Little House Animal Hospital

Franklin, Tennessee
General Info
Little House Animal Hospital in Franklin observes details others overlook such as a pet's stance settling eye position maintenance and shoulder drop timing. Throughout Tennessee the application of such insight produces enhanced results. The session starts with analyzing spatial patterns: observe how the pet distributes its weight, the frequency of its eye movements, and the stability or hesitation in its tail motion. Staff members adjust their positions according to those readings by standing diagonally when direct approaches cause tension and utilizing pauses instead of vocal cues when animals display over-attunement. The primary tools remain stationary within the visible area permitting pets to acclimate visually to their surroundings before interaction starts. Little House Animal Hospital delivers integrative diagnostics alongside surgical consultations while monitoring pain levels and providing sensory response treatments in addition to structured mobility rehabilitation programs. Every single treatment modifies itself during its application period. When a pet adopts a flattened posture or redirects its gaze, practitioners return to anchoring techniques which may involve patterned movements or rhythmic steps to restore tranquility. Aftercare plans for owners emphasize complex pacing techniques through visual and tactile methods including how to extend hands in side arcs when to add movement contrast and how to guide reentry into routines using visual anchors. The post-visit behavioral patterns remain stable without unnecessary spikes while home care routines maintain their steady flow. Little House Animal Hospital delivers medical services while establishing complex communication through silent signals and responsive pacing for Franklin families and Tennessee pet owners.

I have two bunnies (age 6.5 and 7) who got sick a few days before Labor Day. We found LHAH (by accident since our bunny vet here was on vacation for the holiday) and is the BEST vet I've ever been to! Dr. Kunkel was so nice, very smart at bunny knowledge, was punctual for our apt, spent almost 90 minutes with us - between both!!!! It wasn't a rush in, take your money, rush out kinda operation. They see dogs & cats, and made sure the waiting room was aware the bunnies would be traveling through (for everyone's safety). She also checked a few things on them, other vets never have. But the thing that was the best - she snuggled on them & interacted how you do with your pets  and she genuinely cared! If anyone is looking for a new vet, prices were very reasonable (for an "exotic pet") be sure to check out Dr. Kathleen Kunkel, DVM. We will be back for any other needs, for as long as we are in Nashville. Read Less

Not only is the receptionist rude and always in a bad mood like she has a stick up her you know what, but the vets are a joke. I had three different issues with theeee different animals and they said it was fleas! Anyone with Google and a brain could find out that fleas wouldn't cause the issues we had with our pets. All they wanted was us to keep coming back for more tests and give meds that did absolutely NOTHING. So let's see I wasted $750 on trying to resolve the issue which they couldn't do, so went to another vet in Franklin who IMMEDIATLY told me what was going on with my pets and resolved the issue after thoroughly explaining everything. This place is a joke!Read Less

I have been a member of bunny rescue since 2005, when I adopted my baby Maggie from Laurie. We were first advised to see another vet for bunny check ups but after our hoarding case in late 2005 we were blessed with an amazing vet that stepped in to help us with all the sick rabbits we had. She was simply amazing, she went out of her way to get this bunnies back to great health and that takes a woman of many talents to do. After the hoarding case I decided to start taking my bunnies there and was so touched at how she treated them and started to tear up as she held Maggie in her arms, sitting on the floor calming her down after her check up. The way she interacted with them was touching...I will never see another vet when it comes to any of the animals I have now or in the future. Everyone in the office really cares about the people and animals that comes in. Read Less

Dr. Kunkel was recommended to me by bunnyrescue. The people who run the rescue are very particular, so I knew we were in good hands. My two babies received excellent care and attention from experienced staff members and the doctor. Bunnies are different from dogs and cats and require specialized care. Dr. Kunkel sees dogs and cats, and she is very experienced with rabbits. I highly recommend her. It was halloween when I brought my bunnies in to see her and she was dressed up as a black cat!! She performed neutering on one of my bunnies and it went flawlessly. I trust her with my babies' lives. She spent lots of time with me talking about food, lifestyle, and rabbit care. She had rabbits as a child, so she has hands on experience. Read Less
