Every time me and my fiancé have boarded our dogs with critter clinic in gallatin, tn they tell us one price and when we go to pick them up they try to charge us 2 times the original price. They said two out of our four dogs needed to be updated on ONE vaccine and it turns out to be 10.... without approval! Also they tried to charge for full grooming and baths before we pick them back up without approval! Therefor the bill (including boarding) went from $500 to $1000.... once again... without approval. This is the third time it has happened with them. We will moving our 4 dogs to a different vet! Read Less

WOW what a great experience today! We could not ask for a better Veterinary clinic for our pooches. We rescued three puppies, they had shots and were missing some. The Doc and staff were great, very nice and caring and very knowledgeable to all our questions. The forethought toward explaining things to watch for, be aware of and of how to administer medications speak volumes. Prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. My puppy was limping for about a month. The Vet I went to in Clarksville could not tell us what the problem was. After 3 visits with them we knew we needed a second opinion. That is when I first met Dr. B and the staff at Critter Clinic. In just one visit Dr. B knew immediately my dog had a torn ACL. Come to find out, he tore his ACL and completely destroyed is Posterior Ligament. Dr. B and his staff got him in immediately and the surgery was a great success. That's not even the best part. The best part is their constant contact and follow up. I have not gone 3 days without someone calling to check on him. Dr. B himself has called me 4 times, that kind of service is just unheard of. We have been in Gallatin now for 3years and we love the staff at the critter clinic. We have always seen Dr. Pounds, and she is amazing with us and our for babies. Everyone that we have ever come in contact at this clinic has been friendly, and caring. Anytime we have been upset due to an issue with one of our dogs they have always been able to calm us and assure is they our babies are in great hands. We never worry when we have to leave any of our animals with them, because we know that they will receive the best care, and love while away from home. Read Less

The facility is exceptionally clean and their Saturday hours are great convenience for those of us who do not always have the opportunity to make appointments on weekdays. Finding a vet that you can trust implicitly with the care of your animal is not an easy task these days; Critter Clinic is that Vet! Can I just take a moment & say how pleased I am with our first visit to the CRITTER CARE CLINIC?! We brought Roo in without an appt, & without being a patient there before, they were more than happy to accommodate us on the spot! 8,000 sq ft facility was beautiful and CLEAN! Every single tech & doc were professional and couldn't be happier to see/welcome us! They were incredibly affordable too! Even gave us a grand tour! His exam was only $49.50, which is the cheapest I've ever had! They even have a resident tech that lives there in an efficiency apartment for all the over night patients & boarded animals! Even the cat room has windows along the cages for them to look outside:) I will recommend them to everyone! I had one vet for 20+ years in NY, now that I'm here, I will be a loyal return customer! Dr. Becker is amazing! She discusses options with you on your fur baby's care and what works best with costs in mind. She follows up to see how your baby is doing and if further care is needed. We began taking our dogs to Critter Clinic in July of 2004 when we relocated to Gallatin. We have 5 dogs of our own and work with and foster for a breed rescue. A lot has happened in these past 11 years, and CC has been there for us every step of the way. We moved from Gallatin in July of 2011, but we continue to make the 40 minute drive back to Critter Clinic because we want only the best for our furry little devils! Should something happen that we leave the area and have to find a new vet, I doubt that we will ever find a veterinary team that cares for them in the same manner as Critter Clinic. Critter Clinic is by far the best place to take your pets. The staff is amazing. Everyone from the front desk ladies all the way to the doctors. When I leave Bear I know he is in the best care possible. Sue is the best groomer and he loves her. They spoil your animals just like you do at home. I love Critter Clinic and so does Bear. I took my dog there to board and they gave her some medication to "stimulate" her appetite and it gave her bloody diarrhea for 2 days, she vomited twice and the failed to mention it to me until after I called!! ... she have been boarding there for months never again!!!!!Read Less
