Had to have my cat shaved because she let it become so knotted up from lack of grooming due to her old age i thought she was hopeless to be honest but with lots of hard work and time they somehow got ...
Had to have my cat shaved because she let it become so knotted up from lack of grooming due to her old age i thought she was hopeless to be honest but with lots of hard work and time they somehow got under those dreads and cut all that terribleness off, she feels so much better and is so much happier. Its hard to find anyone that will groom a cat believe me i called everywhere before i got lucky and under the vets supervision they were able to put my cat to sleep so they could shave her safely like i said it was pretty bad. Its a good option to have oh and ive also had pets treated here for allergies ect. they were nice and caring then as well

I just recently moved to Knoxville, and I am lucky this vet is close to me! They have consistently taken such good care of my baby Luna. She has recurrent ear infection/allergy issues, and is a complete drama queen when it comes to pain. They really know how to handle her, and make her as comfortable as possible. Their drop off and pick up option is great, especially working a 9-5. I always know she is in good hands. I highly recommend this office to everyone.

Started taking Romeo there he got wonderful care very compassionate people. Romeo got very sick with Kidney Disease and Dr. Mcleod tuitored me how to give him IV's under the skin and plus gave me some medicine which I couldnt afford absolutely free to help prolonged his life. Romeo lost his battle and they also gave a donation in his name at Young Williams and now he helps me with my new Persian Bigleigh with another Vet when I cant get him in with Dr. Mcleod but they are the best. South Knoxville is very lucky to have him and his staff.🐱🐩 Thank you Dogwood Animal Hospital 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Excellent staff and the vet is great. He is sensible and does not push unnecessary medical procedures on the pet owner. I frist started going when they offer a free health check for the dog I adopted from the shelter. We moved away after graduation in 2007. We returned to Knoxville a few years ago and we went back to Dogwood and they offered the same great service.

I have taken my Doberman Molly to Dogwood Animal Hospital for almost 5 years now and I adore them. They are very thorough and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Dogwood Animal Hospital!

We have used Dogwood for at least 25 years. They have taken very good care of our small animals. Dr. Ruth even came to our house to put our very old dog down, because we thought it would be extremely painful to bring him to the hospital. That's just compassion at work. These are good people.

We've been pleased with the service we've received at Dogwood Animal Hospital so far! Our two dogs and two cats are registered there, and prices have been reasonable for each visit. The two veterinarians here (a husband and wife team, if I'm not mistaken) are really friendly and helpful, and work hard to answer any questions you've got.

Been a customer here since I moved here a year and a half ago. Never met the vet......always seems to be too busy to even say hi. With no cars in the parking lot kind of seems lazy. Get told about a new required test or lab they want to run every time I come in to pick up a new 6 month supply of heartworm and flea/tick meds....scam artists that want to charge you extra for nothing. I had to do a "checkup" to get my dog spayed but the vet didn't even see my dog.....f' this place unless you want to overpay for meds and pay for pointless testing every few months

If I could leave zero stars I would. Scam artists and lazy workers. Every time you go in they want you to get a test or medication that is "preventative".....I've had my dog on heart worm and tick/fle...

Every time you go in they want you to get a test or medication that is "preventative".....I've had my dog on heart worm and tick/flea preventative consecutively and still get forced into paying for a "test" before I can be sold heartworm meds. F' this place. You're better off going somewhere else.

I can't say enough good things about these Vets and their staff. It's easy to tell how much they all love animals. Shout out to Samantha for always answering my puppy questions, no matter how weird....

I just recently moved to Knoxville, and I am lucky this vet is close to me! They have consistently taken such good care of my baby Luna. She has recurrent ear infection/allergy issues, and is a complete drama queen when it comes to pain. They really know how to handle her, and make her as comfortable as possible. Excellent staff and the vet is great. He is sensible and does not push unnecessary medical procedures on the pet owner. I frist started going when they offer a free health check for the dog I adopted from the shelter. We moved away after graduation in 2007. We returned to Knoxville a few years ago and we went back to Dogwood and they offered the same great service.
