Best bet I have ever been to. They were quick, professional, and friendly. They took every concern seriously and made sure I didn't leave until I had all of my questions and worries taken care of. They treated my old dog like a king and he loved it. He usually is really anxious after a vet visit, but after this one he was calm and relaxed. I really appreciate their care!

The process of choosing a vet was extremely difficult for us and East Ridge Animal Hospital seemed to understand that. From the first phone call to book the appointment until we were finished, the staff was kind, involved and knowledgeable. We are COMPLETELY happy with our choice. They treated our Maggie as if she was their own little girl even when they drew blood, took her temp, and a fecal exam, and the Dr was just as kind with her. She is a large Golden (101 lbs) and can be scarey at first, but he and his staff saw the sweet girl she really is and even got down on the floor with her. The Dr was covered with her hair at the end of the appointment. We left with some valuable information reguarding her and her health, and most importantly feeling like we had made the right choice for her ongoing medical needs, because we all know that finding the RIGHT Doctor and staff makes all the difference!! Thank you ERAH!

We took our dogs there because we had the AKC health exam certificates. Dr. Robert Knarr was very friendly. He quickly but thoroughly examined my dogs and reviewed the paper work I brought before speaking to us and doing his exams. Dr. Robert Knarr is knowledgeable on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) which is not something I commonly see in veterinarians these days. As a breeder this is very important to me. We hope to work more with East Ridge Animal Hospital in the future.

He was the most love I've ever known and I trusted Dr Smith to put him down easy and with no pain. He Hurt Him so Bad jamming that Needle in him and even with a nurse holding him the Man Can't See. Buck was looking at me like what the hell Daddy??? I cry everytime I think about it, I wish I would've took that Needle out of his hand and cramped it up his Ass. I Will never forget or nor will I ever rest easy.. I wish I would of took my baby boy Buck home and let him Die with me...His whole World was Me and I let someone Hurt him when he died.

Love this place! The care they show our animals has been great. We had our rabbit fixed here after looking around quite a few places to find someone who we were comfortable with (and who was willing) to do it. They took care of her and she is as happy and healthy as ever. The vet is very open and honest. Office staff is always super friendly!

I have recently taken my dogs to ERAH. One of the first, unfortunately, was to have our dog put down. They were very informative of the process and let us have as much time with him as we needed to say goodbye.
I have since had another dog who had a bite on the ear. She is a very nervous dog, but, the doctor and staff were calm with her and able to do the best exam they could considering her nervousness.
I will continue to take all my animals to them and promote their services whenever I can. The cost is reasonable and the wait time very minimal

I brought my cockatoo here to get him groomed. Everything including nails, wings and beak. The staff was very friendly and professional. I gave this animal hospital 3 stars because accidental or not, the doctor took a huge chunk out of my Cockatoos beak and, his beak is still messed up and, its been 2 months since our visit. My bird sneezed uncomfortably for days, he was very quiet and, he would hardly eat anything. The doctor was very apologetic and trying to keep my bird calm. He may of not meant to file a huge hole in my birds beak but I'm not a doctor and I knew that with a tool like the one he was using (drimmel) turned on high speed you can not stay in one spot for long or you will file to much off. I don't guess the doctor realized his beak was getting to thin. Either way, we probably won't go back to this vet for bird grooming. All the best-

My little Chihuahua is a rescue and shakes and barks at anyone new usually for 15mins (she's still a puppy) she's always scared some will hurt her again. She didn't do that there for maybe 5 mins because the staff were so gentle, kind and compassionate. The were thorough, gentle and seem to genuinely care about the animals, in other words it's not just a job for them, the staff WANTS to be there and the Veterinarian in no time at all put her at ease and she was even happy and ready to explore the waiting room and I wouldn't ever take her anywhere else!! I highly, highly recommend East Ridge Animal Hospital to anyone with animals!! There were even pictures of the Veterinarian with a bird perched on his lab coat covered arm!! They helped us through a very difficult time. Now I have a new baby to bring to them and they still treat us like family. My dogs also don't mind going to this Vet. My dogs like the Doctors and nurses. If my dogs like them, in good. Dogs are a great judge of character.

I recently took my dog in 2 times in 24ish hours with symptoms such as loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and no energy only for them to give him nausea medication and do X-rays. Turns out, after taking my dog to the emergency vet the same day, he has parvo. The test for parvo literally took 8 minutes. When I called the office to ask why he wasn't tested there, I was told that he wasn't showing enough signs of parvo to test. I'm not a doctor nor do I know everything about animals, but for parvo to be as aggressive as it is, I can't wrap my mind around why he wasn't tested there. Instead I paid $300 bucks for other tests vs the $60 parvo test. Money is no obligation as long as my baby is okay, but I just don't understand.

I trust them implicitly - and they've earned that trust over the last 5 years with utterly impeccable service to our pets... My mom took her dog there when she was sick. They misdiagnosed her and she kept getting worse. They made my mom bring her there everyday for a wk and charged her a fortune. Then, when they couldn't make excuses anymore, they sent my mom to the vet ER downtown, whee we were told that East Ridge Animal Hospital had let her get so sick that she most likely won't live. She is in the ICU now.Its costing my mom another $2000. East Ridge only cares about one thing-$$$$. And they need to do the right thing and give my mom her $$ back. If not, we will be suing.

My dog June Bug had hurt her back to the point where she has been hurting still without and without the pain medications. Dr. Karen Knarr and her staff have given outstanding care to June. Every time we are in to see them the entire staff is always professional and caring. June had been hurting so bad she has had numerous sleepless nights due to not being able to be comfortable. Today is her Third visit and June is feeling so good it is hard to slow her down. I would have never thought that acupuncture would work so well. I give the entire staff 2 thumbs up as for June, well she says 4 paws up .

While in Chattanooga for Thanksgiving, visiting from NYC, my small dog, the love and light of my life, got out, panicked, and ran off in the East Ridge/Missionary Ridge area. The ladies on the front desk were amazingly compassionate, even going out with the chip scanner to look for him when a possible local sighting occurred as well as searching on their days off. I have not, unfortunately, used their veterinary services (Murphy was found, 7 days later, very recently run over by a car) but would recommend them sheerly on the basis of their kindness and generosity of spirit.

East Ridge Animal Hospital was the best out there when Dr. Vance was in charge. Dr. Vance left many years ago. I have taken several cats there over the last year or so, only because East Ridge was the closest to my home, and I didn't want to stress the cats out by driving too far.I know I have spent over $600 on one of my beloved cats. She had to be put to sleep only a couple of days after the visit. I feel like they knew she wasn't going to make it, and gave her every test they could. They also charged me to euthanize her. I won't go back to East Ridge Animal Hospital.

I have had several dogs over the years and they took excellent care of each of them. I would trust them with my dogs life. I do have a parrot and I wouldn't bring her in there because that is not their specialty. You need to find an AVIAN certified vet for parrots and the closest one to date is in Atlanta. My doggies though, and my parents cats, are very safe in the hands at East Ridge Animal Hospital. They do take payments which is one of the things I love. I haven't had to do a payment plan thus far yet thankfully.

The process of choosing a vet was extremely difficult for us and East Ridge Animal Hospital seemed to understand that. From the first phone call to book the appointment until we were finished, the staff was kind, involved and knowledgeable. We are COMPLETELY happy with our choice. They treated our Maggie as if she was their own little girl even when they drew blood, took her temp, and a fecal exam, and the Dr was just as kind with her. She is a large Golden (101 lbs) and can be scarey at first, but he and his staff saw the sweet girl she really is and even got down on the floor with her. The Dr was covered with her hair at the end of the appointment. We left with some valuable information reguarding her and her health, and most importantly feeling like we had made the right choice for her ongoing medical needs, because we all know that finding the RIGHT Doctor and staff makes all the difference!! Thank you ERAH!

We took our dogs there because we had the AKC health exam certificates. Dr. Robert Knarr was very friendly. He quickly but thoroughly examined my dogs and reviewed the paper work I brought before speaking to us and doing his exams. Dr. Robert Knarr is knowledgeable on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) which is not something I commonly see in veterinarians these days. As a breeder this is very important to me. We hope to work more with East Ridge Animal Hospital in the future.

I was very disappointed and had my Heart ripped out by Doctor Smith. For a little over 15yrs I never let anything or anyone hurt my baby boy Buck.. He was the most love I've ever known and I trusted Dr Smith to put him down easy and with no pain. He Hurt Him so Bad jamming that Needle in him and even with a nurse holding him the Man Can't See. Buck was looking at me like what the hell Daddy??? I cry everytime I think about it, I wish I would've took that Needle out of his hand and cramped it up his Ass. I Will never forget or nor will I ever rest easy.. I wish I would of took my baby boy Buck home and let him Die with me...His whole World was Me and I let someone Hurt him when he died.

Love this place! The care they show our animals has been great. We had our rabbit fixed here after looking around quite a few places to find someone who we were comfortable with (and who was willing) to do it. They took care of her and she is as happy and healthy as ever. The vet is very open and honest. Office staff is always super friendly!

My furbabies won't go anywhere else but here. When we go out of town they stay with East Ridge Animal Hospital, and i prep my own babies food and they take time to warm it up just right and feed them....

I have recently taken my dogs to ERAH. One of the first, unfortunately, was to have our dog put down. They were very informative of the process and let us have as much time with him as we needed to say goodbye.
I have since had another dog who had a bite on the ear. She is a very nervous dog, but, the doctor and staff were calm with her and able to do the best exam they could considering her nervousness.
I will continue to take all my animals to them and promote their services whenever I can. The cost is reasonable and the wait time very minimal

I brought my cockatoo here to get him groomed. Everything including nails, wings and beak. The staff was very friendly and professional. I gave this animal hospital 3 stars because accidental or not, the doctor took a huge chunk out of my Cockatoos beak and, his beak is still messed up and, its been 2 months since our visit. My bird sneezed uncomfortably for days, he was very quiet and, he would hardly eat anything. The doctor was very apologetic and trying to keep my bird calm. He may of not meant to file a huge hole in my birds beak but I'm not a doctor and I knew that with a tool like the one he was using (drimmel) turned on high speed you can not stay in one spot for long or you will file to much off. I don't guess the doctor realized his beak was getting to thin. Either way, we probably won't go back to this vet for bird grooming. All the best-

My little Chihuahua is a rescue and shakes and barks at anyone new usually for 15mins (she's still a puppy) she's always scared some will hurt her again. She didn't do that there for maybe 5 mins because the staff were so gentle, kind and compassionate. The were thorough, gentle and seem to genuinely care about the animals, in other words it's not just a job for them, the staff WANTS to be there and the Veterinarian in no time at all put her at ease and she was even happy and ready to explore the waiting room and I wouldn't ever take her anywhere else!! I highly, highly recommend East Ridge Animal Hospital to anyone with animals!! There were even pictures of the Veterinarian with a bird perched on his lab coat covered arm!! I have taken my dogs here for a few years now. I recently lost one of my puppies at the Vet's office. They were wonderful with him. They treated him and is like family. They helped us through a very difficult time. Now I have a new baby to bring to them and they still treat us like family. My dogs also don't mind going to this Vet. My dogs like the Doctors and nurses. If my dogs like them, in good. Dogs are a great judge of character.

I recently took my dog in 2 times in 24ish hours with symptoms such as loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and no energy only for them to give him nausea medication and do X-rays. Turns out, after taking my dog to the emergency vet the same day, he has parvo. The test for parvo literally took 8 minutes. When I called the office to ask why he wasn't tested there, I was told that he wasn't showing enough signs of parvo to test. I'm not a doctor nor do I know everything about animals, but for parvo to be as aggressive as it is, I can't wrap my mind around why he wasn't tested there. Instead I paid $300 bucks for other tests vs the $60 parvo test. Money is no obligation as long as my baby is okay, but I just don't understand.

If you want a testament as to how loving, caring and professional ERAH are - then I'll tell you, my little doggy needs ACL surgery and we live over 200 miles away but my wife and I immediately wanted her brought to Dr. Knarr to be treated and seen. I trust them implicitly - and they've earned that trust over the last 5 years with utterly impeccable service to our pets... All other vets we've seen just never live up to the high standards set by East Ridge Animal Hospital.

I took my puppy there for a sick visit. They didn't even examine her. They just kept recommending that u get this service done or that service done, to try and make as much money as they could. My mom took her dog there when she was sick. They misdiagnosed her and she kept getting worse. They made my mom bring her there everyday for a wk and charged her a fortune. Then, when they couldn't make excuses anymore, they sent my mom to the vet ER downtown, whee we were told that East Ridge Animal Hospital had let her get so sick that she most likely won't live. She is in the ICU now.Its costing my mom another $2000. East Ridge only cares about one thing-$$$$. And they need to do the right thing and give my mom her $$ back. If not, we will be suing.

Each veteranian there is very knowledgable, eager to educate, and take time to answer any questions I may have (I do tend to ask a ton of questions). I wouldn't take my furrbabies anywhere else!

My dog June Bug had hurt her back to the point where she has been hurting still without and without the pain medications. Dr. Karen Knarr and her staff have given outstanding care to June. Every time we are in to see them the entire staff is always professional and caring. June had been hurting so bad she has had numerous sleepless nights due to not being able to be comfortable. Today is her Third visit and June is feeling so good it is hard to slow her down. I would have never thought that acupuncture would work so well. I give the entire staff 2 thumbs up as for June, well she says 4 paws up .

While in Chattanooga for Thanksgiving, visiting from NYC, my small dog, the love and light of my life, got out, panicked, and ran off in the East Ridge/Missionary Ridge area. The ladies on the front desk were amazingly compassionate, even going out with the chip scanner to look for him when a possible local sighting occurred as well as searching on their days off. I have not, unfortunately, used their veterinary services (Murphy was found, 7 days later, very recently run over by a car) but would recommend them sheerly on the basis of their kindness and generosity of spirit.

East Ridge Animal Hospital was the best out there when Dr. Vance was in charge. Dr. Vance left many years ago. I have taken several cats there over the last year or so, only because East Ridge was the closest to my home, and I didn't want to stress the cats out by driving too far.I know I have spent over $600 on one of my beloved cats. She had to be put to sleep only a couple of days after the visit. I feel like they knew she wasn't going to make it, and gave her every test they could. They also charged me to euthanize her. I won't go back to East Ridge Animal Hospital.

I have had several dogs over the years and they took excellent care of each of them. I would trust them with my dogs life. I do have a parrot and I wouldn't bring her in there because that is not their specialty. You need to find an AVIAN certified vet for parrots and the closest one to date is in Atlanta. My doggies though, and my parents cats, are very safe in the hands at East Ridge Animal Hospital. They do take payments which is one of the things I love. I haven't had to do a payment plan thus far yet thankfully.
