Animal House is awesome! Dr. Jullian is great! My husband & I stumbled upon them because they have emergency hours & took us in last minute around 7pm, right away because our kitten had a 106 fever, they were amazing. Very friendly. The inside is very welcoming. They were thorough & very willing to help us get a round about costs for future services we wanted. Yes, they may be pricey but good quality is worth it. As an independent rescuer, fair prices along with wonderful staff and care can be near impossible to find. Animal House is absolutely perfect. Working on our limited budget and doing everything they can to help us, this office has never failed to please me. What started as an evening emergency visit only ended up being our permanent new vet. Even for emergencies and overnight care they are fantastically priced. I don't think I can properly put into words how much I appreciate the folks at Animal House Vet. We just moved to the area when my dog had a medical emergency. I frantically called and they told me to come in right away. When I arrived, they were so incredibly compassionate and caring. I love this place! I always worry when I move somewhere new about finding a new vet that will be nice and reasonable and not run me around trying to dry up my wallet. I've had bad experiences with some vets but not this place! They are always so friendly and sweet when I come in and they answer all my questions and I don't feel like they are judging me or pushing me to do anything and they don't run unnecessary test. My dog had an oops litter and they were so nice about it. They did an ultrasound and since it was early on the pregnancy they even offered to do a second one at no charge. They are reasonably priced and as long as I'm in Clarksville I will be going here! Read Less

I take my pets here as necessary. I took both of them to get fixed at the same time (dog and cat) and had to leave them overnight. I called several times throughout the day to check on them, and they were so polite and understanding with every call! The staff at the front desk are very warm and helpful! Read Less

I'm reading all these negative reviews and I honestly think they're pulling them from where the sun doesn't shine. Having something wrong with your fur baby is obviously very stressful but there's no need to take it out on the people trying to help. I've always had amazing service and care for my baby Keetin, even though he's an anxious barker and causes commotion. Gotta love him and Animal House! Read Less

Stephanie and the front desk staff are awesome.  Such a loving group and they really do care about my pets.  They go above and beyond to make sure our pets are checked in and cared for.  Brandon Butts and the tech staff are great in explaining what's going on and taking care of our dogs. I have a 3.5 lbs. tiny little teacup girl poodle who is the love of me and my husband. She needed to be spayed and have her teeth cleaned.  I was so nervous about having her go under anesthesia because of her size and because I've read of some pets not making it through it.  We usually take her to Banfield pet hospital for her normal visits but I didn't trust them with something so delicate.  So my husband and I went on a quest for the best vet office to have her spayed and then at a later date to have her teeth cleaned.  We received a recommendation from my husband's co-worker for Animal House.  We decided to check them out and I was so pleased when we visited their clinic.  They were so nice and very helpful.  They took the time to answer all of ours questions and even told us that she could have her teeth cleaned and spayed at the same time.  This was so great for us because we didn't want to have her go under anesthesia twice.  By the way, Bandfield said they couldn't do both procedures at the same time.  When we brought our fur baby into have her procedures done at Animal house we were told that she had to stay overnight to be watched (policy) .  I really didn't like that because she's never been away from me overnight and she's gets really nervous when she's not with me.  However when I came in later that day just to check in on her, they let me take her home!!!  They said that she was doing so well after the surgery and because she cried and shook when left in the cage they thought it would be best for her to come home to recover :-)   I was so happy!!!!   They took such great care of my little girl.  The staff all took turns loving on her so that she didn't have to spend time alone in the cage.  Dr.  Neal was awesome!  I would definitely recommend this clinic for your fur babies.  SN:  I would have given 5 stars but in all cases in life there's room for improvement. We went in labor For my dogs annual  vaccines shots and they told us we didn't have to pay the exam fee because it's rabies awearness month and she had a bad allergic reaction to their vacancies so we go in and they make pay for a exam fee and the 2 shots she had to receive and they did not warn us with any side affects and when my wife was asking why do we have to pay the exam fee and the vet had a smart aleck tone to her voice and then the vet told the receptionist to deny my wife and our dogs services from now because my wife was "being ridiculous" Read Less

We are new to the area and needed a vet ASAP. Called them first thing and they were able to see our dog right away. The staff was awesome and very nice. The clinic was very open and clean. We did not have to wait that long, maybe 10 minute if that. The vet was very nice and caring. They did not try to push any meds or treatments on us that we didn't need or want. The price of the visit was very reasonable.I paid 89 for rabies and parvo /distemper combo shots, along with some pain meds and the exam. That also included 10.00 off for making an apportionment ahead of time. So, basically the exam was free. I can honestly say they are by far on the cheaper side than other places I called in the area. I have been going here for years and usually have good service but today I was very disappointed. I made an appointment for 2:00 and arrived 10 minutes early. There was a lady with two cats waiting but had not made an appointment. The receptionist told us both we would have a short wait for a room to open up. 30 minutes later another lady with two dogs came in that had never been there and they took her straight back. Then five minutes later they took the other lady who also had no scheduled appointment in before me. They never even looked my way. I got up to leave and told her I would reschedule but she just shrugged her shoulders and said okay. I think it may be time to find a new vet. Read Less

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I made an appointment at another clinic and ended up here by mistake. They saw my cat and treated her immediately. The doctor was extremely nice and answered all of my questions. The prices weren't too bad either, I spent only 100.00 for the visit, a shot, and 2 packs of medication. I love this veterinary clinic! The staff and vets are always so friendly and informative. They have bent over backwards a few times to help me out and to see my dog on short notice. They are so good, and patient with the animals, and the facility is nicer than most human clinics that I have been too. The Good:The receptionist (Winter) was an angel. I asked a ton of questions and she was great.The outside is very well maintained. The inside reception is very spacious.There were multiple people at the front desk.I was take back earlier than my appt.The tech was very courteous and explained everything. The vet was very nice. I didn't feel rushed at all and she answered all my questions.That have extended hrs til 9pThe bad:I can't think of anything!All in all I had a great visit. I am going to come off as one of those crazy cat people, but I just have to say that I love this vet clinic so far.  I had been going to the same vet for over 5 years, but the last time they were rude towards me and towards one of my cats.  I had several friends on Facebook who told me that this was the place to go.  1.  Driving up- I was really impressed.  Inside, I was even more so.  The place is spotless and the people are super friendly.    The place was booming (which is another sign to me that they are great- why else would people be there).  2.  They were able to work me in- even last minute- because my cat was ill.  The vet I saw (Dr. Chaudoin) was super friendly and explained everything to me before doing it.    I was impressed when she brought the x-ray in on her laptop and showed me everything she saw.    I also have to say that I liked that I saw her more than the tech (not that there is anything wrong with the vet tech, but it just made me feel like the vet was concerned).  3.  My cat Sinatra (who tips the scale at over 20lbs) loved them.  She is rather particular (and skittish) and she didn't even hiss at them.  I had to hold her at her previous vet and even then either I or the tech would get scratched.  I also didn't get given a 20 minute lecture about the size of my cat (she is plump- even with restricted food).  4.  Even with shots,  several meds, the visit, and an X-ray- I only paid around $250 or so.  I don't think that is too bad (considering I would have paid more at my previous vet).   They also take $10 off of your visit if you book an appointment ahead of time.  Overall, if you are looking for a great vet- Animal House is the place to go.
