They are about theAll Mighty dollar. I took my 12 year old cat to them today to have him put down. He has gone from 12 lbs to 4.5 lbs in 3 months. WITHOUT the vet even looking at him the aide informed me it could be thyroid, diabetes, etc. His kidneys have shut down. He eats and then throws up immediately. I brought him home to die a slow, painful death. All I wanted was to put him out of his misery. They only wanted to do me like they did my sister when her dog Gracie was dying of cancer. She ended up spending over $2000 before she refused to give them anymore except a euthanasing fee. Then and only then did they put her down. They do not care about our animals they are only interested in lining their pockets! I miss Dr. Butler!! Read Less

This is my first negative review ever. It been in my head for almost three years now. I've had to "putdown" three dogs. One was years ago done by a very loving Vet who came to our home and did everything he could for the humans and the dog. The last two were two weeks apart. The first one woke up one morning and had had a stroke during the night. She couldn't even walk. The Vet gave her a shot to relax her and then waited for that to kick in and then gave her the IV that let her go. The last one was different. She had cancer in her stomach. We did all we could but it was time. We called the last place we took our second dog to and they were busy and couldn't do it so we took our dog here. When you are involved it this terrible process of putting your dog down, you need guidance. You're not an expert in the most human way to do this. The person who put Whitney down here didn't give her a shot to relax her. The just started to insert the IV. They stabbed and stabbed her leg trying to get a vein. She cried and cried while they stabbed her. She was bleeding and suffering the whole time. It killed us. Like I said before. This has been almost three years ago now. I've given it time. I'm not two days out and grieving. I regret allowing this person to touch my dog. My do was named Whitney Bell. She was named after the Vet that put our first dog down. There's more human ways to put an animal down. The way it was done here haunts my dreams. It was done in April three years ago. The owners of this place need to look into their records and learn from this mistake. I don't think the person who did it was trying to purposely hurt my dog but they should have given her a shot to relax her. Make it your policy. It was done in April three years ago. She didn't have to die like that. Toney Stevens Read Less

I took my cat there instead of their office in Norris because it's closer. The woman at the front desk was rude. She acted like she thought I was lying about Baby being up to date on her shots. The Dr. wasn't any better. My cat is very skiddish. She is afraid of strangers and I explained that to her. Instead of coaxing her out of the carrier, the vet picked it up and turned it up on it's side and dumped my cat out in the floor! She didn't even examine her. Baby was afraid of her after being shook out on the floor. This woman acted like she had no clue how to treat an animal. Baby smacked at her when she tried to pick her up and this 'vet' didn't try to calm her down or even attempt to soothe her. She didn't examine her and when I was trying to discuss having some test done on Baby so she could be treated for anxiety, she blew me off and wouldn't discuss it with me. Needless to say, I haven't taken Baby or my other cat back there and I won't. That was the worst animal clinic I have ever been to! The women who work there seriously need to find another line of work.Read Less

Recently brought two newly adopted cats there on separate visits. I chose this hospital because the shelter told me that they had done a couple of surgeries on one of my adopted cats and already knew her situation and had all her records, so I decided to bring her and the new kitten here. They were all wonderful, from the front desk staff to the techs to the doctor who treated both my pets. The staff remembered one of my adopted cats by name, from the surgery she had when she was at the shelter and they went out of their way to greet her. The prices were reasonable. I'm in my fifties and have always had pets--so I've been taking pets to a vet once a year or more for over thirty years. This is simply what it costs, and this hospital is certainly not the most expensive. The staff is really warm and caring, which is really important. I'm glad I took the shelter's recommendation to keep bringing the older cat here. Read Less

I saw the reviews online showing they are reasonably priced and they are until you find the surprise hidden costs. I was told one price for a treatment for my pet and was charged almost double for the treatment with surprise hidden treatments they did not tell me upfront were required for my the surgery for my pet. Then not only that, but I knew my pet had worms and asked them to check. They told me that they could not get a stool sample, but when I picked up my pet he had worms coming out of his rectum. The surgery may have been done excellently, but when I get charged almost double and told they cannot find worms when you can clearly see them is absolutely absurd. I will not be coming back here ever again. Read Less

The most compassionate and loving vets and techs I have ever met. Yesterday my dog was hit, intentionally, by a truck. I rushed him to the Clinton office and in all the stress from the situation I looked my keys in the car with my poor injured Snoopy inside. The vets, other staff, and some great guys that were clients helped get my doors unlocked to get him out. They took him back and operated immediately even tho it was after closing time! Most vets would have sent me to a ER, which would have cost 4 times more. They took great care of him and this morning we picked him up and brought him home. He has a long rode to go but with their care I know he will be ok. Thank you so much!! Read Less

Office staff was really nice and helpful. But the worst grooming job I have ever seen. We asked for a short cut but Princess was nearly shaved nor is it even. She looks like a homeless and pitiful dog. She didn't like it there as she was more than ready to leave when picked up. Won't be going back there for grooming again. Read Less

Read Less

I noticed a lot of you seem to have problems with the costs, but TRUST ME the pricing is very reasonable in comparison to other vets. I went to Village Veterinarian, located in farragut, and they quoted $1200 and possibly up to $1500 for oral surgery to remove two of my cats teeth and to laser off a gingivitis mass. Clinton Animal Hospital quoted me about $300.

Read Less
