We have been going here since we first got our two cats in 2016. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell the animals love them and are comfortable around them. We take our dogs here. The facility is VERY large and clean. Plenty of rooms and the staff very nice. One of our dogs needed a second shot for a vaccine and they offered to do it while he was being boarded next door at the Boardroom. Scam artists! They tried to charge me $1500 for a broken leg on a cat. Life threatening, unnecessary surgery is not an earmark of a good vet... I wonder how many loving owners will lose and have lost their pets because this vet pushes unnecessary procedures. People will literally love their pet to death with this vet. Everyone giving them 5 stars must have a ton of expendable income and zero knowledge about reasonable vet care. Sure they are super nice, super friendly and have an awesome building. I equate them to being more like car salesmen tho because it's a a front to disarm you into paying their made up surgeries or who knows what else if I had continued taking animals here. I know from past experience of working with and for vets that a cats broken leg will always heal when casted as long as the bone is not in a million pieces. These people told me my cat would never walk on her leg again unless I paid $1500 for them to surgically fix it... I balked at the vet and asked if they were serious. I paid $600 at my previous vet for a cat to undergo not 1, but 2 leg surgeries.( He had a stump with a bone protruding, so we tried to save his leg and then amputated. ) When I confronted the vet about the cost and the fact I've never seen a cat need surgery for a simple broken leg. The vet at Cumberland just kind of stuttered and gave me no real answers other than "maybe she can ask to have it done $400 cheaper". This just infuriated me so I declined the surgery and left. I removed my cats cast after 3 weeks and viola her leg was 100% healed. You can't even tell it was ever broken and had I been a normal person with less knowledge, these people would of scammed $1500 from me to do a completely unnecessary and life threatening surgery on my cat. I just moved to Lebanon last year and I miss my vet of 9 years. They truly cared at Wheelers vet clinic about the people and the animals, unlike these people. Read Less

Brought a small dog in for weekend boarding which included giving the dog oral medications. Step by step instructions were ignored. Medicine I provided for high blood pressure was ignored and when they were confronted with the medicine issue I was told it was not provided to them. Funny I have been keeping and had given them a written daily medicine history but I forgot to give them the high blood pressure medicine. Anyway I have asked for my "Day care" not the boarding fees back and they didn't offer. I CANNOT TRUST THEM AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER, and I find that a shame. Read Less

I want to say that everyone here is super nice. After treating my cat and finding out that he had leukemia they were very supportive and kind with my decision to put him down. The staff at CAH are truly amazing at what they do. We take our 9 year old lab mix for all of his yearly shots and checkups. We have also (unfortunately) had to bring him for injuries and illnesses. Dr. Allison has even calmed me down via phone during a recent paw injury. They make you feel comfortable, safe, and most importantly, heard. I have no reservations about the treatment and care provided at Cumberland Animal Hospital. We live in Hermitage but still drive out to Lebanon because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. They are worth the drive for sure! Read Less
