I highly recommend Dr. Lang. My Iggy broke his leg and had to have surgery to get it corrected. My regular vet (she isn't fluent in orthopedic surgeries) called him and Dr. Lang took care of him within a few hours. He also is reasonably priced! Had taken my dog for a procedure. When I picked my dog up they gave me no after care information. A few days later I brought my dog back in for a check up. They cleaned the dogs wound. They brought him back out and he was bleeding very bad. They said to get some gauze and hold pressure on it. Ya, I'll go buy some gauze while my dog slowly bleeds to death all over me and my vehicle. Wait, I'm at an animal hospital. Why are they not putting pressure on them? After all that's why they get paid. I'm really not pleased. Well I asked if they had some gauze. Several minutes later they come back out with cotton balls. Anyone that knows, if you put cotton on a wound and when it finally clots, the cotton strands rip the clots back loose at the next cleaning. Wish they showed more compassion for my animal instead of looking at dollar signs. I understand people become complacent in there jobs, but these are living, breathing creatures. If you come into my Er with a bad scrape and it's scabbed over and not bleeding. And then I scrub it with no pain meds and it starts pouring blood and say, you're done that's 60.00 your not goin to be happy. Some times all it takes is some common sense. Be respectful to people and their animals. And be concerned even if you're not sincere. Read Less

Ariana is a moron with the critical thinking skills of a toddler. They can't call the owners while the dog is under anesthesia because it starts wearing off. The dog clearly had an issue with their teeth and I respect the veterinarians decision to not give uneducated people the time to 'decide' whether or not it is worth it. On the actual review though the people of this hospital truly understand how much people love their dogs. They will spend plenty of time talking to you about options and explaining what needs to be done and how to go about doing it. I've taken 2 dogs here multiple times and had cleanings and extractions done several times and never had an issue. Read Less

Today my mom called me in tears because our family dog went in for a teeth cleaning and came out with 14 teeth pulled She was told that during the cleaning they could potential pull one or two. We asked the doctor why we weren't notified before they did the procedure of extracting 14 teeth. We were told it would have taken too much time to call (I guess pulling 14 teeth was quicker). Needless to say we will not be using Community Animal Hospital again. We have used them the past five years at least once a month. Scarlet our family dog now only has a few bottom teeth and cannot eat dog food, is bleeding, and in severe pain. They also made us pay for the extraction. Not how I wanted to end today. Read Less

The prices seem reasonable and I think they are cheaper than at least 2 other clinics that I know of. I've taken 2 different pets there, neither has ever had to get surgery there so I don't know how they would be with that. They seem friendly and it seems like a good place to go. The only bad thing is that sometimes it seems like they are very busy & will let you drop your pet off in the morning, but you have to tell the problem to somebody behind the front desk, and you don't always get to talk directly to a vet when they call you back to let you know what the issue is. I would prefer to talk directly with a vet. Also one time I got a cat from the shelter and used them for her first visit and had them give her a bath. When she was ready, they just brought her out to the lobby in her carrier and we didn't meet with a vet or anything. Not that I really NEEDED to, since I've had cats before and know how to take care of them, but it seemed maybe a little impersonal that they didn't arrange a first visit with a vet for a new shelter cat. They are wonderful.. Kind and sympathetic to me when I had to put my 13 year old cat to sleep because of cancer. He was almost gone but was suffering. They took such good care of him and us.. Great people! Read Less
