I read about Pet Vet on the internet and liked their story (they've grown out of two different locations since opening almost 20 years ago)...so I made the drive with two kids in tow for our cat's annual checkup.The receptionist Nancy was super super friendly!!!  I felt right at home with her:).  She got us right in for our appointment with dr. Alexander who did a great job checking our cat out!  He was quickly given two shots and then we were sent on our way.The coolest thing was the ID card we were given for our cat.  We can take it anywhere and show it to buy cd cat food (which you have to have a prescription for...the ID card acts as a prescription)...what a great idea!!! Both of our wheatens, Winnie and Winston, LOVED Dr. Alexander! My husband and I loved that she would get on floor on their level and play with them! I always left feeling like they truly cared about our pups and that we got the best care for the most affordable price. We have recently moved out of state and continually miss Pet Vet! Dr. Butler has been my veterinarian for over 17 years and my family couldn't imagine going to anyone else. Dr. Alexander is awesome as well. You will not find a more clean, welcoming office. Dr Butler and Dr. Alexander will both do whatever is best for your pet and always keep clients informed and involved. If you want to go to a veterinary clinic where the staff know you and your pet by name when you walk in the door, this is the place! I recently met the staff at Pet Vet through a neighbor that said she had heard good things about the facility. Being new to the area, I took one of my kids to them as a walk-in when she wasn't acting right. Immediatey, they took me & my pet into their hearts. Actually, we took them into ours as well. Dr. Alexander attended to both my girl's needs & my needs. Murphy was my little girl's name. She passed away today. The staff was as upset as I was. I've never met people like them before. Dr. Butler always smiled & spoke, even though he wasn't directly caring for my pet. I knew he was there for us if we needed him. Not once did any of them mention costs or how I was going to pay for their services. That's not what was on their mind. It was ""patient first"". It used to be like that in the healthcare system of people, but it's not anymore. If you love your pet, take them to Dr. Alexander & Dr. Butler & their staff at Pet Vet. The only time my two babies Gabby and Tiger go to the vet is to get thier shots. I took Tiger to Dr Butler because we go to church together. I have alot of respect for him.
