Older veterinarian was very unprofessional and condescending toward me. Maltreatment of my pet, wound cheese cloth so tightly around my dogs nose to "muzzle" him that it left marks for hours afterwards, despite no signs of aggression from my dog and done so without asking permission. The front desk staff are very nice however, but please consider my following comments- Edit after seeing this place reply to my initial complaint: Even the tone of your “apology” is condescending. You did not apologize for giving me a bad experience, you apologized for me FEELING that way. Take some responsibility. Additionally, the tech who cut his nails made him bleed on the first try, therefore he did not want his nails touched again..imagine that! Your team should be skilled enough that they don’t need to send a sedative off before a basic nail trim. And my dog has never been aggressive and never needed muzzled, I was standing right there. Don’t blame the customer for your incompetence. ALSO muzzling is understandable, muzzling and leaving dents on my dogs snout hours later is not the same. Get your act together, especially the older vet who chastised me for using a harness to walk my dog. WHAT? I’ve found that Knoxville animal clinic is a much nicer establishment with vets willing to squeeze you in for emergencies and with much better bedside manner. Read Less

I just took my chihuahua, Cabbie, in for a dental cleaning today and had a great experience! The staff was great, the vet went above and beyond to explain certain processes to me, they even called me right before the procedure and then directly after the procedure to let me know everything was okay. Her teeth look better than I was even expecting and then on top of all that, they had the best prices out of the 10 or so clinics I called. I will definitely be returning.Read Less
