I love this place and everyone who works here! They took care of my baby after I left for vacation once and came in after hours to let me pick her up. My husband owns a business and you can't stay open allowing everyone to not pay. Trust me in the world we live in this is a common practice to collect when service is rendered. Read Less

I've been with Susan since she started her practice. She has always shown compassion, love and truth. She has taken care of my 4 dobermans, 1 siberean huskey, 2 labs and 1 white boxer and 5 cats over 25 plus years. My animals are my family. Everyone I've encountered at Stonegate are all about my babys!! I adopt alot dogs that have issues and would be put down in a normal situation. But between Susan and her staff we give these beautiful animals a guilty of life. Bless you all and thank you!! Read Less

The doctor was very compassionate but they need to learn how to conduct business when it comes to dealing with the public and payment. Animals are family members and when one passes families are in a great deal of pain and a body shouldn't be a point of contention at that given moment. I was confronted by a hostile women only a few hours after being told my companion had died. I was called a liar and told that they didn't believe we would make payment all within hours of my cat passing. They felt I wouldn't make payment and we were new to the area and I understand that part but this is not the way to go about your business if you are a professional and the front desk lady didn't help the doctor collect her money which was a total of over $1,000 in a matter of 3 days, on the 4th my cat was dead and he was checked in around 5:30 on the 10th. The fact is that we will pay the vet but we will not give her our business ever again in-spite of the fact that we liked the doctor as a person. If I were one to skip out on my bills this would certainly make me want to do so, especially since they have chosen to call me a liar and hold my cats body hostage over the last owed percentage of payment. I explained to them that both my husband and my son were not able to get there when I was, I just wanted to take my boy home and they basically spit in my face and were so rude and inconsiderate that I can not imagine how they could stay in business with this type of behavior, especially since I had to wait for this incredibly rude woman to read and answer her text messages before she was even kind enough to acknowledge my presence. They claim to be a companion hospital but in my 22 years of animal activism and service animal altruism and activism, serving as one of the lead board members in 3 service animal training and rescue groups for the blind and handicapped; I have yet to come across such a lack of compassion for even the very loss of the beautiful soul that is no longer with me much less the simple respect that should be shown to your fellow animal lover. I'm positive there are others like us out there because the aggression I just witnessed was too well polished to be something presented on the fly. Unlike most however I do have the funds to pay my bills, I certainly am less inclined to pay them anything than I was before this personal attack by the secretary. I would be very wary of leaving a loved one with people like this if I were you and I now understand the reluctance of the other local vet when we asked if these people were open the day we brought our cat in.Read Less
