We have always had good experiences with South Rhea Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and I feel like they really care about my fur babies. They are gentle and thorough when we take our babies in for check ups or sick visits. We had one puppy that had parvo and the skilled staff working there is the only reason our baby survived. They called me regularly with updates when we had to leave her a couple of days. In my opinion, they go beyond what is required to give our pets the best possible care. The people that work there are completely uninterested, unhelpful and annoyed at being there and having to be helpful, had some very very very bad experiences here, and have never even seen an actual vet. If you love your pet, do not go to this animal hospital. Seriously, don't. Read Less

Dr Nix and his staff are fabulous. They are dedicated, kind, know their stuff, and stay up to date with current veterinary practices. They also know when to say that a pet needs more care than they can provide. No, they are not the cheapest, but do you *really* want to cheap-out on medical care? I don't. They have worked with me in the past to get large bills paid. I've brought many multiples of animals to them for 10 years, and I would give them 10 stars if I could. Read Less

The staff at South Rhea have always been friendly and helpful for us and our four-legged family members. I've never had a bad experience here, but it's also not the creme de la creme of vet clinics that you might find in more affluent locations. The costs of services strike me as quite reasonable. This place is only interested in your money not you or your pet. Twice I have brought my pets here only to find out they didn't have the skills to treat my pet. BUT THEY BILLED MORE THAN $300 and sent me else where so I could pay again for the same service. Save your self time and money go somewhere else!!!!! Read Less
