When moving to a new city, finding a vet has been a bit stressful in the past. Not in Memphis! Dr. Zinkus is so kind and knowledgeable! The staff is great - my dogs enjoy all the attention!

We used Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital for several years until my pets passed. They are kind, conscientious, and very caring about the welfare of the animals and families they serve. They went out of their way to assist us when 2 of our pets passed within a year. We were very pleased with Dr. Zinkus.

I had to take my dog in for his very last ever vet visit. It was an extremely HARD thing for me to have to do. I will forever remember the doctors and nurses there. I will use them forever for ANY and all my future pets. And highly recommend them to anyone who wants someone to actually bond and understand you and your pet and the relationship you have with them. Sadly we had to put our almost 16 year old Border Collie to sleep yesterday. Dr. Romines was extremely kind and caring throughout the process. We will be forever grateful.

Friendly and nice but they dismissed a huge aggressive tumor on my dog's side and said he was instead very suddenly limping because of arthritis. Gave an anti-inflammatory Rx with no instructions about it causing diarrhea and upset stomach. Wanted over $200 for simple x-rays and wouldn't do it without sedation!
Got a 2nd opinion from another vet the next day and they were very concerned that this vet had overlooked the baseball sized tumor by his heart that was dissolving his ribs and causing enormous pain. Those x-rays cost much less and didn't require sedating a sick old dog.
I would not recommend this vet to anyone.

Yesterday Dr. Zinkus made it possible to come in, before the Memorial Day holiday, when it was Dillen's time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Have groomed our beautiful,sweet large dog for a couple of years here! Recently, the grooming has been awful! They require our large dog to be dropped off before 7:30 or 8:00 am. Our large dog is in a cage from 8:00 until 4:00! Every Time I get her groom it's a different price. This past time, they charged me 25.00 more. Upon questioning why, the very grouchy groomer comes out to the front and lectures me,(the paying customer) about her matted hair! Her beautiful coat has been the same every time I take her regularly to be groomed. Yes she has the type of coat that matts easily and always has! When I get home, I notice her hair is not cut evenly and she has cut marks all over her under carriage....I paid 90.00 and I got lectured! Don't go there!

I love this clinic and my vet, Dr. Angie Zinkus. Everyone is so sweet and they talk to my dogs, which always makes me happy.
Angie is young, but don't let age fool you. She's one of the best vets I've ever used. She takes time to explain complicated information and will give you printouts from reputable veterinary sites that explains the information, which saves me from the million hits on Google.
All of the vets there and the staff are compassionate and friendly. I recommend the clinic to everyone, but I'm partial to my vet. If you're looking for a vet, go to Dr. Z. Let me know what you think.

Update 1/24: I've seen 3 vets here, Zinkus is my favorite, also like the other two gentlemen vets. All are nice and seem knowledgeable and handle my kitties gently including the vet assistants. -------------Awesomely nice doctor. He seemed honest and genuine. But after spending a mini fortune on xrays and having several of my cat's teeth extracted, she still has the same symptoms and issues. I cant afford to take her back, so I'm just going to hope for the best.

We used Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital for several years until my pets passed. They are kind, conscientious, and very caring about the welfare of the animals and families they serve. Friendly and nice but they dismissed a huge aggressive tumor on my dog's side and said he was instead very suddenly limping because of arthritis. Gave an anti-inflammatory Rx with no instructions about it causing diarrhea and upset stomach. Wanted over $200 for simple x-rays and wouldn't do it without sedation!

Angie is young, but don't let age fool you. She's one of the best vets I've ever used. She takes time to explain complicated information and will give you printouts from reputable veterinary sites that explains the information, which saves me from the million hits on Google.
