Dr. Kara & her staff are absolutely wonderful! She won my heart soon after she came when she neither wrestled my Bull Mastiff onto a table or looked down at him. She greeted him, then knelt down to his level as she got to know him and examine him. He, of course, just loved the personalized attention. Dr. Kara has lots of both knowledge and compassion. I have needed both and found it there. Another thing I find useful is that you can get a workup of anticipated charges for tests, x-rays, surgery, whatever she recommends in advance of that treatment. I have never been surprised by a bill that I had no idea would be so high. And she offers various treatment options if more than one route is available. I changed due to having to wait forever to see the Doctor. I was probably spoiled because the doctor I loved past away with cancer. He treated my cat and dog as if they were his. Also, this clinic doesn't suggest a ceremony to the family and I was told that all animals that aren't buried by the owner are throw into this huge hole with thousands of others. It's hard when you take your pet to their clinic there is a cat that roams around and it bothers a lot of animals. About 2 years ago by dog was having trouble with ticks. She didn't give her the chewable medicine, she recommended a tick collar that cost $85.00 and it made my dog very sick. I took it off of her and she got back to herself in a couple of days. My  favorite assistant moved to the business I chose. She loves on every animal and treats them as if they were her own. Read Less

We had a great experience with Dr. Kara at Loudon County Animal Hospital. She graciously worked us in on a Saturday morning to see our cat that was having difficulty breathing. The prices for the physical examination, tests, and medication were very fair. She was very caring and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We highly recommend LCAH, and we would visit again. Don't judge a place by its cover..this doctor is very thorough.  Came in today with an outside cat that needed help with swollen cheeks, behind the ears. They are doing alot of tests and an aspiration as well to see what it could be.I would recommend this doctor. You can tell she really loves the pets, she loves on them.Pets take to her, which is a good thing.ALOT cheaper then most vets in the area.They have packages (see pictures) that save you lots of $$ for shots etc..She gives you an estimate before doing any procedure--Very nice staff as well.Would highly recommend this place-- Read Less

I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone with furry friends. Their staff is very friendly and know my pets by name. They interact with them as if they were their own.  We are always seen promptly even when we don't have an apppointment. If ever there is a short wait, my dogs and I are entertained by the friendly receptionist.  This usually involves a treat for my canine friend.  The veterinarian is very thourough during exams and takes time with me, the pet owner, to explain what is going on and what needs to be done.  The prices are cheaper than other vets in the area and they even have puppy and adult dog packages you can buy that take the price down even further. When any of our pets have had a procedure done, they always call to check and see how they are doing.  My experience with this clinic has been nothing but positive and I can't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. Wonderful facility! The staff is extremely affectionate towards my dogs and treat them with the upmost care. They are very attentive to our needs and always see us right away. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be taken care of.  Also, their prices are significantly lower than other vets in the area.  The employees form a personal relationship with the animals and constantly check in to make sure they are doing well.  Thomas and Marci love going to visit their buddies at the Loudon County Animal Hospital! My Yorkie had a limp so I called Loudon County Animal Hospital for an appointment. After describing her ailment Dr. Kara Campadonico's told me to come right then. She was able to assure me there was no break or puncture in her paw. We discussed medicine to relieve my dogs joint dysplasia. I had my younger Yorkie with me so she looked at him as well. They go above and beyond to work with my family and I in ensuring the needs of my pets are met.
