I brought my cat here a week ago for a bladder issue. The vet wasn’t able to do anything for her and instead gave me a pain medication and told me to take her to my normal vet. So I spent $100 to be told to go to another vet and was given pain meds. Fast forward to today where I take my cat in to a normal vet. She was given an antibiotic shot immediately and switched to pain medication that is less inflammatory. I’m not so much disappointed in the waste of money I spent but more disappointed in the fact that I was given a generic pain medication and they were able to do anything for my cat. I will not be back here unless is a very very serious issue. Even then I might consider saving my money and waiting for my normal vet to open. Read Less

Coming from a small town without the resources nearby, I brought my dog in for an ultrasound of his heart. In town visiting family, the local vet in Mt. Juliet recommended it due to my dog’s shortness of breath. BluePearl was able to get us in on the day that we requested, only had to wait a few min past our scheduled appointment before being seen and was able to get results to our vet within a few hours. This helped a lot especially since we were heading back to SC the next day. The vet tech was really nice and made sure to explain what all was involved with the appointment. I appreciated her taking the time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs specialty medical services for their pets! Read Less

I don’t have enough great things to say about everyone at Blue Pearl in Franklin Tn. When my Duke had a lump appear and was diagnosed with lymphoma we were recommended to Dr. Lucas and I absolutely love her !!! She amazed me at her knowledge and consistent level of compassion she showed my Duke and my husband and I every visit for six months. The whole staff did. The ladies at the front desk were amazing as well. They were there for us 24 - 7 and when the horrible time came that we had lost our battle, that staff was there next to us and crying with us. I wouldn’t go somewhere that didn’t have that love and compassion for my dog or us. They prepared us for everything with very accurate information, diagnosis and billing. I never left there wondering where I stood financially or any other way along our journey. If they told me this is what it’s going to cost , it did. No surprises. One of the veterinary assistants even slept in the cage next to my Duke when he started his chemo to comfort him. You can’t ask for better than that !! How comforting for me as well when I couldn’t be in there with him. I understand that everyone has different reviews and experiences but I have nothing but good things to say about them. I love them and I hope I don’t have another one of my babies get sick but if I do they are going straight to Blue Pearl. Read Less

Our 7 year old Pomeranian was diagnosed with oral melanoma, an aggressive cancer, in late December/early January. Our vet (Southside) referred us to Dr.Lucas at bluepearl. We were frustrated by how long it took to get Jackson in to see her due to the aggressive nature of the cancer, but Dr. Lucas took excellent care of Jackson and was always in and out of the office when she was supposed to be off. She is definitely in high demand, which might have contributed to the amount of time it took to get Jackson in. It's obvious how passionate Dr. Lucas is for the animals under her care. Some staff were not always kind or helpful, but most were. The vet techs were also kind and compassionate. Yes, treatment was extremely expensive, but we would have regretted not trying at all. We made the decision to let our Jackson go peacefully in mid February. He was suffering and going downhill fast. Blue pearl was compassionate and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our Jackson. We would go there again in the future for emergency care. Read Less

My sweet kitty had labored breathing and had to spend a couple days at Blue Pearl to get better. Everyone there was so kind and loving towards her, as if she were their own. Dr. Waugh kept me updated throughout the day and this really eased my fears. She is such a BEAUTIFUL person, inside and out!! She was very sweet, compassionate and answered ALL of my questions. You can tell she really loves what she does and understands how special the bond is between people and their pets. Their entire team is dedicated and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for everything! I have nothing but good things to say about the pet dermatologist on site, Dr. Reeder! I brought in my French Bulldog after getting referred by another Frenchie owner and vet friend of mine. My dog Sebastian, a 6 month old French Bulldog, was experiencing horrible itchiness from allergies. He would scratch until he bled and was clearly extremely uncomfortable. We kept him in a t-shirt to keep him from itching himself raw. Dr. Reeder ran tests and determined that Bash was allergic to 98% of the things they tested him for. The initial testing was very expensive, but they created a specialized medicine for him and gave us instruction on how to give him shots. We noticed a difference almost immediately. He was totally transformed. Dr. Reeder explained everything to us in detail and provided great instruction. He was very caring and patient. Well worth the $ as it has completely changed Sebastian's quality of life! Read Less

My son brought in our Lab Bailey who had been hit by a car, to be given an estimate of 550.00 for X-Rays and meds. He agreed to the treatment as she yelped in pain. Only for the Dr. To come out later and say her toe was broke. And that further diagnosis (which they felt was highly important) would be 1400.00. The Dr. Saying "she needed X-rays to check for internal damage"..........Wait? What? So the initial price you gave us by a dog HIT by a truck, doesn't include Internal X-rays??!! Or a diagnosis? Just a partial Diagnosis with her leg X-rayed?? Our Dog has been hit by a truck and your priority was to X-ray her leg over immediately checking for internal injuries??? Then you return to say "by the way, if you want a full diagnosis it will be more $$ money" otherwise, we can go no further than X-raying her leg for 550.00??!!" I promise this place is not about saving or helping your animal unless their inflated pricing is met on the spot. Period !!! Read Less

My Maltepoo was bitten by our neighbor's dog and she refused to put any weight on one of her legs. Our vet couldn't get us in the same day so we went to BluePearl because I had heard great things. The staff was as nice as could be!!! The facilities were so nice. The doctor was so thorough in explaining every step of the evaluation and before they did anything they would give us a price and get our ok to proceed. I'm so glad I took her because her leg was broken. They took great care of her and we will be back if we ever need emergency care!Read Less

My husband and I had a horrible experience when taking our lab mix to Blue Pearl 3 years ago. After $2,000 in testing they said she had terminal cancer and wanted to put her down on the spot. We said NO, took her to our regular vet and he put her on medication and sent us home. The cancer went into remission because she lived for 2 1/2 more years as a healthy and active dog. Fast forward to last night and I Came home to a very sick little chihuahua. With no other option I had to call Blue Pearl where I encountered an extremely rude and hateful employee that answered the phone and was hung up on. Scared for my dogs life I jumped in the car and drove to Blue Pearl but they had moved locations. Had the rude horrible person given me the information and not hung up on me I would've driven to the CORRECT location. When I finally walked in one of the woman behind the desk proudly proclaimed that SHE was the one who hung up on me. I'm currently sitting in the lobby waiting to see what is wrong with my sweet beloved little boy. So far I've paid over $800 and they still have not figured out what is wrong with him. It's SAD that this is Pretty much the only option i have. I'm sure if anyone called a hospital or 911 in a stressful situation- they would not get HUNG UP ON. Oh and her name is LISA! She's a hateful nasty woman that works the front desk at Blue Pearl and deserves to be FIRED! She obviously has NO people skills and would serve the public better by cleaning toilets or something comparable. Read Less

Dr. Kevin Au is an phenomenal surgeon! We have now had to undergo TWO TPLO surgeries with him (our dog Gracie tore her ACL in both legs) and we felt extremely comfortable both times. After the first surgery and 4-6 week recovery she was back to her old self, running, fetching and going to dog parks. We knew when the other leg gave out we wouldn't go anywhere other than Dr. Au. Not only did he make us feel comfortable and keep us updated, but he is an extremely competent, skilled surgeon and diagnosed the ACL tear in a matter of minutes both times. If you need a great surgeon that will treat your dog like one of his own Dr. Au is definitely your guy!! Read Less

Last Tuesday was my dog's final checkup with Dr Wood.  Max, my four year old lab mix completely tore his cruciate ligament and lost the ability to use his back leg. I was apprehensive as the surgery to repair this type of injury is rather extensive.  After much research I choose Dr Wood with Blue Pearl.  She was fabulous both as a surgeon and a caring veterinarian.  I left Max with her confident that all would be okay. The staff are true professionals.  They display a caring attitude understanding a pet owners feelings.  And Max, you would never know he had a severe injury.  Blue Pearl and crew gave my dog back just as he was before the injury.  Thank you Dr Wood. Blue Pearl saved this baby's life. We went to another emergency vet in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and were basically told we had no choice but to put her down. She had developed aspiration pneumonia and was in terrible shape. We contacted Blue Pearl at 2:00 a.m., and they told us they would do everything they could do. We told them how much we love Bendi and they told us by phone that we should at least try to give her a chance. They told us to bring her on and they would prepare for her arrival and told us to call when we were close. We called and they were waiting at the door to get her and immediately took her back and gave her oxygen and began working on her. Bendi stayed for about 4 days and they released her home with a lot of meds. She just finished antibiotics yesterday and we are going to make an appointment today to return for chest x-ray. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I would highly recommend them. Every person we encountered from the receptionist, to the vet techs to the doctors were all kind and knowledgeable. In addition to all of that, they called us daily to advise us of our fur baby's condition. They even asked us to visit thinking that the visit would give Bendi the extra incentive or push to get better. That visit did give her a boost to get better. I would highly recommend Blue Pearl. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. They provide specialized human-like care for your animal. They also have state of the art equipment, specialized treatment for the animals they see and a beautiful facility. Thank you Blue Pearl, we will be forever grateful for what you did for our baby. They were great when I brought in my kitten who had been in a cat fight. It was a Sunday so of course my regular vet wasn't open. I was able to call ahead and they were even able to give me an estimate of how much it would cost. This was very helpful as this was a concern for me. I thought the price was fair and liked that it did not change from what they told me. Honestly, it was a little cheaper than if I had gone to my regular vet. Anyways, they did a great job fixing up my little kitten and didn't even have to sedate him which I thought was impressive as he was a feral kitten and very skittish. Also, they went ahead and filled separate syringes with the proper doses of medicine for each day which was the extra touch that has had me recommend this place in an emergency to all my friends with pets. They charged me over $1,100 and told me their ultrasound test showed my 7 year old Shiztzu was eat up with Cancer and she had a perforated stomach and we needed to put her down. Two days later, she finally started eating again (I had changed her food 2 weeks before and she quit eating because of that in the first place). That was 3 weeks ago, and she has been just FINE ever since. When I asked the Dr. if she still has Cancer - he said she was "rallying" and would go down hill soon and we would have to put her down. Do these folks KNOW what they are doing or not??? Read Less

I was referred to Dr. Holstie to look take on the specialized care after moving here from out of town. I found her somewhat indifferent during my first visit. She seemed more interested in speaking with me about flying to ""Palm Beach"", as she called it, Melbourne, FL to ride her horse every weekend, and how she had founded the practice and sold to the chain blue pearl, than she did discussing my dogs history or treatment plan. On my fourth visit, I was kept waiting for over an hour to discuss my pet's test results and have a bp reading. After speaking with the Director, I finally was brought in to see her. She was hostile, condescending, wouldn't listen to my questions (after I listened to her for 15 minutes, in which she called me cheap, and told me flat out that she was ""here to make money""). Keep in mind that all I had done in 4 visits is 1 blood pressure, one echogram on and a prescription. Over $1000.00 in 3 visits. She was referring my being cheap, because I had a test performed at my vet (which I was told to do if it was more convenient, closer to my house... because it had to be performed at a point in the future. The tests were sent to, and by her own acknowledgement, received by her. She said ""she didn't look at it"". Further she stated ""If I looked over all test results that are sent to me directly"" ""I would not have time to see paying patients"". OK, if I were there for charity or a free consultation I could understand. But as an established patient, providing her with ALL records from 11 years, and it being my FOURTH appointment, I felt as though she should at least be curious or willing to look at the tests. This was a simple blood panel... She stated ""My patients need to pay for the test here and pay me to review it. The test was performed by the vet who REFERRED me to her. I was treated like I was a deadbeat, keep in mind she was always paid in full after every visit. Clearly her Oath means nothing. I have never experienced such an offensive uncaring health provider.I did not know that pigs rode horses. Read Less

I feel that this place is most concerned with making money. The Doctor we saw was overactive and dramatic. I felt that she was trying to play on our emotions in an urgent situation to line their pockets. She was eager to run as many test as possible and then insisted she stay over night with an IV. She even went as far as to suggest we start her on a toxic and life altering medication for a completely separate issue that I didn't even bring her in for and that my normal vet had advised me not to do. She also did not even offer pricing until I asked and then acted as if I were a bad owner for not being okay with paying for things she did not need. My dog has these issues frequently and the treatment my local vet gives is very accurate and effective each time. That is how I know this doctor was way off. She seemed very inexperienced. I have seen several bad reviews on this place and a few that say they pay commission to doctors which means they make more money the more services they sell. The wait and time we spent for what little we had done seemed unnecessary. I will not being going back. Should have read the reviews first! Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I brought my cat in with an abscess. She was in severe pain, but the vet waited nearly an hour before giving her a sedative and then only b/c I demanded it. The staff was unresponsive when I heard my cat screaming. They refused to let her see me although I told them she was a rescue cat and very nervous around strangers. There were no other emergency pets present, and I still waited over 3 hours! The vet refused to give me a copy of the records for my insurance (They said they would fax them ""in a few days."") They also had two toxic plants in the lobby where pets wait. Either they are incompetent or just don't care about animals. I shudder to think how they treat pets whose owners don't wait in the lobby and demand to know what's going on! Horrible, horrible people. Take your vet here only as a last resort. Read Less

I tend to agree that money matters more than good care. After going here I had friends tell me they were sorry I had not called them first. They said this place use to be the place to go, but has changed management several times now. The staff was nice, but no one will ever convince me the vet did a thorough exam or that anyone even looked at my dog during the overnight stay. Had anyone taken five minutes with him, they would have seen that he was having severe muscle tremors when he tried to stand on his hind legs for more than three minutes. I had to take him to a second emergency room in Murfreesboro where the vet LISTENED to my dog's history of leg problems and let me watch as he examined my pet. As I said the staff was very nice and the place very clean, but they made me think I was crazy and that ice cream in not cold. Pets and their owners deserve better care, especially in a time of crisis. Read Less

The worst experience I have had in my life with a vet. My yorkie was deathly ill. Every person within this facility was very unpersonable and not particularly animal loving. There was a very clinical atmosphere and demeanor. I allowed them to treat my dog due to the fact that they were the only after hours facility around (and their number was posted on my vets after hour message). The worst mistake I ever made and I will NEVER forgive myself. They ended up treating my dog for something that was NOT an issue for him. They performed a serious procedure on an already sick animal, making it worse. Their bottom line is making a buck and that is it!!! After repeatedly contacting the owner all I got was ""the runaround"". Since then I have vowed to detour as many as possible from making the same mistake I did. MY vet even said the x-rays the place took were no good to diagnose the issue. PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from this place. Read Less

Coming from a small town without the resources nearby, I brought my dog in for an ultrasound of his heart. In town visiting family, the local vet in Mt. Juliet recommended it due to my dog’s shortness of breath. BluePearl was able to get us in on the day that we requested, only had to wait a few min past our scheduled appointment before being seen and was able to get results to our vet within a few hours. This helped a lot especially since we were heading back to SC the next day. The vet tech was really nice and made sure to explain what all was involved with the appointment. I don’t have enough great things to say about everyone at Blue Pearl in Franklin Tn. When my Duke had a lump appear and was diagnosed with lymphoma we were recommended to Dr. Lucas and I absolutely love her !!! She amazed me at her knowledge and consistent level of compassion she showed my Duke and my husband and I every visit for six months. The whole staff did. The ladies at the front desk were amazing as well. They were there for us 24 - 7 and when the horrible time came that we had lost our battle, that staff was there next to us and crying with us. I wouldn’t go somewhere that didn’t have that love and compassion for my dog or us. They prepared us for everything with very accurate information, diagnosis and billing. I never left there wondering where I stood financially or any other way along our journey. If they told me this is what it’s going to cost , it did. No surprises. One of the veterinary assistants even slept in the cage next to my Duke when he started his chemo to comfort him. You can’t ask for better than that !! How comforting for me as well when I couldn’t be in there with him. I understand that everyone has different reviews and experiences but I have nothing but good things to say about them. Our 7 year old Pomeranian was diagnosed with oral melanoma, an aggressive cancer, in late December/early January. Our vet (Southside) referred us to Dr.Lucas at bluepearl. We were frustrated by how long it took to get Jackson in to see her due to the aggressive nature of the cancer, but Dr. Lucas took excellent care of Jackson and was always in and out of the office when she was supposed to be off. She is definitely in high demand, which might have contributed to the amount of time it took to get Jackson in. It's obvious how passionate Dr. Lucas is for the animals under her care. Some staff were not always kind or helpful, but most were. The vet techs were also kind and compassionate. Yes, treatment was extremely expensive, but we would have regretted not trying at all. We made the decision to let our Jackson go peacefully in mid February. He was suffering and going downhill fast. Blue pearl was compassionate and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye to our Jackson. I have nothing but good things to say about the pet dermatologist on site, Dr. Reeder! I brought in my French Bulldog after getting referred by another Frenchie owner and vet friend of mine. My dog Sebastian, a 6 month old French Bulldog, was experiencing horrible itchiness from allergies. He would scratch until he bled and was clearly extremely uncomfortable. We kept him in a t-shirt to keep him from itching himself raw. Dr. Reeder ran tests and determined that Bash was allergic to 98% of the things they tested him for. The initial testing was very expensive, but they created a specialized medicine for him and gave us instruction on how to give him shots. We noticed a difference almost immediately. He was totally transformed. Dr. Reeder explained everything to us in detail and provided great instruction. He was very caring and patient. The Dr. Saying "she needed X-rays to check for internal damage"..........Wait? What? So the initial price you gave us by a dog HIT by a truck, doesn't include Internal X-rays??!! Or a diagnosis? Just a partial Diagnosis with her leg X-rayed?? Our Dog has been hit by a truck and your priority was to X-ray her leg over immediately checking for internal injuries??? Then you return to say "by the way, if you want a full diagnosis it will be more $$ money" otherwise, we can go no further than X-raying her leg for 550.00??!!" My husband and I had a horrible experience when taking our lab mix to Blue Pearl 3 years ago. After $2,000 in testing they said she had terminal cancer and wanted to put her down on the spot. We said NO, took her to our regular vet and he put her on medication and sent us home. The cancer went into remission because she lived for 2 1/2 more years as a healthy and active dog. Fast forward to last night and I Came home to a very sick little chihuahua. With no other option I had to call Blue Pearl where I encountered an extremely rude and hateful employee that answered the phone and was hung up on. Scared for my dogs life I jumped in the car and drove to Blue Pearl but they had moved locations. Had the rude horrible person given me the information and not hung up on me I would've driven to the CORRECT location. When I finally walked in one of the woman behind the desk proudly proclaimed that SHE was the one who hung up on me. I'm currently sitting in the lobby waiting to see what is wrong with my sweet beloved little boy. So far I've paid over $800 and they still have not figured out what is wrong with him. It's SAD that this is Pretty much the only option i have. I'm sure if anyone called a hospital or 911 in a stressful situation- they would not get HUNG UP ON. Oh and her name is LISA! She's a hateful nasty woman that works the front desk at Blue Pearl and deserves to be FIRED! Dr. Kevin Au is an phenomenal surgeon! We have now had to undergo TWO TPLO surgeries with him (our dog Gracie tore her ACL in both legs) and we felt extremely comfortable both times. After the first surgery and 4-6 week recovery she was back to her old self, running, fetching and going to dog parks. We knew when the other leg gave out we wouldn't go anywhere other than Dr. Au. Not only did he make us feel comfortable and keep us updated, but he is an extremely competent, skilled surgeon and diagnosed the ACL tear in a matter of minutes both times. Last Tuesday was my dog's final checkup with Dr Wood.  Max, my four year old lab mix completely tore his cruciate ligament and lost the ability to use his back leg. I was apprehensive as the surgery to repair this type of injury is rather extensive.  After much research I choose Dr Wood with Blue Pearl.  She was fabulous both as a surgeon and a caring veterinarian.  I left Max with her confident that all would be okay. Blue Pearl saved this baby's life. We went to another emergency vet in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and were basically told we had no choice but to put her down. She had developed aspiration pneumonia and was in terrible shape. We contacted Blue Pearl at 2:00 a.m., and they told us they would do everything they could do. We told them how much we love Bendi and they told us by phone that we should at least try to give her a chance. They told us to bring her on and they would prepare for her arrival and told us to call when we were close. We called and they were waiting at the door to get her and immediately took her back and gave her oxygen and began working on her. Bendi stayed for about 4 days and they released her home with a lot of meds. She just finished antibiotics yesterday and we are going to make an appointment today to return for chest x-ray. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I would highly recommend them. Every person we encountered from the receptionist, to the vet techs to the doctors were all kind and knowledgeable. In addition to all of that, they called us daily to advise us of our fur baby's condition. They even asked us to visit thinking that the visit would give Bendi the extra incentive or push to get better. That visit did give her a boost to get better. I would highly recommend Blue Pearl. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. They provide specialized human-like care for your animal. They also have state of the art equipment, specialized treatment for the animals they see and a beautiful facility. Thank you Blue Pearl, we will be forever grateful for what you did for our baby. I was able to call ahead and they were even able to give me an estimate of how much it would cost. This was very helpful as this was a concern for me. I thought the price was fair and liked that it did not change from what they told me. Honestly, it was a little cheaper than if I had gone to my regular vet. Anyways, they did a great job fixing up my little kitten and didn't even have to sedate him which I thought was impressive as he was a feral kitten and very skittish. Also, they went ahead and filled separate syringes with the proper doses of medicine for each day which was the extra touch that has had me recommend this place in an emergency to all my friends with pets. They charged me over $1,100 and told me their ultrasound test showed my 7 year old Shiztzu was eat up with Cancer and she had a perforated stomach and we needed to put her down. Two days later, she finally started eating again (I had changed her food 2 weeks before and she quit eating because of that in the first place). That was 3 weeks ago, and she has been just FINE ever since. When I asked the Dr. if she still has Cancer - he said she was "rallying" and would go down hill soon and we would have to put her down. I was referred to Dr. Holstie to look take on the specialized care after moving here from out of town. I found her somewhat indifferent during my first visit. She seemed more interested in speaking with me about flying to ""Palm Beach"", as she called it, Melbourne, FL to ride her horse every weekend, and how she had founded the practice and sold to the chain blue pearl, than she did discussing my dogs history or treatment plan. On my fourth visit, I was kept waiting for over an hour to discuss my pet's test results and have a bp reading. After speaking with the Director, I finally was brought in to see her. She was hostile, condescending, wouldn't listen to my questions (after I listened to her for 15 minutes, in which she called me cheap, and told me flat out that she was ""here to make money""). Keep in mind that all I had done in 4 visits is 1 blood pressure, one echogram on and a prescription. Over $1000.00 in 3 visits. She was referring my being cheap, because I had a test performed at my vet (which I was told to do if it was more convenient, closer to my house... because it had to be performed at a point in the future. The tests were sent to, and by her own acknowledgement, received by her. She said ""she didn't look at it"". Further she stated ""If I looked over all test results that are sent to me directly"" ""I would not have time to see paying patients"". OK, if I were there for charity or a free consultation I could understand. But as an established patient, providing her with ALL records from 11 years, and it being my FOURTH appointment, I felt as though she should at least be curious or willing to look at the tests. This was a simple blood panel... She stated ""My patients need to pay for the test here and pay me to review it. The test was performed by the vet who REFERRED me to her. I was treated like I was a deadbeat, keep in mind she was always paid in full after every visit. Clearly her Oath means nothing. I feel that this place is most concerned with making money. The Doctor we saw was overactive and dramatic. I felt that she was trying to play on our emotions in an urgent situation to line their pockets. She was eager to run as many test as possible and then insisted she stay over night with an IV. She even went as far as to suggest we start her on a toxic and life altering medication for a completely separate issue that I didn't even bring her in for and that my normal vet had advised me not to do. She also did not even offer pricing until I asked and then acted as if I were a bad owner for not being okay with paying for things she did not need. My dog has these issues frequently and the treatment my local vet gives is very accurate and effective each time. That is how I know this doctor was way off. She seemed very inexperienced. I have seen several bad reviews on this place and a few that say they pay commission to doctors which means they make more money the more services they sell. The wait and time we spent for what little we had done seemed unnecessary. I will not being going back. Should have read the reviews first! Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I brought my cat in with an abscess. She was in severe pain, but the vet waited nearly an hour before giving her a sedative and then only b/c I demanded it. The staff was unresponsive when I heard my cat screaming. They refused to let her see me although I told them she was a rescue cat and very nervous around strangers. There were no other emergency pets present, and I still waited over 3 hours! The vet refused to give me a copy of the records for my insurance (They said they would fax them ""in a few days."") They also had two toxic plants in the lobby where pets wait. Either they are incompetent or just don't care about animals. I shudder to think how they treat pets whose owners don't wait in the lobby and demand to know what's going on! Horrible, horrible people. Take your vet here only as a last resort. Read Less

I tend to agree that money matters more than good care. After going here I had friends tell me they were sorry I had not called them first. They said this place use to be the place to go, but has changed management several times now. The staff was nice, but no one will ever convince me the vet did a thorough exam or that anyone even looked at my dog during the overnight stay. Had anyone taken five minutes with him, they would have seen that he was having severe muscle tremors when he tried to stand on his hind legs for more than three minutes. I had to take him to a second emergency room in Murfreesboro where the vet LISTENED to my dog's history of leg problems and let me watch as he examined my pet. As I said the staff was very nice and the place very clean, but they made me think I was crazy and that ice cream in not cold. Pets and their owners deserve better care, especially in a time of crisis. Read Less

The worst experience I have had in my life with a vet. My yorkie was deathly ill. Every person within this facility was very unpersonable and not particularly animal loving. There was a very clinical atmosphere and demeanor. I allowed them to treat my dog due to the fact that they were the only after hours facility around (and their number was posted on my vets after hour message). The worst mistake I ever made and I will NEVER forgive myself. They ended up treating my dog for something that was NOT an issue for him. They performed a serious procedure on an already sick animal, making it worse. Their bottom line is making a buck and that is it!!! After repeatedly contacting the owner all I got was ""the runaround"". Since then I have vowed to detour as many as possible from making the same mistake I did. MY vet even said the x-rays the place took were no good to diagnose the issue. PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from this place. Read Less
