My Mother In Law took our beloved Apollo into this clinic two months ago for surgery on his ACL, after months of them overmedicating him and constantly prescribing him antibiotics and giving my MIL the go around, just like they did me and Jordan, Apollo passed away this morning. This clinic only wants your money! They want to keep your animals sick so they can keep racking in the dough. To my friends and family in Loudon County, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. We ended up having to take Lester to another Vet last year to actually fix his wounds thoroughly for a MUCH more reasonable price. This clinic deserves a lawsuit. If you value your animal’s life, do not let these Vets see your pet. We recommend Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic. Their veterinarian there is so sweet and actually cares about your pet.

The most expensive vet I’ve ever been to. My cat was attacked and I took him into this clinic, they found one wound out of two and stitched it up and charged me $380. I found the other wound when I got home (without any pain meds for him) and had to take him back in and got charged another $122 for their mistake. Incredibly upset with this veterinarian’s office. Every single phone call I exchanged with them over a week’s time, they had something different to say, it’s rabies or cat leukemia. They literally know nothing. Don’t take your animal here.

Raven and the rest of the staff are so very patient with my especially difficult shih tzu. Plus, I have the peace of mind that there's a veterinarian readily available for any potential issues while he is groomed under sedation. I also like having easier access to keeping his immunizations current since they keep me informed of any that need to be done while I'm there for Bentley's 6 week groom. Highly recommend

I would highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic to take care of your fur babies. We have two and have only received excellent care. We have had a couple of emergency visits and Dr O'Brien has came in immediately to assist us. She is compassionate and understands a fur baby parent gets upset and she tends to their needs too. One night she even kept my Peyton at her house too keep an eye on him. I was so worried about him being at the clinic over night. Thank goodness for a clinic like this in our small town.

I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.Let me start off by saying I made an appointment for all three of my furbabies to go in and get their nails trimmed and get updated on all their shots, Kodiak, my Siberian husky, has to be lightly sedated because he freaks out when you try to cut them. Ok. Dropped them off at 8am. They told me they'd call me when they were done with them. I went to Pigeon Forge for the day because my boys could pick them up as we was told it only take a couple hours to do it. Ok. I ended up getting a call from my boys @3:00 saying they haven't been done yet and that I had to leave pigeon forge to pick them up...my sons had to be at work @4:00pm...what??? WHY is it taking so long here to cut bails and give shots??? I had an appointment.I immediately got in my car and got to this place, keeping in mind that's a 45 minute drive from where I'm at- I arrived and was not very happy with them at all. I asked them what was going on. They were busy. Well, I had an appointment with them here. People were waiting in the lobby area waiting for their furbabies. It was a mess.To top it all off, got home and the puppies nails were "ticking" on the hardwood floors. Hmmmmm. Called back up there the next day. Talked to the vet herself. She just got back from vacation. She had NO RECORD that Kodiak was under an anesthetic for his nails. WHAT??? So, I paid for that and it wasn't done. She told me to bring them all back in and they would cut their nails for free. NO.They are NOT going back in here. I paid $596.00 for nails to be cut, one to be knocked out while getting that done and all their shots, and to tell me it wasn't done??I don't trust them.I'm still waiting for my care credit card to be credited the amount I paid for my furbabie to be put under anesthesia and nail trims that werent done.Would NOT recommend at all-

Dr. O' Brien has been my vet of choice for over 20 years. I have found her to be knowledgable, compassionate, and kind, and I know that my dogs have had the best care possible. When I have had to make difficult choices for two of my dogs, she and her staff have been patient and compassionate, and made me feel like family. In fact, even though I've moved out of Lenoir City, Animal Medical Clinic of Loudon County is where I continue to take my pets. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. O'Brien because I know she has my pets' best interests at heart.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to book boarding services for my cat before Thanksgiving. They took down all the information and when we brought her in they said "sorry we don't have the reservation and we are full". I had the number on caller ID, the day I called to book, and had all the information. They were not sincerely apologetic and just said we are full. We picked the location beacuse it was very close to come and my cat is very anxious in the carrier. Well luckily another vet clinic was able to get her in, but my poor kitty urinated in the carrier during the long drive there. Terrible service stay away.

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Dr. Heather O'Brien on behalf of the Loudon County Animal Shelter. Her unsurpassed kindness & dedication is so appreciated. She is one of our local Veterinarians that comes to the shelter to spay & neuter our precious animals. She also helps with the Rolling Rescue program our Rescue Coordinator, April Kennedy heads & that is sponsored by the Loudon County Humane Society,so that hundreds of animals a year can be saved!! She discussed the issue my dog was having & gave me some suggestions to try before I had to resort to taking him on a Saturday night to see her. I wouldn't even give these people 1 star!! From the start (2010) we didn't really care for the staff in this office. We continued or dogs' care here in spite of the fact. Every time we visited it was always something other than their annual visits they wanted to test my dogs for, in an attempt to bill for more money. Well this last visit was the final straw. We had to board them due to the fact of leaving for a death in the family. When we dropped them off things were all up to date. We called the first day and they say oh we had to give them the kennel cough shot. Next it was oh your dog has worms, my dogs are indoor dogs and go out in a treated fenced in yard, we consistently check our dogs because we care about them. They proceeded to pretty much call us a liar. And on our bill there was no test shown to prove the worm test was even done. First they say it's caused from fleas 6 months ago, which is the type of worm you will notice in their stool, then they say oh you can't see them only with a microscope. When we got home they refused to give us our dogs and kept them 1 more day, because it was Sunday but we were told from one of the associates that they do sometime release them on Sunday, but they refused. The first day back home we realize they have crazy diareha, oh they say that's from stress and we just noticed on Sunday. Well looking at the bill we notice that they bathed the dogs Thursday and we noticed they had to of washed their bedding as well so our guess is they had this diareha since then and did nothing about it. I just wanted to let others know before they decide to use their services. They say they'll treat your animal as their own but I can tell you that's not true at all.

The most expensive vet I’ve ever been to. My cat was attacked and I took him into this clinic, they found one wound out of two and stitched it up and charged me $380. I found the other wound when I got home (without any pain meds for him) and had to take him back in and got charged another $122 for their mistake. Incredibly upset with this veterinarian’s office. Plus, I have the peace of mind that there's a veterinarian readily available for any potential issues while he is groomed under sedation. I also like having easier access to keeping his immunizations current since they keep me informed of any that need to be done while I'm there for Bentley's 6 week groom. Highly recommend

I would highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic to take care of your fur babies. We have two and have only received excellent care. We have had a couple of emergency visits and Dr O'Brien has came in immediately to assist us. She is compassionate and understands a fur baby parent gets upset and she tends to their needs too. One night she even kept my Peyton at her house too keep an eye on him. I was so worried about him being at the clinic over night. Thank goodness for a clinic like this in our small town.

When I have had to make difficult choices for two of my dogs, she and her staff have been patient and compassionate, and made me feel like family. I would like to take this oppertunity to thank Dr. Heather O'Brien on behalf of the Loudon County Animal Shelter. Her unsurpassed kindness & dedication is so appreciated. She is one of our local Veterinarians that comes to the shelter to spay & neuter our precious animals. She also helps with the Rolling Rescue program our Rescue Coordinator, April Kennedy heads & that is sponsored by the Loudon County Humane Society,so that hundreds of animals a year can be saved!! Thanx Dr. O'Brien we love you!!

The ripped me off. It was supposed to cost $185 to get my dog fixed. When I picked him up it was $385. I would not go there.

The employees are friendly and my animals are always happy to see them! They have competitive pricing with a great location. They have cute reminder cards for your next appointment with stickers for your calendar. They have thorough vet care every time I go and my fur babies sure love Dr. O'Brien. Highly recommend!! Also while you wait you can always enjoy a donut next door :)

Had taken my dogs back in March for their yearly check up & shots. So tonight I had to call after hours emergency number & Heather called me right back within 4 minutes. Wow! She discussed the issue...
Had taken my dogs back in March for their yearly check up & shots. So tonight I had to call after hours emergency number & Heather called me right back within 4 minutes. Wow! She discussed the issue my dog was having & gave me some suggestions to try before I had to resort to taking him on a Saturday night to see her. I'm so impressed that she took the time to return my call & help. I will definitely be using her always!

Sat in this office for over an hour past the appointment time and still ended up leaving before they even seen my dog. Staff had plenty of time to chit chat and horseplay but not take care of business...

Staff had plenty of time to chit chat and horseplay but not take care of business I'm not there to make friends and laugh and joke I'm there to get my dog looked and and made well again.

I wouldn't even give these people 1 star!! From the start (2010) we didn't really care for the staff in this office. We continued or dogs' care here in spite of the fact. Every time we visited it was always something other than their annual visits they wanted to test my dogs for, in an attempt to bill for more money. Well this last visit was the final straw. We had to board them due to the fact of leaving for a death in the family. When we dropped them off things were all up to date. We called the first day and they say oh we had to give them the kennel cough shot. Next it was oh your dog has worms, my dogs are indoor dogs and go out in a treated fenced in yard, we consistently check our dogs because we care about them. They proceeded to pretty much call us a liar. And on our bill there was no test shown to prove the worm test was even done. First they say it's caused from fleas 6 months ago, which is the type of worm you will notice in their stool, then they say oh you can't see them only with a microscope. When we got home they refused to give us our dogs and kept them 1 more day, because it was Sunday but we were told from one of the associates that they do sometime release them on Sunday, but they refused. The first day back home we realize they have crazy diareha, oh they say that's from stress and we just noticed on Sunday. Well looking at the bill we notice that they bathed the dogs Thursday and we noticed they had to of washed their bedding as well so our guess is they had this diareha since then and did nothing about it. I just wanted to let others know before they decide to use their services. They say they'll treat your animal as their own but I can tell you that's not true at all.

I have taken my dogs to Dr O'Brien for 8 years and will continue to do so. Everyone there is so nice and take good care of my dogs when they are sick or when I have to go out of town. A+
