vets around. Both are very good diagnosticians. They are personable & maintain a good positive atmosphere at their clinic. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wayne Sullivan. His calm, gentle demeanor with my pups and myself, is both soothing and reassuring. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. He doesn't try to "sell" or scare you into doing unnecessary expensive procedures like so many vets these days. If he recommends something, it's because he feels that is what is best for your critter period. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Read Less

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. I love this entire staff and they are, by far, one of the best Vet teams that I've used. I had five pets (3 cats and 2 dogs) when I first moved to TN. I was living in Brentwood and needed attention for one of my cats immediately - on a Saturday morning - and they took us. That was all it took and I haven't thought about going to anyone else since! Dr. O'Neil AND Dr. Sullivan are exceptional in their knowledge and care. They are compassionate and caring, but they also know how to deliver the tough news when it's not so good. I've since moved to Nashville, but I still make the drive because it's worth it. As we all know, we can't predict when our pet's health may need attention, but these folks always seem to be able to make room for us when needed. This vet was the WORST! CONGRATS to this vet! It is officially the lowest rated vet on yelp!.. and for good reason! How sad & pathetic. Most AWFUL experience I had in my entire life! I was going to shell out so much money for my dogs at this place, for teeth cleaning, boarding, shots, biopsy for two of my dogs.. But after this experience.. I will go to SOUTHSIDE vet. I just moved to the area and needed to find a good vet for my 3 yorkies and my mother's yorkie. My mother had visited this place prior, so I wanted to give them a try. I boarded all 4 of my yorkies here on a weekend. I asked them to cut the nails of my 2 yorkies during the boarding bc I am scared to cut their nails and make them bleed, so I wanted to leave it to the professionals. I picked up all 4 dogs after my weekend getaway and loaded them into the car after paying for the boarding and nail trimmings (trimmings; which they charge for).. upon loading them into the car, all of sudden I see blood smeared everywhere on my seat and the shift gear, not just a "drop" but blood smeared all over the place.. I examined all 4 dogs and it turns out one of my dogs was bleeding from his foot. I called the vet from the parking lot, as I couldn't run inside bc I had 4 dogs in the car.. the vet tech put me onhold for 5 min and finally when she got on, I told her and asked if she could send out a tech with some wetnaps to wipe down my seats and/or to help me bring the dogs back in. But she told me to just bring in the one dog, leave the other dogs in the car and declined my request for help.. it was more than 90 degrees outside and I was uncomfortable to leave my car engine running with the keys (what if someone steals my car? Who is responsible? I would be, not them) or to leave the dogs in the car in the heat without AC but I had no choice I guess. So I had to leave my keys in the car and take the "one dog" in (even though they had enough staffing to send somebody out to help me). Once inside a man helped "clot" the bleeding. As I was walking out, no one even attempted to apologize for the inconvenience.. NOTHING. I had to ask again for some wetnaps and the guy followed me to the car.. I wiped down my seat and by this time I was already a little frustrated w/ the customer service.. so I made a comment to the guy saying "somebodyshould've "thought" to apologize or offer a refund for the trimming.. if I wanted my dog to bleed I would've cut their nails myself". Here's the thing.. it's not about "$10".. it was about customer service and morals and the fact that they did nothing to make it right was what made me mad. The man instead of admitting to their mistakes.. instead argues that they can't help it if the dog bleeds from the trimming.. this made me even more mad. I told him forget about it and I was in my car about to leave, texting my husband what happended, and the man comes back out with a $20 bill. I roll down my window and he tells me "here's your refund"... I said "no thank you".. I didn't want the money, I just planned on never bringing them back.. HE THEN TOSSES/THROWSTHE MONEY INTO THE CAR THROUGH MY WINDOW OPENING AND IT LANDS ON MY LAP!!!!!! I TOTALLY FLIPPED. How dare he toss money like that at a customer like I'm a begger or some kind of dog... NO ONE WITH ANY KIND OFMORALS, EDUCATION, RESPECT WOULD DO SUCH A THING!!! I was SPEECHLESS, I asked for his name and was planning to report him. I am going to report this vet to the Better Business Bureau. What's more baffling is that this GUY ENDED UP BEING THE DOCTOR!!! OMG. His name is Wayne Sullivan. I will report a complaint for public records with his licensing # as well. I'm an RN and have experience in the medical field.. I'm not an idiot.. and I know how to go about ways to report people. They had enough staff to help me but they did not, they did not TRIAGE properly... If I say a dog is bleeding all over my seat they should've immediately sent someone out to help me.. What if it was something else and not from the trimming??... WHAT KIND OF VET, DOCTOR, STAFFING IS THIS PLACE?????!! Read Less

After being referred here by a local groomer, I have to say I was not pleased with the service my pet and I received here, at all. Do not waste your time or your money, the staff and two doctors here are not very nice to first time pet owners. I felt pressured into unnecessary tests and procedures to make my bill outrageously expensive, and made to feel like an unfit pet parent if I decided otherwise. After sharing my experience with my friends and family, I discovered I am not the first to take my pet elsewhere after visiting this establishment and I'm sure I won't be the last. Read Less

The WORST clinic I've ever visited. The staff and doctors here are rude and try and pressure you into unnecessary testing and shots just to make your bill more expensive in the end. The vet here misdiagnosed one of my family's beloved dogs, ultimately resulting in our family losing her, and this clinic even had the audacity to send a reminder card for her upcoming shots. Would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone, I've also had friends take their pets elsewhere after dealing with the unknowledgable staff here. I have taken my "children", both dogs and cats, to Animal Care Center for over 15 years and can't say enough good about the  doctors as well as the staff. During that time they have given my pets the highest quality care, often thinking outside the box in order to diagnose rare medical conditions, and been true friends when I had to make difficult decisions. I moved to Florida 2 years ago and still take my dog "Happy" to them whenever possible for checkups because  the loving, competent care they give my pets and peace of mind it gives me has been impossible to duplicate.  I wish all vets & staff were this gifted! One of the WORST clinics that I have ever been to.  The female vet there thinks that she knows everything, but she doesn't know much.  She misdiagnosed two of my pets.  If you're only going to work two days a week, why work at all?  A TERRIBLE PLACE with very unknowlegable vets.  I wish that I would have never heard of Animal Care Center of Brentwood.  No wonder the waiting room was always empty. Not the cheapest vet clinic in the world, but staffed by great people who genuinely care about your animals and will do their best to see that they're cared for.  I have a lot of cats - six at last count - and we've been going to ACCB for years.  Wouldn't go anywhere else if I had a choice.We even had to have a pet put to sleep here and it was really nice to have it done by someone who cared, instead of a clinical approach.  Highly recommended.
