Please take the time to read this entire post. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Do not, do not, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR MY WORST ENEMY! To make a long story short, THEY KILLED OUR DOG!!!!!! While living in Nashville, we have always gone to Wm Cty Animal Hosp since they have cheaper products and extended hours. However, we took our dog in for a routine dental cleaning and tooth extractsion since they heavily recommended it. We were VERY hesitant about it to begin with, since our dog had never been under anesthesia, but they reassured us they would take good care of him, and it's a routine procedure. When I went to pick up our dog after work that day, he acted a little loopy and refused to jump in or out of the car, which they said was normal. I babied him that night with wet food and montiored him. When we went to bed that night, he couldn't/wouldn't climb the stairs to go to bed. I wasn't sure if it was pain or exhaustion on his part, so I picked him up and carried him to bed (mind you, this was a 40+lb dog). I woke up in the middle of the night to our dog sitting up in his dog bed, whining, panting, and clenching his teeth in extreme pain. I assumed he was in pain from the tooth extraction and was in need of additional pain meds. I tried to get him to walk downstairs to his food bowl, and..... HE COULDN'T WALK! We called the after hours emergency number and they advised us it could be from the anesthesia and to call Wm Cty Animal Hosp in the morning. As soon as 7am rolled around, I called the vet and asked about the situation, and they informed us that nothing was wrong, and it was probably from the anesthesia . After realizing a couple hours later that he still couldn't walk, and now couldn't stand or control his bowel, I knew something was seriously wrong and demanded to be seen. They saw him and said it's too late to do anything in their office and sent us to the emergency doctor at Blue Pearl. And to spare all the gorey details from Blue Pearl, but they only gave us 3 options, pain management, euthanize, or a $4000 surgery to fix a supposed "slipped disk" that only had a 5% chance of fixing the issue. We asked to have the weekend to think about the options while maintaining with pain meds, and by Tuesday our poor dog passed away. Now... I'm no doctor, but THIS does not happen from a tooth cleaning, extraction, anesthesia etc. Our dog was a very healty, active, 6 year-old dog. SOMEONE in that office man-handled our dog and therefore caused death. I cannot repeat enough... PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! I don't want this experience to haunt anyone else, like it haunts me still. Read Less
