The whole team at Sumner Spay and Neuter Alliance is awesome. I got Penelope fixed here the beginning of March and she has had some complications since (normal stuff) and they have be nothing short of fantastic. Both times I’ve showed concern they welcome me in explaining everything that’s going on and send me on my way feeling at ease. Everyone here is so friendly. The place is clean and they are very efficient in getting you checked in. When I picked up my dog, I even noticed that they had clipped his nails. I was so happy. He had not had them clipped because he did not have his rabies shot up to date. They give a free rabies shot if needed. This place is amazing! Read Less

It’s important to be greeted with a smile and a warm “Hello” at the place you are trusting your fur baby with. From the moment I arrived they were all very welcoming and ready to assist me. This place is amazing the work they are doing is so essential. I adopted an adorable lil foster kitten here. They were very thorough with information on our kitten and set us up with a carrying container since we did not have one. We are excited what the future holds for us and our new fur baby, Russell! I have worked in full service clinics. They don't hold a candle to the care the animals get here! Top of the line everything! The best equipment! The best Doctors! The most caring, compassionate staff!! And most off all...the very best, top notch, second to none hands on care! Some of our clients aren't able to afford full service prices. You will never meet more caring or hardworking staff anywhere. The highly skilled doctors and staff are the BEST. The clinic is beautiful and clean. It's flurry of action when you arrive but they are very efficient and get you checked in and out as quickly as possible. Although they perform surgeries on many pets each day; your pet will receive all attention you would want for them because of their thoughtful and professional protocols. These folks are working there because they care about pets, your pets. Be a life saver - please spay or neuter your pet because there just aren't enough homes for every pet born in Tennessee. I wrangled in a feral/stray cat that had decided to adopt me. I had him neutered and got shots, etc. Immediately upon arrival I realized how caring the staff is at the facility. They took such good care of this (my) cat, and when I came to pick him up I looked through the window into the surgical area and witnessed animals recuperating in soft beds with covers on them and the staff being very loving to them. I drove from Clarksville to have my two kittens spayed and my puppy neutered. The staff were very professional, helpful, caring, and organized. This place was so wonderful! As soon as I walked in everyone was so friendly and helpful! I took my 9 month old Labrador to get spayed and was so nervous. I called on my lunch break to check on her like a worried mother and they were so understanding and went and actually put eyes on her and said she was doing great and already sitting up wanting some love! They even clipped her nails for me for free! Her recovery went very well and she's all healed up and back to her crazy self! I definitely recommend coming here!! Read Less

I had occasion to visit the Sumner Spay Neuter alliance this week to have three female cats spayed. I was impressed from beginning to end with the communication, reminders, follow-up and instructions. When I arrived to drop off the cats, there must have been 50 people in line and yet things went smoothly. When I returned to pick up my cats, the staff was not impressed with the cardboard boxes I'd brought (in lieu of cat carriers which I don't have for these stray/barn animals), so they even provided some nifty cardboard boxes. I honestly didn't know what to expect before taking my cat to be declawed at Sumner Spay and Neuter. I thought I would be walking into a madhouse of unorganized chaos. Boy was I SURPRISED!! I walked into a beautiful office with the most friendly employees that honestly seemed happy to be able to help you. Yes, it was crowded, as to be expected, & the letter they sent said it would be, but definitely NOT chaotic. It didn't even smell like an animal hospital! I was so relieved. The employees are genuine. They honestly care for your pet. That meant the world to me. The next morning when I went to pick up my cat, I saw different employee faces, but they were just as genuinely happy to be able to help & be there as the ones from the day before. The technician that brought my cat out to me took the time to explain about medicine doses, etc. & what I needed to do to make him most comfortable while he heals. This place is great. I had a stray that they neutered for me and without the low cost they have I wouldn't of been able to do it. I took a stray cat last year also. This place has helped me to get animals off that streets and make it easier to afford caring for these animals. Thank you Read Less
