There is no better clinic in all of Knoxville, and believe me, I looked. Several years ago, when we started rescue, I developed a list of area vets and their prices for routine services. Admiral got top marks in all categories, plus you can't put a price on compassionate, empathetic service. I've lain several rescues to rest here, along with two heart dogs of my own. Dr. Stephanie Hickey is extraordinary, and I'm not sure how my life would be without her guidance, education, and support.
Admiral can treat your tiny or giant breeds, and everyone in between. Their clinic is personal, calm, comfortable, and beautiful. It is a stress free zone for pets. The team is like a well oiled machine, and most of them have been there for years.

I never write reviews, but I just thought it was the least I could do for the Admiral Veterinary staff and Dr. Strunk. I took my dog, Rose, to Admiral after a sudden and rapid decline in her health. She was only 3 years old at the time, and her symptoms varied greatly. After the terrible and negligent care she received at the clinic I had always taken my pets too, I searched for another vet. I was emotionally drained at this point. I was worried and she was very ill. This is when I found Admiral. The staff was so kind and genuine. Dr. Strunk walked me gently and informatively through the process as Rose underwent testing to find a diagnosis. Dr. Strunk had the intelligence and the aptitude to know that her seemingly "unrelated" symptoms were evidence of an underlying issue. She referred me immediately to a specialist and Rose was diagnosed with SLE, and extremely rare form of canine Lupus. If I had continued to listen to her previous vet I really believe her health would have declined to the point that she would have to have been euthanized. Lupus is a difficult disease to diagnose and if the wrong treatment is received it can have fatal consequences. Dr. Strunk was very careful to make sure Rose received the correct care. After I went to the specialist for the diagnosis, I have continued to bring Rose to Admiral for her regular care and prescriptions. If I ever have any questions or needs all I have to do is call or email and Dr. Strunk responds promptly. Like within 24 hours. She never leaves me hanging and covers all the bases. She even researched a special food that I was going to start feeding Rose and called to discuss it. The staff at Admiral go above and beyond for your pets. They show genuine care and interest along with knowledgeable treatments and never jerk you around for money like some other vets out there. I so appreciate everything they have done and recommend them to anyone.

Their prices are more-than-reasonable, as well. So far, I have recommended at least 3 other people to Admiral and all have been extremely satisfied.

This has been the best veterinary experience we have ever had!! We just moved to the area from Maine and we love the area down here. Our neighbors recommended Admiral and we have not been disappointed! They truly are compassionate and love my dogs-always happy and smiling and always trying to make our visit as pleasant as possible. Their fees are really comparable to the rest of the area and in some areas are the best value! Everyone in the Farragut area of Knoxville should be coming here as no other place has treated me and my pets so special. I won't go anywhere else.

I had been taking my 10 animals here for the past five years, accumulating to thousands of dollars over those years. Without my permission and without them notifying me, they charged my card 300.00!!!...
I had been taking my 10 animals here for the past five years, accumulating to thousands of dollars over those years. Without my permission and without them notifying me, they charged my card 300.00!!! To make matters worse, this was the 2nd time they had done this in the past yr. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by anyone before. The receptionist was extremely rude and NEVER let me speak with management or the owner. Her reply was that all we can do is credit it back to your account. Living off a single income is very hard these days and having NO MONEY to feed yourself, your animals, or to put has in your car for the next 5-7 days until the credit hits is pure hell! Not to mention any over draft fees I receive. The receptionists response was oh well! Do you not have other financial means? No I don't!!! And now I have no way to feed my animals either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They could seriously care less about me or my animals and are illegally making transactions.

There is no better clinic in all of Knoxville, and believe me, I looked. Several years ago, when we started rescue, I developed a list of area vets and their prices for routine services. Admiral got top marks in all categories, plus you can't put a price on compassionate, empathetic service. I've lain several rescues to rest here, along with two heart dogs of my own. Dr. Stephanie Hickey is extraordinary, and I'm not sure how my life would be without her guidance, education, and support.

I never write reviews, but I just thought it was the least I could do for the Admiral Veterinary staff and Dr. Strunk. I took my dog, Rose, to Admiral after a sudden and rapid decline in her health. She was only 3 years old at the time, and her symptoms varied greatly. After the terrible and negligent care she received at the clinic I had always taken my pets too, I searched for another vet. I was emotionally drained at this point. I was worried and she was very ill. This is when I found Admiral. The staff was so kind and genuine. Dr. Strunk walked me gently and informatively through the process as Rose underwent testing to find a diagnosis.
