Called Dr.Pack for a emergency,had a horse injured very bad , call every vet we could find in my area ( Winchester,Fayetteville,Manchester tn.) not one called back!!!! Yes I left them messages.. I have taken my dogs do this Veterinary Clinic for 8 years and they have always been very courteous thoughtful and thorough. I took my two dogs to get their annual shots and check up and discovered that my miniature Dotson is having an infection that is causing her to cough sneeze and wheeze a lot. I went with an exotic pet to see "doctor" Haley. I really wish that I had gone elsewhere. He was very rough with my poor little pet and by the time I left the poor little thing was barely even moving, and was clearly in worse condition than when I walked in. Additionally he told me that there was really nothing he could do and that if I wanted a chance at getting some answers then it would cost me at least 200-500 dollars and that did not mean it would help my pet at all, only maybe tell me why he quit eating. This clinic comes highly recommend by several people in the Lebanon and Nashville area. I live in Nashville and make the 35 mile drive just for my dog to have the absolute best care. Unfortunately I have tried to make my dog an appointment 3 times over the last month. Tammy, the front desk lady has made this experience miserable, including hanging up on me, being rude, impatient and very unhelpful. Animals are like our children and they are also very expensive. All needed was an estimate on what I would be paying as I know it would be on the upside of $600-$900. I asked that if she did not know, could she have someone call me back that could be more helpful at which point she hung up on me. Today I called for the 3rd time and explained that it was an emergency as my dog has a tooth abscess that has broken through the skin and they said there was no availability until April. Seeing as I have been trying to make this appointment for over a month, the lady said it wasn't there fault they are too booked to fit her in. The only reason I have given one star is because I could not post this review without selecting one. It is sad because I more than trust my dog with the doctors. The last time we were in, Dr. Haley was walking around with her after her surgery because, "She was sweet and did NOT like the kennel." I was so impressed that they took such good care of her. Just left this vet's office which we have used for 4 of our dogs. Took my chihuahua Tika today for a broken due claw. Was told by the lady I assume was the nurse that the doctor wanted to just take a quick look at her before he goes into his next appt. And they took her out of the room. Next thing I know I'm standing in a room listening to my dog screaming/crying out in pain for about 6-7 minutes straight. When they brought her back in the room half of her due claw was removed and bleeding. No medicine was given for pain NEVER WAS I INFORMED THAT IS WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO.. I would have NEVER agreed to that.. I was VERY upset. When I told them they did not have any right to lie and say he just wanted to look at her and then do that to her.. "He" the doctor said he doesn't have to listen to this and walked out of the room which I was not pleased with either and said what did you want me to do???? Well how bout this. I would have loved for you to talk to me... "The owner" and explain the process and then let me explain to you that I could have done the EXACT thing you did at home. but I did NOT because I wanted her to have something for pain before hand.. how bout I am the owner and they at NO POINT ASKED MY PERMISSION NOR DID THEY EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WERE PLANNING ON DOING. I NEVER EVEN SEEN THE DOCTOR UNTIL AFTER HE REMOVED HALF OF HER CLAW WHILE I STOOD IN THE ROOM AND WAS FORCED TO LISTEN TO HER SCREAMING/ CRYING FOR AROUND 6-7 MINUTES STRAIGHT... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET TO ANYONE AFTER TODAY. I CANT EVEN BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED RIGHT NOW MYSELF.. also when I mentioned to this doctor that he didn't even have my permission to touch her. He said I didn't do anything to her..... So I said how then is half of her due claw removed.. beware people I am now on the way to take her to another vet to have them look at what they did to her. You cannot find a vet more compassionate than Dr. Haley. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, kind, and informative. He truly goes above and beyond. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for my lizard. I went to this clinic because he was highly recommended to me, and I will continue to drive the 45 minutes it takes for me to get there in order to have my other pets see him as well. My name is Brooklyn. I spoke with someone at your office several different days last week about my 4 week old kitten. After being told numerous times that it wasn't necessary to bring Bleu in, yesterday around 6, i called and spoke with TWO DIFFERENT emergency Vets on call last night and I described all of my kittens symptoms to her and she said its because it was full and tired and that it was going to be okay. So a few hours later, it worsened, I called again around 1:20a.m. and the Vet on call wasn't answering. So she told me she would call me back in 30 minutes to see if I had spoken with someone, by the time she called, he still hadn't contacted me. As I am on the phone with the lady, the vet on call sent her a text telling her to send me to the Vet in Murfreesboro. Kinslow is 5 minutes from my house, I want to know WHY i was being sent to an office OUT OF TOWN when the Vet on call is being paid to help these animals??!!!!! My kitten died of fading kitten syndrome, it's 3 stages to this. My kitten was in the beginning when i spoke to the first Vet and WHY didn't she recognize the symptoms i listed for her? My kitten was dying and I was being told there was nothing wrong. I was up until 6am with my kitten, that died of being lethargic lastnight, because I couldn't get a vet to come see her. I have everything documented, pictures, videos, voice recordings of the phone calls and everything else I need. My lawyer has all of the Information and will be contacting you VERY soon. Mugly was brought to #Kinslows on friday October 7th. By monday morning they called my dad to have him come say his goodbyes. I knew something was wrong so i BEGGED him to bring Mugley home, and get him away from that place. Dad listened, PRAISE GOD. I then called the clinic to get the list of medications dr amy had administered. When i learned they had given Muggles an OPIATE that could knock out a 200lb MAN, IFLIPPEDY'ALL. For those of you unfamiliar with opiates, they do the MOST damage to the kidney and liver. So you can see my concern when i found out they had given him, not one, but TWO doses of this drug in less than a 48 hour period. The people who "cared" for Muggles, nearly killed him. He's been home, OFF ALL MEDS, for 39 or so hours and in that time he's managed to pee numerous times, poop, its runny, but no longer bloody. He's drinking water, and keeping it down, and he's eating, WILLINGLY. They charged my Dad over $500 to nearly KILL his dog.Read Less

They have had to put two of my beloved fur babies to sleep for me and were very thoughtful and considerate with me for both animals. They also do a wonderful job for check ups and regular visits. My dog is all up to date on her shots at our vet. And borded her up at kinslow while we was on vacation and a 3 day $60 stay for her turned into a $150 3 day stay with kinslow with all their hidden fees 2 fees they told us about and one they did not and all they could say was they are sorry.  We will definitely NOT take our dog back here and definitely not recommend this place . For the average pet owner or agricultural farmer, this vet probably is ok...if you can get past the rude employees and no one listening about what you have to say when you provide them info. The vets themselves are decent but don't expect anything beyond mediocre. I own a lot of animals, have the means to vet them all and provide a lot of income to whichever vet I choose to use. I'm so heartbroken at the loss of the best vet I have ever met (dr wheeler) and I'm still on the search for a vet like him. I prefer a vet office that will take my phone calls when I have a question and that will treat me like a valued customer/friend. Unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. A co-worker raved at how friendly and efficient the staff were. They were open on Saturday mornings so I thought I'd give Kinslow a try. I arrived about 8:45 am and they were busy. I had called the day before and found they only take walk-in's. I entered and went to the front desk expecting a greeting and to obtain the new patient paperwork. The girl told me to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. I assumed she was finishing a payment and would get back with me when she hung up the phone. She did the same to another client. Even while on the phone I noticed she was greeting people she knew and pulling their files. She disappeared and the "customer friendly" receptionist stepped in. She asked several people that had entered and approached the desk if they had been there before. If I hadn't driven for an hour from Carthage I would have walked out. At this point as I stepped forward to get in the line, I knew the girl had purposely, for some reason, disrespected me. I have an English bulldog and they are not the healthiest of breeds. My poor pup has hip dysplaysia, dimodex and also allergies. I've just moved to Lebanon and this clinic was referred by a very close friend and all I have to say is that I'm a happy camper as this clinic is great value for money and also the staff are superior. This clinic is not the showiest place but it is the most compassionate clinic I'v ever been to. My dog was in extreme pain. My regular vet would not see him for 2 days or even give me pain meds for him. I called Kinslow and within an hour I saw Dr Lucas, she diagnosed him, gave him pain meds and antibiotics. She explained everything to me about the meds and his problem which turned out will be a life long condition. She told me to call her if I had any questions or if he did not improve with the meds. I wouldn't really recommend this place even though I have gone here for years. They are less expensive than some other vets and close to our house so we continue to go. However I have had a bad experience boarding once so never did that again. The dog was picked up in horrible condition, don't board here. Also when our dog was neutered he wasn't sent home with any pain meds and bled quite a lot and was in severe pain, suffering for 2 days until the office was open again. This also happened to someone else I know, not getting pain meds which is standard and shouldn't be forgotten. I'd say spend a little more money and find a better vet and for boarding go to Little Paws in Hermitage it's a great place. Read Less

After my vet wouldn't help my pregnant Yorkie unless we gave them 15 hundred with a down payment of at least half (it was after hours and considered an ER visit, the non ER visit was between 6 and 8 hundred) I was advised to call Kinslow. When I called they said bring her right in, not only did they save her life they saved one of the 2 pups she was having!!! I won't say exactly what they charged me but I will tell you that I could have afforded even the ER visit because it was a mere fraction of what MY vet, who I have been going to for years, was going to charge and sadly enough had I called the night before when her labor started we could have saved the other pup. This is the best vet I've ever had, and we drive 26 miles out of our way to go there. It is worth every minute, they are SO kind, skilled and just amazing to deal with. Our dog had to have surgery and our cat has cancer. They gave us care above and beyond the norm or required and we had total peace about the decisions made.
