We LOVE DR. ASHLEY!!!! He is awesome and the staff is great. Though a bit pricier than another vet we have used, Dr. Ashley and the staff will treat your family members like their own. Our Sugar Gliders haven't really given us their opinions but if they could I'm sure if it hadn't been for being neutered, it would be all thumbs up. Read Less

my husband and i moves to Chattanooga almost 2 years ago and was referral to this vet. Dr. Morgan and Dr. Myers always had our minds at ease, the staff is so friendly and love our yellow lab Tango like their own. everyone there is a big help especially the technicians assisting to help get my dog out of my car due to surgery. thank you all for the work and kind gestures you do for not only our fur babies but for the owners as well. Dr. Myers and Dr. Morgan are the best vets in town! We have been taking our pets there for 8 years! Several of our dogs have had major injuries and Dr. Myers has pulled them through every time, knowing exactly how they needed to be treated! Read Less

I take both my boys there and have seen all the vets at one time or another. First off, let me say I am very picky about my babies and I love this place. One of mine needed surgery on both knees and Dr. Meyers did an A+ job, both with surgery and aftercare. My other contracted parvo and they were able to save his life. I love Animal Clinic Inc! Dr Ashley really knows his stuff, and the staff always make me and my pets feel welcome! I usually come in using my walker, and everyone is very helpful and understanding of my disabilities :) Both locations are easy to get into and out of, and there's handicapped parking right near the door. This means a lot to me as a mobility challenged seinior! My care aide goes wih me to help me, but I went up alone once and had all the help I needed :) Always,, it's easy to get an appointment around my care aide's hours, My cat Corene is scared of everything, but they made her feel calm during our latest visit. My daughter found a stray cat, whom I named Andrei, and he wasn't very cooperative when I brought him up to be scanned for a microchip. I didn't have to wait long at all for one of the ladies to scan him. And, Loveda, my little Chihuahua, enjoyed her visit to Dr Ashley, too. Nobody minded that I went through Catoosa Citizens for Animal Care and Chattaneuter to get Andrei neutered, because I was short on cash. Their top priority is my pets, period! I feel everyone on staff always is looking out for the best interest of my pet. Crinkles looks forward to her visits there, and she gets lovings wherever she goes, so as long as she healthy and happy, so is this dog Mom! Dr. Mary was wonderful with all three of my babies, from a yorkie to a 92lb boxer. She spoke with such a soothing voice even Taz , my scaredy cat, trusted her and allowed her to work on him and his brother Tucker ( but he had to stand up and watch). We always use Animal Clinic Downtown or Animal Clinic East. We unequivocally feel so comfortable and secure bringing all of our animals here. We like all the veterinarians but we really like Dr Tony Ashley. I am in awe of the Godliness, patience, kindness, knowledge, and love for our animals that Dr Tony Ashley shows us EVERY SINGLE TIME WE SEE HIM. God uses him for the animals and also the owners!!! I Would be remiss if I didn't give the other Veterinarians, front desk staff, the vet techs, and everyone else at Animal Clinic East and Animal Clinic Downtown the biggest thank you for ALL that you have,are and will do for us!!! I live out of town and recently had to visit this vet with one of my elderly dogs that was sneezing infection from her nose and I felt she needed immediate attention rather than waiting to take her to her normal vet after the weekend. The front office staff was very friendly. Once I got in the room and the lady vet came in for my dog's assessment she immediately jumped to conclusions about my dogs health before getting a clear explanation from me. For example; she informed me that my dog looked underweight. However, had she asked me first before making me feel like I am a bad parent... my dog has had spinal surgery, therefore her spine sticks up in the middle of her back. My dog is 17 years old and has always had a thin build. I have 5 dogs and they all eat very well. Like human beings, some of us can eat what we want and still be thin and some of us have to watch what we eat or we gain weight. Next, she asked had she had a blood work up (yes) and I was criticized on how I administer her arthritis medication which was based on her regular vet's instructions. Still mind you I was at this office for some sort of infection from a cold etc. Finally, she said she was going to have to do an xray before she would decide on a treatment option and depending on what she found "we may have to have a talk". I will do anything for my dogs so I agreed. Then she came back and said overall her xrays looked good but was suspicious over the area where her arm obstructed the xray view???? Bottom line she ended up giving my dog a 2 week antibiotic shot and determined it was an infected tooth and not a cold???? My dog has allergies and had a sinus infection. Clearly, I left this veterinary clinic frazzled at all the ways they try to get every penny out of you they can by trying to create issues with your pets that aren't even issues. I will NOT use this vet when I am in town again and I will NOT recommend them either. You are welcome for my $200 plus office visit charge that was not necessary.***************************************************************FOLLOW UP - I received a call from one of the owners; Tyler. We had a nice conversation about my visit and he was apologetic about my experience. He was very compassionate and understanding especially towards elderly animals. UT Vet School recommended Dr. Ashley to us for the care of our marmoset, Rocky. After meeting Dr. Ashley, I can't imagine taking him anywhere else! Dr. Ashley is very caring and concerning about his patients and follows up personally to make sure they are doing okay. It is well worth our time and expense to drive down from above Knoxville to Chattanooga for Rocky to see him! Read Less

My husband and I have taken our two dogs to Animal Clinic's downtown location and Gunbarrel location. At both places, we have received excellent care. Dr. Ashley has been amazing and since he spends more time at the downtown location we go there more frequently. Our older black shepherd mix, Rambo, has suffered from allergies and skin irritation for years. Dr . Ashley has taken his time to find the right meds and treatment for Rambo. For the first time, Rambo ' s no longer itchy and losing hair.  He looks and feels amazing.  We credit that to the care we have received at Animal Clinic. My husband is very picky about vets for our dogs and he has developed a level of trust and respect in the people and services there. Finding a good vet you can trust is imperative and Dr. Ashley is that person. Read Less
