Absolutely LOVE this place! There are several Banfields much closer to where I live, but I refuse to take my pet anywhere else. SO worth the commute! I've been bringing my Akita here for about 6mths now. I have only gotten the Most Professional, and Caring treatment from the staff and Dr.'s at this Banfield clinic. They have taken fabulous care of my baby! She is getting a little older now, 10 yrs old and began having hip issues. We started acupuncture treatments a month ago, and it has been life altering for her!! Before when we would walk, her back legs would give out (not at the same time) at approximately every 10 steps. Since doing Acupuncture treatments it is rarely happening!!! :) You'd think she was a spry 1yr old now! I've had Acupuncture treatments myself, so I knew what to expect. What I didn't expect was the 1st Class spa experience that Aries gets everytime we have a treatment!! :) Dr. Walden who I must say, is very gentle and has the sweetest Spirit, with my Aries! Always puts her at ease! Which I must say is important to me! (You see, I don't have children other than her). Let me describe the experience for you: You'll take your baby in the exam room. There will be a yoga mat on the floor as well as a blanket over the yoga mat. Once Dr. Walden places the Acupuncture needles in place (they are not painful, if you didn't know ) She will then turn on some relaxing music as well as some aromatic white smoke. A real spa experience! I was like, shoot! I didn't get this fabulous experience when I got my Acupuncture treatments! You stay in the room with your pet the whole time. After normally 20 minutes they will come in, take the needles out and treatment finished. Ask your Dr. they use Acupuncture for so many things now days. I am using it to assist in the healing and prevention of her hips and to assist in her incontinence issue. If I can do it this way, and keep her off heavy medication. I feel it's a win for her, so her body doesn't have to deal with side effects and it's more healthy. I would recommend anyone to speak to the staff if you would like to try a more naturalist approach with the health of your family members! I would also recommend one of the Preventive Plans, your vet can recommend which would best fit the needs for you. I loved the clinic I was taking my baby to before, but I just could not afford a $300. bill everytime I had to take her to the vet. I haven't had one any where's close since I've been bringing her to Banfield!! Read Less

I'm not sure if they have hired a new staff since past reviews but this place is AMAZING! Best pet experience I've ever had. They saved my animals life from dying. I was in tears for days thinking I would have to put him down. I am so thankful to have my bestfriend as a part of my life still. Kindness and caring seems to flow through that hospital!!! Read Less

We have been pleased with the care our kitten has received. She's had shots, spaying, and treatment for a UTI. The staff seems knowledgeable and caring. We started going there because of the convenient hours--they are open late and also in weekends. I like the wellness plan because when you have a new pet, it really saves you money to pay $39 a month instead of multiple larger amounts, and that fit our budget. If I could give them negative stars, I would. If you think your pet has a serious illness or you think anything is wrong with them, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. I cannot stress how horrible this place is. We have been taking our cat here for years for normal visits and vaccines which was fine. But a couple months ago when our sweet little cat seemed to be having vision problems, we brought her in immediately to get full blood work and a urinalysis done. They looked at her eyes and said nothing was wrong, she was just old. I don't know who is running their lab either but I would not trust their results. Luckily we did not. We took her to a more reputable clinic and had her eyes checked again along with blood work in their lab and they said she has significant retinal hemorrhages in both eyes and she has hypertension and chronic retinal disease. These do not occur overnight so I don't know how Banfield missed this. If you love your pet like family, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Read Less

Not really sure what the other reviews are referring to, but we recently moved from the 100 Oaks location to Moores Lane to follow our vet, Dr. Lawrence. We've had numerous visits and every time have been met with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Lawrence is an excellent vet and his staff care deeply about the animals there. The doctor and staff here are professional and courteous.   I brought my dog in because I saw worms in her poop.  They took a tiny fecal sample, checked her physically with hands, listed to her heart, took her temperature.   Fecal test came back with nothing.  Vet came and told me he guesses it's tapeworms.  Recommended a $50 pill that gets rid of all worms. $132 later, I don't REALLY know for sure what's wrong with her. I know she has worms, which I knew when I walked in $132 ago. PetSmart is just overpriced. Read Less

Shameful behavior from this place. I brought my elderly sheltie in for a tooth extraction because Dr. Vignal was already familiar with her weak system. Well that did me no good and may cost my dog her life. She was dehydrated and not given fluids after the surgery. They had the test results that showed she should have been given fluids and was too heavily sedated. She spent the night at Nashville Specialists who are a caring group and told me not to give one of the medications I was charged for at Banfield at all and to only give half the dosage of the painkiller. I also witnessed very inhumane treatment when the Vet Tech Sara yanked the tape off my dogs paw  with the catheter in it in the back. My dog who had just had teeth extracted was extremely weak but was yelping and fighting for her life when the other tech grabbed her by her mouth which made her cry in pain. My dog at no time was trying to bite them just get away. They are horrible and should not work with animals in my opinion. They did not know I could see them through the usually blacked out window. I guess that is why they do not allow you to see in the back room. Do not under any circumstances leave your do here. Dr. Vignal called me later to say she was sorry about my perception of the incident. That surmounts to saying I was lying and did not really see what I witnessed. I will never ever let Dr. Vignal come near my dog, if my dog lives, again. She made all the money she is going to make from me.Never been so angry or disgusted at any place or people before and hope to save others from this horror. I wish I could post the bloody picture of my dog. It is the picture of how they returned her to me. Bloody and almost dead. Called client services BTW, they cared so much they said they would be back to me in 3 to 5 days. Wow concern overflows at Banfield (SARCASM). Read Less

I will be never using Banfield again. After 5 years of bringing many of my pets here, I am highly disappointed at the terrible staffing and wait times there. Many of the vets have left from when we first began bringing our animals there in 2013, and now there are times one vet is the only one there. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone Read Less

I love this Banfield! My two dogs Frankie and Diego see Dr. Randolph and they love him! He answers any questions I have and is very thorough in his exams. The whole staff here is great. I always get calls after a visit to see how my dogs are doing and receive friendly reminders of what they are due for. I am very protective of my dogs and I can honestly say I know my dogs are in good hands when they are in their care. Thanks Banfield! Read Less

I brought both dogs in at 8:00am for yearly checkups that are part of the yearly fee you pay.  Both were scheduled for this morning.  I told them I needed to pick them up by 3:15pm as traffic was bad after 4:00pm.  I called at 2:50pm to make sure they would be ready.  I was told they wouldn't be ready until 5:00pm.  They said the work was done but the paper work wasn't ready.  I said I did't care about the paperwork.  The young girl said they had an emergency and had 9 surgeries scheduled for today. And it was first come first served.  I told her both dogs were in by 8:00am.  She told me to hold on then came back and said I can pick up at 4:15pm.  My dog's treatments were paid for by the plan and they were put off until later in the day for ca sh in hand. I will not renew my contract next year.  That's over $800 they will lose. This isn't the first time I have had a problem with picking up. Learn from my mistake and find a real vet not an assembly line where you never see the same vet.Seems that they have improved since my last visit.  I wished they would not rotate their vets as much as they do. I LOVE Banfield! It was recommended to me by my neighbor. I took my puppy Harley there for her first round of shots and was a little worried about how she would do with it. The staff and the doctors were so great to her and made her feel a little less nervous and me less nervous too. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a vet! The wellness plans are awesome and they even called to check in on her the next day. =) Read Less

No stars from me. I brought my cat in to have nails clipped and ears cleaned because the staff at PetSmart couldn't do it. We came home and she threw up twice and hid for the rest of the day. It's been two days and she's still not well. She has barely eaten and is stumbling when she walks. We're on the way to our regular vet. I will never return to Banfield. Read Less

I love this vet!!! The reception staff is always so friendly, especially Ashley. I've even seen her outside of the vet and she recognizes me and my pet.  My dog has seen several of the vets there and all of them seem very knowledgable and have always helped solve his health problems ASAP! I love that they are open 7 days a week. Even if I have an emergency come up they are always quick to fit us in. The wellness plan is a great option and saves me lots of money. Even for the littlest problem I bring him in to get checked out since there is no office fee with the wellness plan.  My pet has been going to them for several years and i recommend them to everyone.
