I've never been here for veterinary care so I can't attest to that (hence the 4 stars, it's not any deficit on their part) but I boarded animals here when I was out of town and they are lovely. they are accommodating of more than just dogs and cats - they can also handle birds, at least for boarding. they followed the particular care instructions they were given and were very kind to my critters while they were there. I'd recommend them for boarding, and if that ethic extends to their medical care I can only assume they are great vets as well.

My dog had mucous/bloody diarrhea, doctor tells me for them to figure it out it would be $12-$1500 to find out What's wrong. Then to scare me, I guess because I'm a single female, the doctor decides to throw out she probably has lymphoma. Went to a specialist today, basically EVERY SINGLE THING THE ORIGINAL DOCTOR SAID WAS INCORRECT. The doctor also so there are absolutely no signs of lymphoma or anything else more serious, and that this vet A. Took me for my money, B. Just intentionally tried to scare me so I would pay the $12-$1500 for tests that may OR may NOT figure something out. Absolutely never ever going to them again. Also I tried to get on a payment plan because it was an urgent situation, they not only never called to verify they could run my card, but ran it 3 times and made my bank account go into the negative. I warn anyone who goes there. Honestly. They just try to scare you on purpose to make more money.

We had been taking our dogs here for a few years and never had problems. The last time there we took our girl in to get anal glands expressed along with a bath and a refill on meds but was told she had to have "blood work." She wasn't ready after I called about picking her up. She had been there for hours. It's not like she was being groomed. When my husband arrived to pick her up she still wasn't ready. He was told she was still wet. My husband said it didn't matter. When she came out she wasn't wet. Then he was presented with huge bill. We had to pay to get our dog. When questioned about the bill and the procedure that was done on her they said the doctor would call. Dr. Sanders called and yelled at my husband and even involved my husband's job! We felt that we should have been told that it wasn't just going to be blood work alone and the cost would've been very helpful. He was extremely rude! He told my he would refund the amount with a check that I had to pick up and to go find another vet. He refunded the money but actually overcharged us for the anal glands and bath but I didn't question him because obviously he doesn't like to be questioned on his billing. I'm not sure what was going on at this clinic during this episode. Maybe there were some issues they were all dealing with and we just got caught up in it because we had never had a problem before. We normally saw Dr. Warren. Super nice doctor. Oh well.

I went here and was charged exuberant prices for minimium servives and given prices for a simple test to check for FIV when other places would do the same test and services for a fration of the price, and didnt even bother to clean or bandage my cat's wounded foot from a torn claw when all sites say a vet should bandage it, even a simple neutering can be done else where for half the cost

The costs of services are reasonable and the packages they offer really help you to save a few dollars which is always a good thing.

This was our first time boarding our pet during our vacation....I researched & researched. I picked Cordova Station because it was close to our home & they would board him, update our dog on his shots...
This was our first time boarding our pet during our vacation....I researched & researched. I picked Cordova Station because it was close to our home & they would board him, update our dog on his shots&give him a bath..all while we where gone for 5 days. PERFECT RIGHT!? NOT!...they did not give him a bath because he wouldn't sit still.... (but how did u give him shots if he wouldn't sit still)...they charged us for an exam by the doctor..but the doctor couldn't give him the exam??? (Why were we charged for it then??)..They told us that they tried to call us to inform us & they even tried to leave a message...which was an untruth! I left 4 numbers in case they needed us....they say they called 1 but didnt get an anwser???Really??? They are full of it!!! I calmly asked to speak with the doctor at the suggestion of the front desk clerk....she put us in a room to wait. 7mins later..another young lady comes in to tell us that the doctor wouldn't be able to see us for another 45mins or so.. (Great doctor patient relationship right) He didnt even try say hello ..walked right passed us.....So would I recommend Cordova Station. .No! The front desk lady was cool!...it wasn't her fault. They are liars point blank period.!! They didn't even try to fix the situation...but they got my 332.00 though.

I love Drs. Warner and Sanders, as well as their awesome staff. The front desk ladies as well as the technicians have always been so interested and compassionate and loving with my animals. It is truly heartwarming to be in the company of people who love and care for animals; you just get the sense you're in good company and in good hands at this clinic. Not to mention, Dr. Warner showed endless concern and patience with a very rare and difficult birth defect my kitten has. He researched on his own time and has done endless follow-up care and procedures to help my little guy. I owe him beyond what he charges in bills (which, honestly, are very reasonable). He had me feel my dogs bones and showed me some helpful websites to research my options. I really felt involved. He recommended various options which I mistakenly agreed to. When I got the bill I wanted to kick myself. I wish they would tell you the cost of each test before running them. I paid 3x what I thought it may cost in my head. $50 for an office visit and $40 for each shot. I thought he was only going to give her one shot but it was two. My pocketbook is crying.

I expected to hear bad news due to my dog's age, however, Dr. Sanders provided several alternatives which are resulting in a better outcome (and aren't obliterating the budget). I'll definitely be taking my dog back when needed.

CSAH--This veterinarian hospital is nothing short of perfect professionalism. I have had many many animals in my life and they are and have been my kids. I give them the best treatment around and that is Cordova Station. Dr Warner and Dr Sanders are excellent and truly care about your pets! They give you the time that you need to answer all questions you may have about your "kids"! They offer everything I need in vet services and one of the services I can find there is cat grooming. This is hard to find. My cat has a hair condition and Dominick is an excellent groomer not only with one of my cats but my dogs as well. The office and tech staff care about your needs and the needs of your pet. Marcia greets me each time and is awesome. She absolutely LOVES her job!! She is very professional and can handle any situation that may arise. When I call she gladly handles my concerns and relays them to the doctors, who in turn call me with the answers to my questions prepared. Over the years I have had health problems with 2 of my animals and everyone there including Marcia has been there time after time for the good and the bad!! When I go in I know that they are my friends. Marcia knows me when I call without telling her my name which makes you feel confident that you have chosen the right place to take my pets. When I go in I could and usually do spend time chatting with everyone there...including doctors when they aren't too busy. People who complain about this clinic--ESPECIALLY MARCIA and complain about ANY nickel and diming (which is simply not true because you are informed of all charges and they will even call you if you have to leave your pet) must not be concerned about the best care around for their pet. Dominic has groomed my Scottish terrier for eight years and has exceeded my expectations every time. People frequently stop us on the street wanting to know who groomed him! I wouldn't take my animals to anyone else. Dominic grooms my three cats also and they are always fabulous! And cats are not easy to wash. I think it says something about Dominic that all my animals come home happy and PERFECTLY groomed. He is unfailingly kind to all his fur face clients and he even gave me a tour of his work area. Dominic, thank you for always treating members of my family as if they were your own.

Took my 12 year old Terrier to Dominick for grooming for the first time on 9/14/12. BIG MISTAKTE!!! Groomer did NOT do as I requested and had the worst communication/customer service skills I have ever encountered. I have lived in 3 large cities (Nashville, Charlotte, and Dallas) and have had my dog groomed at many, many locations in the past 12 years and this was by far the worst groom/cut. I made a complaint to the Manager of the clinic and she stated there was nothing she could do as he is an "independent." At which time the groomer abruptly came out from the back area and started yelling at me in the lobby stating "he did me a favor grooming my dog." Really?? After paying him $51.00? He seriously has some problems. If this is the way he treats his customers, how does he treat the animals??

I took my 12 year old Terrier Fitch to be groomed by Dominick at Cordova Station Animal Hospital for the first time yesterday... BIG MISTAKE!!! When I called to make an appointment last week, I was told drop off was between 7:30-8:30 am. When I arrived at 8:15, I was told Dominick would not be in until at least 11am. What? So my dog was supposed to sit around in a cage for almost 3 hours waiting on the groomer to arrive?? I don't think so. No explanation was given other than his arriving times vary day to day. What I should have done at this point was leave with my dog and have him groomed elsewhere. But I had taken the day off work and wanted to get this done so I left him to be groomed. Also, per Dominick's request, I left a written detailed description of how I wanted my dog groomed. This was a total waste of time as he did not follow any of my instructions/requests at all. He provided a basic trim at best and called me at 12:30pm to tell me he was ready for pickup. In the 12 yrs of owning my dog and having him groomed at multiple locations in 3 different cities I know there is no way 1 person can do a complete and thorough bath + groom in less than 2 hours. I was already expecting the worse before I arrived. When I got there, the receptionist stated she would go to the back and bring him to the counter. When she returned, I was shocked to see my requests were not done. She stated I needed to pay $51.00 instead of the $45.00 I was quoted even though a nail trim and anal gland expression was not done or needed. This seemed unfair. I asked to speak to the groomer and he came out to the lobby and started yelling at me stating he had done me a favor by grooming my dog in the first place and he was NOT going to do anymore with him. Really? Where did they get this guy??? I was told California. Maybe that explains some of it and maybe he needs to go back there because he had the worst attitude I have ever encountered at ANY business in my lifetime of 41 yrs. His communication skills and personal attitude were ARGUMENTATIVE and NASTY and Cordova Station Animal Hospital should be ashamed to be associated with this individual. I will be sure to share my experience with this place with every dog owner I know. If he treats his customers this way it makes you really wonder how does he treat the animals???

The warmth and kindness you and your pet are greeted with cannot be beat. I recently moved to memphis with my 16 year old dog and was very hesitant about bringing him to a new place and doctor. However, my worries were vanished due to the professional and wonderfully friendly staff. My dog started encountering a lot of problems and when it was time to say goodbye, I could not have asked to be in a better place- where he and I were both taken care of in that time of need. Through the duration of my beloved dog's life, I have never felt more confident about decisions than I have made than when I was at Cordova Station Animal Hospital. Dr. Warner is amazingly caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and kind. The staff as a whole was always accommodating, welcoming and extremely thoughtful. I highly suggest that if you have a pet, you take him or her there. You will only be delighted with the environment and the highest quality of care your pet could get.

They treat my dog, Bailey, as if she were their own and she is NEVER scared when she gets there! "THAT" says a lot in my book! Bailey also loves the groomer, Dominick, and I can say I do too! Best Vets EVER!!! I was visiting my mother in Memphis and my dog was pretty ill. The entire staff was so helpful & kind. The dr took time to fully explain my dogs condition and left me with no questions- i never felt rushed. All in all we were there for awhile, not waiting but being seen and my dog being treated. Even Luke helped take care of my dog!They also do grooming and by the looks of the ones I saw coming out they do a great job.I am so happy we choose to go here. I will be planing my visits to my mom to make sure I can use Cordova Station Animal Hospital from now on.

I love this vet's office. Dr. Sanders and Dr Warner are so kind, caring and patient. They give you lots of time and are very knowledgeable. I take both of my dogs here and they have provided wonderful service. I have a small breed puppy and an older beagle. The beagle has a few health issues and they are so patient and good with her. She get's very nervous in any vet's office but not so much here I also have my dogs groomed here and Dominic is the best. I love the staff and am so happy I found this vet. Their prices are reasonable and I know that my dogs are in great hands.

I've never been here for veterinary care so I can't attest to that (hence the 4 stars, it's not any deficit on their part) but I boarded animals here when I was out of town and they are lovely. they are accommodating of more than just dogs and cats - they can also handle birds, at least for boarding. they followed the particular care instructions they were given and were very kind to my critters while they were there. I'd recommend them for boarding, and if that ethic extends to their medical care I can only assume they are great vets as well.

My dog had mucous/bloody diarrhea, doctor tells me for them to figure it out it would be $12-$1500 to find out What's wrong. Then to scare me, I guess because I'm a single female, the doctor decides to throw out she probably has lymphoma. Went to a specialist today, basically EVERY SINGLE THING THE ORIGINAL DOCTOR SAID WAS INCORRECT. The doctor also so there are absolutely no signs of lymphoma or anything else more serious, and that this vet A. Took me for my money, B. Just intentionally tried to scare me so I would pay the $12-$1500 for tests that may OR may NOT figure something out. Absolutely never ever going to them again. Also I tried to get on a payment plan because it was an urgent situation, they not only never called to verify they could run my card, but ran it 3 times and made my bank account go into the negative. I warn anyone who goes there. Honestly. They just try to scare you on purpose to make more money.

We had been taking our dogs here for a few years and never had problems. The last time there we took our girl in to get anal glands expressed along with a bath and a refill on meds but was told she had to have "blood work." She wasn't ready after I called about picking her up. She had been there for hours. It's not like she was being groomed. When my husband arrived to pick her up she still wasn't ready. He was told she was still wet. My husband said it didn't matter. When she came out she wasn't wet. Then he was presented with huge bill. We had to pay to get our dog. When questioned about the bill and the procedure that was done on her they said the doctor would call. Dr. Sanders called and yelled at my husband and even involved my husband's job! We felt that we should have been told that it wasn't just going to be blood work alone and the cost would've been very helpful. He was extremely rude! He told my he would refund the amount with a check that I had to pick up and to go find another vet. He refunded the money but actually overcharged us for the anal glands and bath but I didn't question him because obviously he doesn't like to be questioned on his billing. I'm not sure what was going on at this clinic during this episode. Maybe there were some issues they were all dealing with and we just got caught up in it because we had never had a problem before. We normally saw Dr. Warren. Super nice doctor. Oh well.

I picked Cordova Station because it was close to our home & they would board him, update our dog on his shots&give him a bath..all while we where gone for 5 days. PERFECT RIGHT!? NOT!...they did not give him a bath because he wouldn't sit still.... (but how did u give him shots if he wouldn't sit still)...they charged us for an exam by the doctor..but the doctor couldn't give him the exam??? (Why were we charged for it then??)..They told us that they tried to call us to inform us & they even tried to leave a message...which was an untruth! I left 4 numbers in case they needed us....they say they called 1 but didnt get an anwser???Really??? They are full of it!!! I calmly asked to speak with the doctor at the suggestion of the front desk clerk....she put us in a room to wait. 7mins later..another young lady comes in to tell us that the doctor wouldn't be able to see us for another 45mins or so.. (Great doctor patient relationship right) He didnt even try say hello ..walked right passed us.....So would I recommend Cordova Station. .No! The front desk lady was cool!...it wasn't her fault. They are liars point blank period.!! They didn't even try to fix the situation...but they got my 332.00 though.

I love Drs. Warner and Sanders, as well as their awesome staff. The front desk ladies as well as the technicians have always been so interested and compassionate and loving with my animals. It is truly heartwarming to be in the company of people who love and care for animals; you just get the sense you're in good company and in good hands at this clinic. Not to mention, Dr. Warner showed endless concern and patience with a very rare and difficult birth defect my kitten has. He researched on his own time and has done endless follow-up care and procedures to help my little guy. I owe him beyond what he charges in bills (which, honestly, are very reasonable). He had me feel my dogs bones and showed me some helpful websites to research my options. I really felt involved. He recommended various options which I mistakenly agreed to. When I got the bill I wanted to kick myself. I wish they would tell you the cost of each test before running them. I paid 3x what I thought it may cost in my head. $50 for an office visit and $40 for each shot. I thought he was only going to give her one shot but it was two. My pocketbook is crying.

I expected to hear bad news due to my dog's age, however, Dr. Sanders provided several alternatives which are resulting in a better outcome (and aren't obliterating the budget). CSAH--This veterinarian hospital is nothing short of perfect professionalism. I have had many many animals in my life and they are and have been my kids. I give them the best treatment around and that is Cordova Station. Dr Warner and Dr Sanders are excellent and truly care about your pets! They give you the time that you need to answer all questions you may have about your "kids"! They offer everything I need in vet services and one of the services I can find there is cat grooming. This is hard to find. My cat has a hair condition and Dominick is an excellent groomer not only with one of my cats but my dogs as well. The office and tech staff care about your needs and the needs of your pet. Marcia greets me each time and is awesome. She absolutely LOVES her job!! She is very professional and can handle any situation that may arise. When I call she gladly handles my concerns and relays them to the doctors, who in turn call me with the answers to my questions prepared. Over the years I have had health problems with 2 of my animals and everyone there including Marcia has been there time after time for the good and the bad!! When I go in I know that they are my friends. Marcia knows me when I call without telling her my name which makes you feel confident that you have chosen the right place to take my pets. When I go in I could and usually do spend time chatting with everyone there...including doctors when they aren't too busy. People who complain about this clinic--ESPECIALLY MARCIA and complain about ANY nickel and diming (which is simply not true because you are informed of all charges and they will even call you if you have to leave your pet) must not be concerned about the best care around for their pet. Dominic has groomed my Scottish terrier for eight years and has exceeded my expectations every time. People frequently stop us on the street wanting to know who groomed him! I wouldn't take my animals to anyone else. Dominic grooms my three cats also and they are always fabulous! And cats are not easy to wash. I think it says something about Dominic that all my animals come home happy and PERFECTLY groomed. He is unfailingly kind to all his fur face clients and he even gave me a tour of his work area. Dominic, thank you for always treating members of my family as if they were your own.

Took my 12 year old Terrier to Dominick for grooming for the first time on 9/14/12. BIG MISTAKTE!!! Groomer did NOT do as I requested and had the worst communication/customer service skills I have ever encountered. I have lived in 3 large cities (Nashville, Charlotte, and Dallas) and have had my dog groomed at many, many locations in the past 12 years and this was by far the worst groom/cut. I made a complaint to the Manager of the clinic and she stated there was nothing she could do as he is an "independent." At which time the groomer abruptly came out from the back area and started yelling at me in the lobby stating "he did me a favor grooming my dog." Really?? After paying him $51.00? He seriously has some problems. If this is the way he treats his customers, how does he treat the animals??

I took my 12 year old Terrier Fitch to be groomed by Dominick at Cordova Station Animal Hospital for the first time yesterday... BIG MISTAKE!!! When I called to make an appointment last week, I was told drop off was between 7:30-8:30 am. When I arrived at 8:15, I was told Dominick would not be in until at least 11am. What? So my dog was supposed to sit around in a cage for almost 3 hours waiting on the groomer to arrive?? I don't think so. No explanation was given other than his arriving times vary day to day. What I should have done at this point was leave with my dog and have him groomed elsewhere. But I had taken the day off work and wanted to get this done so I left him to be groomed. Also, per Dominick's request, I left a written detailed description of how I wanted my dog groomed. This was a total waste of time as he did not follow any of my instructions/requests at all. He provided a basic trim at best and called me at 12:30pm to tell me he was ready for pickup. In the 12 yrs of owning my dog and having him groomed at multiple locations in 3 different cities I know there is no way 1 person can do a complete and thorough bath + groom in less than 2 hours. I was already expecting the worse before I arrived. When I got there, the receptionist stated she would go to the back and bring him to the counter. When she returned, I was shocked to see my requests were not done. She stated I needed to pay $51.00 instead of the $45.00 I was quoted even though a nail trim and anal gland expression was not done or needed. This seemed unfair. I asked to speak to the groomer and he came out to the lobby and started yelling at me stating he had done me a favor by grooming my dog in the first place and he was NOT going to do anymore with him. Really? Where did they get this guy??? I was told California. Maybe that explains some of it and maybe he needs to go back there because he had the worst attitude I have ever encountered at ANY business in my lifetime of 41 yrs. His communication skills and personal attitude were ARGUMENTATIVE and NASTY and Cordova Station Animal Hospital should be ashamed to be associated with this individual. I will be sure to share my experience with this place with every dog owner I know. If he treats his customers this way it makes you really wonder how does he treat the animals???

The warmth and kindness you and your pet are greeted with cannot be beat. I recently moved to memphis with my 16 year old dog and was very hesitant about bringing him to a new place and doctor. However, my worries were vanished due to the professional and wonderfully friendly staff. My dog started encountering a lot of problems and when it was time to say goodbye, I could not have asked to be in a better place- where he and I were both taken care of in that time of need. Through the duration of my beloved dog's life, I have never felt more confident about decisions than I have made than when I was at Cordova Station Animal Hospital. Dr. Warner is amazingly caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and kind. The staff as a whole was always accommodating, welcoming and extremely thoughtful. I highly suggest that if you have a pet, you take him or her there. You will only be delighted with the environment and the highest quality of care your pet could get.

Best Vets EVER!!! I was visiting my mother in Memphis and my dog was pretty ill. The entire staff was so helpful & kind. The dr took time to fully explain my dogs condition and left me with no questions- i never felt rushed. All in all we were there for awhile, not waiting but being seen and my dog being treated. Even Luke helped take care of my dog!They also do grooming and by the looks of the ones I saw coming out they do a great job.I am so happy we choose to go here. I will be planing my visits to my mom to make sure I can use Cordova Station Animal Hospital from now on.

I take both of my dogs here and they have provided wonderful service. I have a small breed puppy and an older beagle. The beagle has a few health issues and they are so patient and good with her. She get's very nervous in any vet's office but not so much here I also have my dogs groomed here and Dominic is the best. I love the staff and am so happy I found this vet. Their prices are reasonable and I know that my dogs are in great hands.
