If I could give no stars I would...do NOT take your pet here I spent an hour and a half waiting for a vet that happened to be at a drs appointment and wasn’t informed until that long of a wait...and by the time I got my daughters hamster to another vet in the hopes of saving her there was nothing they could do. I'm just going to leave this here in hopes it destroys the reputation of St. B animal clinic. We took our dog Molly to them to have her spayed. They didn't seem to have too many bad reviews online. So we went with it. Well today we got the call saying that she had died. She was only 4 and very healthy. The doctor comes in and has a smart ass comment about how he thinks our dog popped a blood clot, and that she may have been a hemophiliac, he even had the audacity to say she could even have eaten rat poison. He came back in later to talk to my roommate and when my roommate asked for the after surgery report the doctor merely stated that he had other surgeries to perform that he would get it done later. If you love your animals do not take them to this vet. Screw St. B animal clinic. Dr. Whitford is a disgusting individual and should have his license revoked for malpractice. Read Less

I moved here from out of town and was living in a hotel waiting for our new place to come available when our dog had a sudden medical issue. I called them they took me right away! Which my hometown vet never did that! The staff and doctors are so kind and understanding. It was a very busy place so I had to be patient and wait. I was not there no more than an hour. They answered all my questions and gave me reading material. They are very affordable and realistic. I will be going back for my vet service!! Read Less

Took our 13 yr old cocker spaniel in for euthanization. I wish I could remember the nurses name but what a wonderful job she did with our dog as well as making every attempt to comfort us. We chose for sedation prior and when it appeared that it took effect, we left the room. I happened to look in the room during the final procedure and the care she showed for our pet was very appreciated. She wrapped her arms around her, appearing to try and keep her calm and comforted, then very gently laid her head down on the table....at that point I had to look away. DO NOT BOARD HERE!!! I used this place to board my two medium sized (50 and 70 lbs) pups for 7 days. It started off great and very welcoming. They showed us the little room the two would be staying in together and there was only one bed. When we came to pick them up, they were "bathed". My white and black dog was covered in pee from feet to shoulders. It was stained in her coat and skin; it was so sad. She was skinny and so filthy. I asked what happened and they said "she must've gotten excited pee last minute". Sofie is 4 years old and hasn't had accidents since she was a puppy at home OR any other boarding she's been in. My dog was hit by a car 20 minutes before closing time. I got there just as they were ready to lock the doors. Calling ahead on myvwsy there i asked for assistance getting my dog inside. A young lady met me on the porch and packed my dog inside. Unfortunately I had to put my dog to sleep because the damage was too great. Crying the Dr wrapped her arms around me as I wept. These employees were over the top caring, sympathetic, helping me in every way possible. They also spay and neuter pets for a very reasonable cash payment. I have had three female cats fixed here and one tom cat too. The tom cat had broken the ball end off of his leg. The Vet removed the ball and my tom was saved!!!. Now four months later one can not tell he was injured. The primary Vet has told me that he is a cat person and for cats - I will not go anywhere else. Read Less

My initial experience with St Bethlehem Animal Clinic was great. I thought I finally found a vet for my dogs. However, after a second visit things changed. I took my German Shepherd to be seen because of his allergies. She put him on a medication called Temaril-P, the side effects caused him to have diarrhea. I called the clinic multiple times trying to reach a doctor for assistance. Each time I was told that someone would get back to me. Yet, know one did. Read Less

Have had 5 cats fixed at St B. 1 of them we were charged for, he was shaved and anestized but never fixed. Another 11 month old died due to complications related to spaying at St B. Only a 60% success rate. I'll never recommend or use again. Read Less

I will NEVER return! Thanks Rachel for running off customers with your nasty mouth! I have been going to St. Bethlehem Animal Clinic for 2 years to get my dog groomed (weekly) and seen by the vet. The Vet side was great but the groomer is the worst. I did not know she was so ugly until one day she walked in while I was dropping off my dog and said "you took you dog somewhere else because I did not cut her hair like that", it was said with so much hatred, anger and madness. My dog has only been to this groomer. I cannot leave my dog with a person who has so much hate inside of her. She seem to be unhappy with her life and job and takes it out on other people so I cannot imagine what she is doing to the helpless animals in the back. Even the staff apologies for her behavior and said that is just the way she talks. She hates her life job and family! Do not use this groomer. Read Less

I would caution anyone to take their animal to these people. The vet and vet tech lied about the stitches they placed in our dog. They lied saying that they someone would check on them when you board your animals with them. Our dog was injured when we picked him up due to him being unattended. Our little puppy has gotten an infection from a sloppy spay that the vet did "the same vet that is under investigation." Oh and they charge us for a cone. You will pay hundreds for your puppies services and they will charge you extra for the cone. They tried to over charge us for services we did not request. And to top it all off half of the staff are on the same page as the vet. I will never trust this place with my business again.Read Less

I am extremely happy with this clinic. I have a 2 Great Danes. One of them is very skidding and will get aggressive out out of fear. He was hiding behind chairs in the room and started growling the second he saw the doctor. I asked her if we could try anything else before having to sedate him. She walked him to the back, gave him love and he did anything she wanted. I appreciated that so much.I've also boarded both of the there when I travel and they love it.They love animals there and it shows in their care. Did a great job. My dog almost died on a Saturday. She had emergency surgery that saturday at 4pm. Thank God they took her and got to her that day. She would have been dead. Her bladder blocked up. Couldn't pee. She had 2 huge stones. Thank GodRead Less

Just please do yourself a favor and avoid this place!! Since I've moved to this area I've seen and heard nothing but horror stories. From a person taking in a sick kitten (that was adopted from them) being put down WITHOUT their permission.Dogs or cats being fixed and it being a complete hack job! Those poor babies!! Dogs after surgery having damn fish line to close them up. Beware of the "low cost spay and neuter" just think about how they get everything to be so low cost ... NO pain meds for the animals. Wow! We love it here! We have taken our puppies here since they were 6 weeks old. Even when one of my boys max got sick, they worked with us so well, even called a few days later so see how we was. Dr. Whitley was amazing! We took our Great Dane pup there he was extremely sick with a joint disease, causing a lot of pain. Our pup was there for about a week. He would always call and give my husband and I up dates every morning. Also he would go up there on his days off. He did everything possible to save the pup, unfortunately there was no cure. The Veternarians and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't rush through my appointments. They take their time to answer all my questions and addresses all my concerns. St. Bethlehem animal clinic is AMAZING! I just recently moved to the area and I was looking for a new vet to bring my puppy to and I have now found it. The Vets at this clinic are so professional, dedicated, and well worth the extra 25 minutes I have to drive to get there. The prices are also a plus! I took my puppy to get spayed and I was quoted a great price before she had the surgery and to my amazement when I picked up my ?Lucy? later that day the price was even lower. I love the way they treat me and my furbabies. My golden retriever, Chance LOVES coming to St. B!! He enjoys the friendliness and caring people that work there. Please don't worry about bringing any of your animals here, the St. B team will take excellent care of them and still be empathetic to a bad situation for your pet if they are in pain.
