I have never been to a vet before, so I don't have anything to go off of. However, I had just recently brought in my new dog, who was very emaciated, to get spayed, shots, and check on her weight gain. They were very kind and gave my puppy genuine concern. They ran a few extra tests and checked on her healing and only charged for half of what all they did. I've been taking my dogs here for 8 years. Helpful and kind staff. Vets always take the time to answer all your questions. You can really tell they all adore every pet. I even heard a tech getting excited because of dog that came in. Not too expensive and no need for an appointment. There is boarding and grooming on the back. Only had one issue with that. They clipped one of my dogs nails too short and she bled for a while. However, I'm not upset that happened because she's a dogs they jerk. I'm upset because they never even told me about it! I have been using Eastview for all four of my pets (two cats and two dogs) for the last four years now and they have been absolutely amazing! Not only do they take great care of my pets, they genuinely care about them too and their work shows every visit I go whether for yearly shots or a medical issue. Have come here exclusively for care of my rescues. While I take only senior age rescues, he entire staff made us feel comfortable and secure that the comfort of my babies was the most important thing. The office staff, techs and vets are like part of my family. Dr. Crowe supported my decision to release the babies when they could no longer have the quality of life each deserved. He gave me alone time, had the assistants take a final pic with me and my baby. So priceless. They even sent a handwritten sympathy card to me. At first, I was a little apprehensive that they are strictly a walk-in clinic, but even on a moderately busy day, my dog and I were back in a room and seeing the doctor within 15 minutes. We took our recently adopted cat to be spayed but the office called us to let us know that after putting her under they realized she'd been spayed before we got her (much to our suprise). Super friendly staff, very gentle with my puppy. I ended up here because my usual vet couldn't see my dog even when he was showing signs of parvo virus and had blood in his stool. Can't say enough about Eastview . They are the best Veterinary Clinic in Clarksville. They are so wonderful with our English Bulldog Bravo, who just neutering him. Are baby in 2 days was up and running around, even when we try to keep him calm. I cannot tell you what wonderful care they gave Bravo my poor little English bulldog who is a big baby at times. Lol Recently I went there with a puppy who was not what I have bought online, it was supposed to be a dog to help me out. The owner who sold it to me is a puppy mill and sent me a dog I shouldn't of got. I cannot tell you how Eastwood Veterinary really was great to me. I was crying so hard I cannot tell you how emotional I was. The assistant handed me a box of tissues ,and really tried to calm me down. The vet I cannot say enough about him, I think I cried through the whole experience, but he treated me with such compassion and understanding. Even through all of this, I can say this wonderful veterinarian place really cared about me when they did not have to. This wonderful place gave me with the new puppy, coupons and also heartworm medication at no cost. I will not take my precious babies anywhere but this place. Are two babies are a little kids. I have now taken him to Eastview twice, one for a routine visit, and the other a sick visit.. I have been extremely pleased each time we've been there. Our 3 dogs went to Eastview for over 8 years, each with different needs and temperaments, and Eastview was great with each one. This was true not only for the doctors (and I think I've seen every one here!) but for the front desk staff as well. Even in emergencies, they were always available and took the time to answer all of our questions and provide us with the necessary information we needed to make the best choices for our dogs. We found the prices on visits and medications to be fair as well. We recently moved out of state and I really miss the ease, friendliness and expertise of these guys. She is a 9 week old Pomeranian, and the Eastview team makes us so happy with their excitement when we bring her in!We had an unpleasant experience at another vet- where we didn't feel as though the vet truly cared about our Sadie. She didn't check vitals or anything and held her for approximately 5 seconds and told us that her soft spot was water on the brain and that we should return her to the breeder we got her from. We were devastated. We decided to get another opinion, and boy am I glad we chose Eastview.My boyfriend and I had been up all night researching water on the brain and our Sadie was not showing any signs of water on the brain. I had googled other veterinarians in Clarksville and stumbled across Eastview. I called them right at 8 (when their normal business hours start) and asked many questions. In fact, I ended up speaking to the front desk 3 separate times that morning. Not once did anyone get frustrated or angry that I kept calling! Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Due to their warm, welcoming voices over the phone, I decided that this was definitely where we needed to take our Sadie to get a second opinion.Upon entering Eastview, the staff at the desk was so friendly and helpful and they got us right in to see Dr. Acree. Dr. Acree is such a kind woman. She listened to our concerns and took a good look at Sadie, playing with her, checking her vitals and asking us questions about her personality and how she was doing. Dr. Acree came to the conclusion that Sadie did NOT have water on the brain and even had the other vets in the building take a look at her, just to be sure. Everyone there was so encouraging and even said that they wouldn't hesitate to keep Sadie if they were us. We took her back a week later for shots, and Dr. Acree was off. We worked with Dr. Loxley and he was nothing short of amazing. He took great care of our girl and reassured us, yet again that our Pomeranian is perfectly healthy and gave us some great tips on keeping her that way.We are so appreciative of the entire staff at Eastview Veterinary Clinic. This office is a little farther than others if you live near or on post but completely worth the extra minutes of driving! The vet and office staff are knowledgeable and are real sweethearts. Dr. Acree took her time to answer all questions and the sweet tech lovingly held our puppy as he was examined. There was no pressure to buy anything or do any additional procedures. The entry and examination room looked and smelled clean. Just an all around great atmosphere and experience! No appointment is needed! Really really like this aspect. We were seen within five minutes of walking through the door. Although I haven't - and hope not to use - they do offer 24/7 emergency care. Cherry on top, our bill was lower than I expected. My grandmother's dog was hit by a car one night during the holiday season, and between her, my mother, and me, we must have called well over a dozen animal clinics all over town and surrounding areas, and none of them wanted anything to do with us. Either they were gone, would not answer their phones, would not service animals that had not previously been their patients, or would not take animals from such a distance away. Dr Crowe is awesome! I have two dogs and he treats both of them. One is ridiculously hyper and the other one a little shy and protective --- he did well with both. My protective boy loved him by the end of the visit, which is a great endorsement by itself. He not only provided great service, but made additional recommendations and provided me samples of products he thought might work better for my dogs.
