I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARTS!!!!!!! But will contact the BBB. The staff is so rude! My dog had emergency surgery here while we were out of town and when we got back and called to ask when and where we get the stitches out the woman said "we don't do follow up appointments" and hung up. Then I called back and the next man I talked to laughed at me and said to call the police??? They also wouldnt tell me their names. Then I called back and asked for a doctor and the doctor tried making me feel rediculous and said I lied about the whole thing when I recorded it!!! All I wanted to know is what to do with my dog!!!! But they got their 900$ out of us, so I guess customer service went out the door. I should of looked at all the other reviews before I took my dog here. DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!!

We took our German shepherd in with a snake bite after waiting an hour for them to give us a price of everything while our dog in the back somewhere away from us they told us it would be $5000 to treat her. We said no way and than waited another 30 mins for a new plan. Of $500 dollars. They are just out for the money. Worst place every.

We had to take my best friends moms dog in due to him losing lack of ability to operate his back legs. He had a cancerous tumor on his spine and it had taken over his nerves. We ended up having to put him down, but the staff was super attentive and understanding. They let us do whatever we needed to do and in our time not theirs. They were so very nice the whole visit!!! The vet even loved on him after putting him to sleep.

We called Knoxville pet emergency when our family pet collapsed, in a panic telling them our dog was dying in the front yard... we were asked if we could hold.
I called back telling them again to which they said bring him in, I told them we’re 45 minutes away what can we do? This time they said they didn’t advise giving breaths for him. Minutes after he passed. They should know to advise how to administer CPR the person on the phone was less than competent To be answering the emergency line at a pet clinic.

Because we didnt have enough money up front, they let my daughters best friend (Chihuahua) die. She was pregnant and the baby was too big (it had passed away) so it needed to be taken but I didnt have the money the vet was going to charge... The vet wouldnt do anything but charge me to give her a pain shot and send her home to die. I thought people became vets to help and save animals? I guess some let the almighty dollar cloud their judgement.

We asked questions and he just rushed us out like we were annoying him. It was not crowded at all at this time so there was no need for the rush. Not one staff member said they were sorry for our loss. Was just concerned about getting their money. Would not recommend.

Was veey nervous before I went in, but the staff made me feel at ease. The Dr. came in and told me all my options and even suggested ways to save us $. Great place, very fair price for a 24/7 pet emergency clinic. They were also short staffed for the amount of patients that was there, but they didn't panic or seem aggravated just very willing to help. Me and Lola want to say Thank You to the staff at Knoxville pet emergency clinic. We ever have another emergency you all will be our first call.

I was having a horrible experience at the UT animal clinic and wanted desperately to have my puppy checked out so I left there and gave this place a shot. As soon as I walked into KNOXVILLE PET EMERGENCY CLINIC the staff was fast, friendly, and took care of my puppy right away. Even though the clinic was busy, they had plenty of staff on late night to take care of the problem! They understand what a emergency is!! Dr Davenport was great, thank you so much!!!

We had to take our senior yorkie here twice last week for separate health issues. Here is what I liked--
*They were kind, sensitive to my fears and tears and helpful.
*They immediately took my dog from me to put him on Oxygen.
*Upon walking in, I noticed the facility was very clean. They had Wi-Fi, drinks and snacks. They even had toys for my 4 year old to keep him occupied.
*The doctor was sensitive and very thorough in his explanations and diagnoses both times.
*They allowed me the opportunity to call as many times as I wanted throughout the night and had all of his paperwork over to our vet asap without reminding.
Overall, I will continue to take any of our pets here if it is needed! Yes, ER pet services are pricey but aren't they everywhere???!!!!

Nothing but the best after dealing with a floating vet at my regular pets doctors which yes did diagnose her with something on Monday but not why she was so sick. She kept getting worse all week but did not want to take her back as walk in. On Mother's Day she was there and we went from a dog that looked like she was going to have to be put down to the next day she is acting like a brand new puppy, she's almost 10. All I can say is Thank You so very much felt like they cared more about her than her regular doctor

Receptionist was nice when I called and wanted to make sure we were coming. We got there with my baby cat (6 yrs old but tiny) to examine her bad tooth which was clearly rotten, causing pain, and almost falling out. She was leery In trusting my very mild mannered adult cat but proved to appreciate her well behaved manner and curiosity of being somewhere other than home. The nurse/receptionist? and vet were very kind and patient with our questions and gave us the best options including giving her comfort meds, an injection work fluids and nutrients, (seeing as she couldn't eat) and trying to pull the bad tooth if it had enough wear to be pulled before bringing her to a local vet for further treatment. We were given antibiotics for the after treatment because the tooth was pulled. If you TALK and ask honest QUESTIONS, I truly believe this is a good clinic for your pet of you need emergency service. I was relived my Yuki baby wasn't in pain and could sleep a night without discomfort in days, got friendly genuine feedback about further steps, and really felt relief when I left. My word to those who may read some of the more negative comments is that an emergency 24 hr clinic will be pricey because they are there for you all the time and in true emergencies with pets, it is going to be expensive. You just have to make the right decisions and they provided me with the right information at the time to do the right thing. Thank you. You made sure Carrie didn't suffer long.

I was not impressed by the service at all. My baby was very sick had to take her at like 2 am in morning. The nurse told me all type horrifying news outside of what the Dr. told me. She pretty much has said there's no need to get her treatment let her just die! I could have lost my whole mind in the place, and tore up the entire clinic... but then I didn't have time to go to jail with my sick dog. she had no right to say that to me!!! Shut up and do what the Dr told you to do....my pet end up having to be admitted which cost me THOUSANDS $,$$$.$$ and she came back home pretty much the same, with NO direction, NO diagnosis pretty much told me idk what it is. Will never use this place again!!!! I wouldn't even rate it a 1 star but since that's the only option I guess I had to pick one. She's better now had to take her to her Doctor at Asheville Hwy Animal ClinicI also failed to mention obviously overnight my baby had to go the the bathroom she must've pooped in cage and when they bought her to me she was covered in poop on feet/ legs and back I had to MAKE them clean her up. Just things I don't like.

A great clinic! Frankly, most of these reviews here are from people likely already mad that they had to go to en emergency clinic and were then shocked that it cost more to see a vet at 3am on a Tuesday. The staff here has always been professional and helpful. Yes, it can be expensive, but financial responsibility is part of pet ownership. It's not the staff's fault your pet is injured, nor is it their fault someone can't afford treatment.
One of the reviews on here I know is a lie because I happened to be at the clinic with my dog the day it happened, googled the clinic the next day, and recognized a weak attempt to hide her real name on a bad review. She was mad to be there and mad that she couldn't see her regular vet. But that's life.
Anyone who's ever had any experience in medicine should recognize the types of ridiculous things people are complaining about here.

Dr. Davenport and the nurse are professional and considerate. I took my Boston terrier puppy to the emergency room after his diarrhea and vomiting for several hours at around 5 am. He got into the trash can and got a food poison. My baby felt much better and was able to sleep after the treatment. As an emergency clinic the fee is reasonable. They told you the price, discussed with you and showed care to your pet. And luckily I have insurance. It is a very good place and as a dog owner it is great to always have a place in mind when it is in urgent situation.

I was having a horrible experience at the UT animal clinic and wanted desperately to have my puppy checked out so I left there and gave this place a shot. As soon as I walked into KNOXVILLE PET EMERGENCY CLINIC the staff was fast, friendly, and took care of my puppy right away. We had to take our senior yorkie here twice last week for separate health issues. Here is what I liked--
*They were kind, sensitive to my fears and tears and helpful.
*They immediately took my dog from me to put him on Oxygen.
*Upon walking in, I noticed the facility was very clean. They had Wi-Fi, drinks and snacks. They even had toys for my 4 year old to keep him occupied.
*The doctor was sensitive and very thorough in his explanations and diagnoses both times.
*They allowed me the opportunity to call as many times as I wanted throughout the night and had all of his paperwork over to our vet asap without reminding.
Overall, I will continue to take any of our pets here if it is needed! Yes, ER pet services are pricey but aren't they everywhere???!!!!

Nothing but the best after dealing with a floating vet at my regular pets doctors which yes did diagnose her with something on Monday but not why she was so sick. She kept getting worse all week but did not want to take her back as walk in. On Mother's Day she was there and we went from a dog that looked like she was going to have to be put down to the next day she is acting like a brand new puppy, she's almost 10. All I can say is Thank You so very much felt like they cared more about her than her regular doctor

Receptionist was nice when I called and wanted to make sure we were coming. We got there with my baby cat (6 yrs old but tiny) to examine her bad tooth which was clearly rotten, causing pain, and almost falling out. She was leery In trusting my very mild mannered adult cat but proved to appreciate her well behaved manner and curiosity of being somewhere other than home. The nurse/receptionist? and vet were very kind and patient with our questions and gave us the best options including giving her comfort meds, an injection work fluids and nutrients, (seeing as she couldn't eat) and trying to pull the bad tooth if it had enough wear to be pulled before bringing her to a local vet for further treatment. We were given antibiotics for the after treatment because the tooth was pulled. If you TALK and ask honest QUESTIONS, I truly believe this is a good clinic for your pet of you need emergency service. I was relived my Yuki baby wasn't in pain and could sleep a night without discomfort in days, got friendly genuine feedback about further steps, and really felt relief when I left. My word to those who may read some of the more negative comments is that an emergency 24 hr clinic will be pricey because they are there for you all the time and in true emergencies with pets, it is going to be expensive. You just have to make the right decisions and they provided me with the right information at the time to do the right thing. Thank you. You made sure Carrie didn't suffer long.

I was not impressed by the service at all. My baby was very sick had to take her at like 2 am in morning. The nurse told me all type horrifying news outside of what the Dr. told me. She pretty much has said there's no need to get her treatment let her just die! I could have lost my whole mind in the place, and tore up the entire clinic... but then I didn't have time to go to jail with my sick dog. she had no right to say that to me!!! Shut up and do what the Dr told you to do....my pet end up having to be admitted which cost me THOUSANDS $,$$$.$$ and she came back home pretty much the same, with NO direction, NO diagnosis pretty much told me idk what it is. Will never use this place again!!!! I wouldn't even rate it a 1 star but since that's the only option I guess I had to pick one. She's better now had to take her to her Doctor at Asheville Hwy Animal ClinicI also failed to mention obviously overnight my baby had to go the the bathroom she must've pooped in cage and when they bought her to me she was covered in poop on feet/ legs and back I had to MAKE them clean her up. Just things I don't like.

Although we were unable to save our dog the amount of compassion and comfort we felt leaving there helped in our healing. We were very pleased with Dr. Davenport and staff for making a difficult time a little easier

A great clinic! Frankly, most of these reviews here are from people likely already mad that they had to go to en emergency clinic and were then shocked that it cost more to see a vet at 3am on a Tuesday. The staff here has always been professional and helpful. Yes, it can be expensive, but financial responsibility is part of pet ownership. It's not the staff's fault your pet is injured, nor is it their fault someone can't afford treatment.
One of the reviews on here I know is a lie because I happened to be at the clinic with my dog the day it happened, googled the clinic the next day, and recognized a weak attempt to hide her real name on a bad review. She was mad to be there and mad that she couldn't see her regular vet. But that's life.
Anyone who's ever had any experience in medicine should recognize the types of ridiculous things people are complaining about here.

Dr. Davenport and the nurse are professional and considerate. I took my Boston terrier puppy to the emergency room after his diarrhea and vomiting for several hours at around 5 am. He got into the trash can and got a food poison. My baby felt much better and was able to sleep after the treatment. As an emergency clinic the fee is reasonable. They told you the price, discussed with you and showed care to your pet. And luckily I have insurance. It is a very good place and as a dog owner it is great to always have a place in mind when it is in urgent situation.
