Our sweet girl Sugaree had to be put down yesterday due to Feline Infectious Peritonitis. She was only 10 months old. The staff, most particularly Dr. Grissom, were incredible during this incredibly hard decision. I feel heartbroken and a complete mess even 24 hours after she's been gone, but we, my husband and I, are comforted with knowing that those who were with her at the end did a wonderful job to make sure she was comfortable.
I have another cat (Sugaree's kennel mate from the shelter we adopted her from) and 2 dogs. We will definitely continue to bring our pets to New Hope because we are confident they love our pets as much as we do.

Went in just for a nail clipping had 2 dogs i had to bring in which the pets didn't live far from the clinic. They was very nice and of course one of the dogs had to poop in the front office but very nice and only charged me $13.75 per dog to clip there nails. Just a walk-in also so they didn't charge a office visit which was nice and the front part. Didn't stink!!

Last February my small flock of six chickens became ill and eventually they all died but one. Not having any experience with chickens, except for gathering eggs as a child, it was very hard on me emotionally. I tried every over the counter and internet blog idea, trying to provide comfort, and a cure. I learned from this experience, not to waste my time or money on suggestions from non-professional but go to New Hope and get the help needed. After sick chickens for five months I thought of giving up the idea of having a backyard flock, but Dr. Johnson suggested for me to buy from a reliable source and buy vaccinated chickens.He was so, so right, and I am so thankful for his encouragement which is why in September of 2016, I bought four more and what a joy ! The staff provided super support through the five months of dealing with a sick and dying flock. I have to admit, I felt foolish crying over their death, but you will be surprised how social and personable chickens can be, and New Hope has a loving staff that understands our affection for our pets. I even got a sympathy card!

The best of the Best!!! New Hope saved my cat's life! He was being treated without success at another vet and we were to the point of having him euthanized when a friend recommended Dr. Johnson at New Hope. He did some test and changed his food and Samson's goiter shrunk down to nothing within 6 weeks and he was eating healthy and playing like he was a kitten again!!! I would not bring my animals anywhere else!!

I normally have an OK experience having taken three of my cats here for several visits. There is one receptionist that is so personable and friendly but she wasn't working yesterday. I had an appointment for my senior skittish cat for a checkup to address her not eating much and losing weight. A dog owner with a new patient arrived just before I walked in. I wasn't acknowledged as she was filling out paperwork so I sat down. Minutes later she was checked in so I walked back up to the counter to be ignored again and the receptionist even got up and walked away. She came back and continued to look at the computer. After standing there for a few more minutes she asked me how she could help but never looked at me. I waited 21 minutes past my appointment time and walked out. There was no one at the desk to tell that I had to get back to work or to ask how much longer I would be waiting. I chose this neighborhood vet because they take appointments and I have a work schedule I must follow. Maybe they were just having an off day but a little courtesy and information about the delay would have been nice. The place is clean, the vets are friendly and one receptionist is very warm and welcoming. I do hear dogs barking from the back and they don't have a separate quiet space for cats when they are there for treatment. If you have a skittish cat I wouldn't suggest this place for that reason.

Dr. Johnson and Staff are amazing. Recently, we had to make the most heartbreaking discussion of putting my little friend to rest. Dr. Johnson and Staff were very compassionate and sincere. They allowed us all the time in the world to say our final goodbyes without concerns about wasting their time. When the procedure was done, they still let us stay with him until we were finally ready to leave. They showed us such tenderness, there are no words to describe how supportive, compassionate and understanding they made this tragic experience that happen to our lives. To top it off, I had a regret that I did not have a paw print of my little buddy and when we picked up our little friends ashes, long behold, Dr. Johnson had a paw print for me. That gesture is something I will never forget and clearly shows how understanding Dr. Johnson and staff are to their customers and pets. Thank you , New Hope Veterinary Clinic, we are forever grateful.

Even with me in tears and near a meltdown, Dr. Shannon worked wonders with my mare when she was choked. She managed to keep me "mostly" calm and handled everything beautifully. Both she and Dr. Johnson were there for me the rest of the night and following day checking in on my mare to see how she was doing and answering any questions that I had. Great group of people and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called today to inquire about paying expenses for a Cocker Spaniel that Willy's Happy Endings Rescue/Adoption recently saved from Animal Control and brought to Dr. Johnson for emergency intervention. I often try to help local rescue groups this way but I don't always get the excellent response and service that I did from Nichole this morning. I want to thank her for quickly looking up Sir. Jasper's record, going over the details of his emergency treatment and taking care that the charges are marked paid in full. The before and after photos of this poor, abused, senior gentleman prove that euthanasia does NOT have to be the only response. He'll live out his days in comfort and safety now. Thank you.

I recently found myself searching for answers when my young dog became mysteriously ill, my search ultimately landed me at the doorstep of the New Hope clinic. Thanks to them, my pet is happy, healthy and well on her way to a complete recovery. What an amazing team of professionals, Dr Johnson and his team at New Hope truly do everything in their power to provide the absolute best medical care for your pet. This clinic is the newest addition to the Animal House Clinic (Gateway Animal Care Group) who has provided services to my large animals for years and now New Hope has gain my families business and I recommend to all.

Very helpful and obviously knowledgeable. Answered all my questions about everything and they were quick too which was nice. Only downside is parking is a bit rough but all in all good place.

What a wonderful place to take your pets! Friendly, caring and compassionate. Brought my small dog in on a Saturday morning after what was believed to have been a run in with a car. Later to be determined to have been a run off into a large, deep ditch. In any case, I was met with friendly staff who took excellent care of my small non flying wounded dog. I have found a new veterinary clinic.

I own exotic pets and I always think that the bill will be too rich for my wallet, but at the end of every visit I am always breathing a sigh of relief. The vet is so friendly and easy to talk to. Last February my small flock of six chickens became ill and eventually they all died but one. Not having any experience with chickens, except for gathering eggs as a child, it was very hard on me emotionally. I tried every over the counter and internet blog idea, trying to provide comfort, and a cure. I learned from this experience, not to waste my time or money on suggestions from non-professional but go to New Hope and get the help needed. After sick chickens for five months I thought of giving up the idea of having a backyard flock, but Dr. Johnson suggested for me to buy from a reliable source and buy vaccinated chickens.He was so, so right, and I am so thankful for his encouragement which is why in September of 2016, I bought four more and what a joy ! The staff provided super support through the five months of dealing with a sick and dying flock. I have to admit, I felt foolish crying over their death, but you will be surprised how social and personable chickens can be, and New Hope has a loving staff that understands our affection for our pets. I even got a sympathy card!

This facility is literally the best in town and the area. I drive from Clarksville, pass multiple vets along the way just to go see these Doctors. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies! Two Thumbs...

The best of the Best!!! New Hope saved my cat's life! He was being treated without success at another vet and we were to the point of having him euthanized when a friend recommended Dr. Johnson at New Hope. He did some test and changed his food and Samson's goiter shrunk down to nothing within 6 weeks and he was eating healthy and playing like he was a kitten again!!! I would not bring my animals anywhere else!!

I normally have an OK experience having taken three of my cats here for several visits. There is one receptionist that is so personable and friendly but she wasn't working yesterday. I had an appointment for my senior skittish cat for a checkup to address her not eating much and losing weight. A dog owner with a new patient arrived just before I walked in. I wasn't acknowledged as she was filling out paperwork so I sat down. Minutes later she was checked in so I walked back up to the counter to be ignored again and the receptionist even got up and walked away. She came back and continued to look at the computer. After standing there for a few more minutes she asked me how she could help but never looked at me. I waited 21 minutes past my appointment time and walked out. There was no one at the desk to tell that I had to get back to work or to ask how much longer I would be waiting. I chose this neighborhood vet because they take appointments and I have a work schedule I must follow. Maybe they were just having an off day but a little courtesy and information about the delay would have been nice. The place is clean, the vets are friendly and one receptionist is very warm and welcoming. I do hear dogs barking from the back and they don't have a separate quiet space for cats when they are there for treatment. If you have a skittish cat I wouldn't suggest this place for that reason.

I trust Dr. Johnson and Dr. Shannon to do the best and give me all the options available for me to make the right decisions with my pets. I have been going to this clinic for a couple of years now. No matter what the news may be about my pets health, I do feel I am getting the best care for them. My furry family is very grateful for all u do. And last but not least...the reception staff and techs are the best. THANKS!!!!!

So thankful for Dr Johnson. I took my dog in yesterday with what I thought was a possible ACL tear so needless to say I was a nervous wreck. Turned out to be Arthritis instead, but Dr Johnson thoroughly examined him and patiently answered every question I had. I felt much better after leaving there!

Dr. Johnson and Staff are amazing. Recently, we had to make the most heartbreaking discussion of putting my little friend to rest. Dr. Johnson and Staff were very compassionate and sincere. They allowed us all the time in the world to say our final goodbyes without concerns about wasting their time. When the procedure was done, they still let us stay with him until we were finally ready to leave. They showed us such tenderness, there are no words to describe how supportive, compassionate and understanding they made this tragic experience that happen to our lives. To top it off, I had a regret that I did not have a paw print of my little buddy and when we picked up our little friends ashes, long behold, Dr. Johnson had a paw print for me. That gesture is something I will never forget and clearly shows how understanding Dr. Johnson and staff are to their customers and pets. Thank you , New Hope Veterinary Clinic, we are forever grateful.

Even with me in tears and near a meltdown, Dr. Shannon worked wonders with my mare when she was choked. She managed to keep me "mostly" calm and handled everything beautifully. Both she and Dr. Johnson were there for me the rest of the night and following day checking in on my mare to see how she was doing and answering any questions that I had. Great group of people and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called today to inquire about paying expenses for a Cocker Spaniel that Willy's Happy Endings Rescue/Adoption recently saved from Animal Control and brought to Dr. Johnson for emergency intervention. I often try to help local rescue groups this way but I don't always get the excellent response and service that I did from Nichole this morning. I want to thank her for quickly looking up Sir. Jasper's record, going over the details of his emergency treatment and taking care that the charges are marked paid in full. The before and after photos of this poor, abused, senior gentleman prove that euthanasia does NOT have to be the only response. He'll live out his days in comfort and safety now. Thank you.

I recently found myself searching for answers when my young dog became mysteriously ill, my search ultimately landed me at the doorstep of the New Hope clinic. Thanks to them, my pet is happy, healthy and well on her way to a complete recovery. What an amazing team of professionals, Dr Johnson and his team at New Hope truly do everything in their power to provide the absolute best medical care for your pet. This clinic is the newest addition to the Animal House Clinic (Gateway Animal Care Group) who has provided services to my large animals for years and now New Hope has gain my families business and I recommend to all.
