Very good vets here. A little more expensive than petvax but you get more comprehensive care.

Took my cat in to get her yearly vaccinations and was told that she had a heart murmur. The female vet then went on to tell me about how my cat could drop dead at any minute from it. I asked what we needed to do and she started going on about process of expensive machinery to run tests saying that it would be a couple thousand dollars. I obviously couldn't afford that. I left and took her to another vet to get a second opinion and they told me that she did not have a heart murmur at all. Called Walnut trace to get the records of my pets and they had me come in to look at her again. This time a older male vet examined her and her stupid by the other and said that there was a murmur. She's now been to multiple other vets and they all have said that Walnut trace is trying to milk money out of scared owners. I will never return. The first time I went I had a different female vet insist on declawing my cat and was very pushy when I refused. SMH. Read Less

Pissed!!!! Previous groomer Kathy was amazing, my 1st dog and current dog always looked great and smelled so clean. New groomer SUCKS and had the nerve to raise the price. I don't mind paying more if the services match. 2nd time she has shaved my dog when 1/2 inch was requested off of my furball and he still smells like he needs a bath AGAIN. LAST TIME I TOOK HIM BACK FOR THE SAME REASON. I hate to leave b/c everyone else is so GREAT but $48 for a Shih Tzu puppy and not what I requested is a NO GO. I wish someone would PLEASE tell me where Kathy went or have her contact me! Read Less

We have been taking our dog to this vet since 2009 and they are absolutely wonderful! Dr. Crocker,Tara and Robin are so compassionate and helpful and truly care about their customers. We used to live a mile up the road from them and 3 yrs ago we moved to Arlington and switched vets and immediately had to switch right back to Walnut Trace because nobody compares! We have adopted a 2nd puppy and he has his 1st appointment to see Dr. Crocker and the groomer next week! Read Less

This animal clinic will run you across the coals, financially. The female Vet who fill's in for Dr. Pinkerton (who's never there) will ask you to come back in for recheck after recheck, so they can charge more and more examination fee's. Also, test fee's that are not necessary. We've been coming there for some time, but have decided to move on to another vet, who doesn't charge so much. I guess they have to rake every customer over the coals, since they are in a small shopping center and don't have many customers. Last time we were there for an 8:30 appt, first thing after they OPENED, we had to wait, while the female vet. walked past us to go to the Walnut Grove Market (3 doors down) and came back 12 minutes later, with a biscuit and some coffee!!! We couldn't believe she would make us & our anxious pet (in need of attention,) wait for her to go get her breakfast! Read Less
