I had a situation where I caught them doing something dishonest with services done on my dog ... when I caught them, they said they would take the charge off the bill ... checking the paperwork, they had highlighted the vaccines given to my dog that day (the ones we didn't ask for) and when I ask about it, Dawn said "its highlighted because you refuse to pay for the shots, so we can mark them as NOT GIVEN"... even though my dog got the shots ... They were really pushy and extremely rude. Not to mention costly. I had an animal that had a little infection and just needed antibiotics. They badgered me for 30 minutes until I agreed to run all these tests. Not to mention they took my animal away to run the tests. I didn’t like that one bit. Every other vet I’ve been to they do the shots and everything in front of you. They could have done anything to my pet while she was gone. I didn’t trust them. I will never be back, that’s for sure. These people were a God sent to me and our family dog. Bella is out 9lb Chiwahwa-mix. She was hit by a car and we took her to another Vet who charged us $180 for an xray and exam. They were unable to perform the surgery she needed so they reccomemded someone else; this new place charged $100 for an exam only and wanted $3,000 for her surgery... At this point we had lost hope but heard about mountainstone from a friend and thought to ourselves that this is her last chance... They have taken amazing care of our Bella. They were able to do the diaphragm surgery and reposition her stomach and liver for a fraction of the price. She wasn't stable so the vet personally stayed with her throughout the night and has updated us frequently. Read Less

MountainStone worked me in on the same day I called them with an emergency with my dog when my regular vet turned me down because I could only do payments or care credit. Turns out my dog had pancreatitis. Thank you Dr. Natalie and Mountainstone for saving my precious dog. Read Less

I have been taking my dogs to Mountainstone for a few years. The doctors and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The doctors always call very promptly to inform me about their bloodwork, etc. Lori, the groomer does great work! She is so kind and compassionate with my fur babies. So far, our experiences with this vet have been good, although we took our dogs there for nail clippings and they missed about eight nails on my smallest dog. The only other thing that bothers me is the male vet's very loud voice. We're in a very small room with hard furniture and flooring, so a loud voice is pretty shocking to the senses, but I was most worried about my three dogs, who were already nervous to be there. Surely that voice can't help put animals at ease. Maybe he needs a hearing aid. The only reason I'm even awake right now is because they just called me for a vaccine reminder at NINE A.M.! Come on, guys... it's a little early to start calling people. The doctor was kind enough not to charge me when I brought my girl in with her first false pregnancy. I didn't understand why she appeared to have mammary tumors, but he said the swelling was normal (not tumors) and would subside, and it did. We do like this vet, but that voice... Eek! Seems like maybe he didn't talk as loud the second time we saw him. He just needs to keep it down. This is the South, not the North where people are obnoxiously loud. I brought my 13 year old lab in because of a rash on his side, they said it was staph and prescribed him an antibiotic. They didn't skin scrape nothing, but I trusted them because they're the professionals right? 2 weeks later, he had an open fleshy tumor on his side where the rash was and new rashes all over his poor old body. They finally did a skin scrape to grow a culture bc they now assumed it was ring worm. They also stuck a needle in the tumor and said they did a biopsy but it came back clear of cancer cells. A month and a half later, already having been on an atifungual specifically for ringworm, he's now wayyyy worse with open sores covering him from head to toe and more huge tumors. I was fed up and called another vet. When he saw him, right away he said that is wasn't ringworm and actually did a thorough hands on evaluation. It's not freaking ringworm it's freaking cancer and blastomycosis, a type of fungal infection that's in ZERO WAYS SIMILAR to ringworm. All of which are now so far advanced we have to PUT HIM DOWN. On top of that my new vet found a biopsy was NEVER DONE. This clinic has basically killed my dog. I'm so heartbroken and angry that these people have taken away my furbaby I can't see straight. I think this is the best veterinary clinic in Cleveland. They have remodeled this location from what seemed to be a trailer years ago into this fancy building. They have improved everything you can think of.The service is absolutely remarkable if you call ahead and make a reservation the day before. They will even say across the intercom your pets name. For example, "Milton" is ready for exam room one. Then, an assistant will come out and ask your pets name which is of course "Milton". They know what they are doing as they gave me all the answers I was looking for. I could give all of them a hug because I left very happy from the care my pet received.  Milton deserves to all the can cat food and a special place at the foot of my bed tonight. Read Less
