TPAC has been my veterinarian for over a year. I have boarded my dog twice here and they did great both times. After the first time I boarded him, he got sick the day after I picked him up. I called them in a panic on my way home from work minutes before they closed. The doctor told me to bring him in. We ended up being there an hour after closing. Not one time did I feel they rushing me out of there. Their top priority was making sure my sick dog was well enough to go home. We have been taking our animals here for 11 years now. They are the most kindest and loving people ever. We lost our 14 year old cat Daizee to cancer and they tried everything to save her and we appreciate them so much. We lost our 11 year old Basset Hound Chelsea a few months ago and she loved them so much. I have never seen a dog who loved to go to the vet and wanted to stay as much as she did. They loved her so much and took such good care of her. She had dementia and we were so heartbroken when we lost her and I honestly dreaded making the call to tell them we lost her because I know how much they loved her too. They take such amazing care of my 11 year old German Shepherd we have now and our 2 cats we just adopted. We wouldn't choose anyone else. They are family to us. We highly recommend them to everyone! Thankfully I found another veterinarian. I’ve been there twice with problem focused visits and each time they got me right in so as the owner of a senior dog, I felt confident about their service and regarded them as a primary doctor. Recently my dog was in distress. She had a swollen paw and had trouble putting her weight on it. I brought her in early and was told they didn’t know when they could see her. I was offered the option of leaving her there until whenever they could get to her. I explained that she was elderly and I felt that would be too stressful. While trying to decide whether to stay or leave-it was a Friday and I was concerned about alleviating the problem before the weekend in case it was an infection or foreign object- I asked a person in the office if she could help me eyeball the paw. Not for any medical advice or treatment, just as a second set of eyes to hopefully gain more insight so I could weigh the urgency. The employee declined and without any further concern, gave me an appointment for Monday. Fortunately I was able to reach a veterinarian that would see her and we were both treated with care and concern. They even offered to obtain records from her previous vet, something Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic had never offered. I felt like they were happy to have us as clients and had great relationship building skills. We’ve only been in the area a few years, but now I feel confident that we have a source of good, caring veterinary care which is important with a senior puppy. She is family and was treated that way. I’m thankful we did not have to expereince this lack of empathy and concern over a life threatening matter. My dog is well and we now have a primary care vet we have confidence in, but it was a frustrating experience. Read Less

Been with them for 10-15 yrs. Everyone from front desk staff to the Docs. are great and compassionate with both fur babies and parents. They took great care of my dear Yeager for many years and he would always be ready to "go see the girls". Glad they're in my community. Read Less

See post this morning from a lady that lost thier pet someone picked her dog out of her yard and turned it into this vet but when owner located thier lost pet they refuse to give her pup back cuz a employee wanted to keep it . Our daughter Penny introduced us to Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic. We used them for many years for routine shots and occasional medical issues. Dr. Hibbs and Dr. Smith gave Chance, our Boxer great care throughout his life. If you are looking for reliable care for your pet, we highly recommend Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic. Jan. 14, 2017 Chance crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It was very heartbreaking to have to say good-bye, but he is no longer in pain. Dr. Smith came to our home to put our beloved Chance down to rest. In my experience, when you have to put a furry friend down to rest, the vet clinic will usually send out a card with condolences. When I got a card in the mail from Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic, I was very appreciative, but not necessarily surprised. What did surprise me was a second card, written personally by Mickey's doctor. I thought this was such a kind gesture, and her words were very comforting, as they were on the day of. I'm so glad to have found such a wonderful clinic for my fur babies. Dr. Smith is my absolute favorite. I take Sparky to the vet all the time because I am "one of those dog moms." She always makes sure everything with Sparky is taken care of and is very gentle with him. When he had eye surgery she called me three times that day to let me know how he was doing. She knew I was worried sick and took time out of her busy day to ease my mind. That goes a long way with me! Read Less

Awesome care for general purpose. Nice people. Very aware of cost of care. Not impressed at their lack of research in a new breed. Even after 6 months. If you have an emergency of a serious nature just go on to the 24 hour place off Lovell. They can manage anything instead of possible waiting 2 days for a surgeon. Read Less

I grew up in the Corryton area and used Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic when I adopted my dog from the Humane Society. After they checked him after the adoption, I fell in love with the doctors and the staff. After I adopted my other dog, they both came down with Panceritis (spelling) and I thought I was going to loose them both. The doctors were AMAZING. They were so caring and even encouraged me to bring something from home to make them feel better. The vets would love on them and make sure they were comfortable. My dogs loved going to the vet because of the attention they recieved. That should say volumns. I moved to West Knoxville and still drove all the way to Corryton to go to the vet. It was well worth it. I moved to Nashville, too bad I couldn't take the Vet with me :) Read Less
