I have been going here the last couple of months the service by dr. Smith is exceptional he has taken great care of me and my pet. This is one of the few holistic and chiropractic services I could find .its a long drive for me but very worth it. My dog has had severe back issues and he has made my dog as comfortable as possible. He also has had great advice for feeding my pet more whole food, and making my own dog food. The time he's took with my many questions and being able to be in touch thru email if after hours has eased my mind during the harder times. I would recommend him to anyone looking for one on one counseling dealing with pet needs. His expertise has surpassed my expectations. I look ford to continuing my relationship with his veterinarian services. The laser therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture along with his own brand of food and organ meat treats was this deciding factor to keep me as a client for years even as I get new pets. just want to say thanks dr. Dr. Smith has successfully treated three of my pets with extreme knowledge and concern. He has helped my dog to live with the pain of arthritis and overcome a knee injury with surgery. In the past his acupuncture treatments made aging bearable for my senior dog. He also treated my six week old kitten for pneumonia resulting in my awesome now two year old cat of today! Read Less

We have been going to Natchez Trace for several years now, and couldn't be happier! They are excellent in every way! They gave our senior Berner optimal & active golden years, with several treatments that worked wonderfully for her. Our 3-year old Berner (started with them as a 7-week old baby). and German Shepherd are happy customers, and actually love going to see Dr. Marc and his amazing staff! We just adopted another 8 year old Berner, and he did an incredible job in removing a growth in her eye. They never make us feel that we're being sold anything unnecessary or expensive (unlike several of our vets in the past). Although my time at Natchez Trace Veterinary Clinic was brief, it is a memory I will hold dear forever. My dog, Lilly, was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September 2014. After reviewing my options for treatment, I decided to proceed with chemotherapy administered by Dr. Smith. She was to have 15 chemo treatments with hope she would live 1-2 years. Lilly was the love of my life and I was going to do whatever it took to keep her with me for as long as possible.Lilly had one chemotherapy treatment and rapidly declined over the next 72 hours. The conclusion was her cancer was much more severe than originally thought. Dr. Smith walked with me through her heartbreaking journey and did everything he could to provide support. He was out of town when we ended up at the pet emergency clinic (where she passed away) and was in constant communication with the doctors. He called me at 9pm on a Saturday night after Lilly passed to tell me how sorry he was. It was obvious he genuinely cared about us and wished he could have changed the situation.  I truly believe his support, Becki's support, and the amazing staff at Nashville Pet Emergency helped me walk through one of the most difficult periods in my life. Before meeting Dr. Mark Smith, I had a difficult time finding a vet I could relate to and trust with my animals€ health. I€m a horse trainer and horse owner. I look at animal care in the same why I approach training: A symptom (whether physical or behavioral) is a sign of an underlying problem. I am grateful to Dr. Smith because he doesn€t focus on making the symptom go away. He seeks the underlying cause and then works toward bringing the animal back into a state of health. I love his comprehensive and practical approach that includes the importance of diet, management, and exercise. I also appreciate that he has taken it upon himself to seek knowledge beyond his primary education and embraces a broad spectrum of modalities. Anything that adds tools to the tool belt is an advantage when it comes to diagnosis, treatment, and routine care, and in my opinion, is a testament to open-mindedness and a deeper level of understanding and caring.
