Cloverleaf Animal Clinic

We are new to the area and started having some issues with our 10 year old dog. We found Cloverleaf Animal clinic as a google search and took a chance. We are so glad we did! Even when my pup got a little nervous and left an present on the floor, they didn't bat an eye. The staff is great and the vet is amazing. She took her time letting Muttley warm up to her before proceeding to examine him. The lab tests came back super quick and Dr. Manfield called me herself with the results and suggestions on what to do next. They truly enjoy their jobs and extend the love to your pets. Whether a problem large or small the doctor or tech has taken the time to explain the medical issues, answer my questions and most importantly provided expert care for my beloved dogs through out their lifetimes and stood beside me at the end. I highly recommend Cloverleaf - the staff that work at the reception desk are ALWAYS friendly and smiling. I recently had an emergency on a Sunday when they were closed and had to go to Animal Emergency Center, but I was able to get an appointment early the next day with our regular vet, Dr. Williams, for a check up. Dr. Williams was very kind and was able to answer all of my questions. I was even able to call and speak with someone a few days later when I had another question. I've been going to Cloverleaf for almost 10 years now. My primary vet is Dr. Mansel, though all of the the vets on staff have seen my pets at some point. The practice is exceptional. Not only are the vets among the most caring and diligent that I have dealt with in Memphis, they are also always seeking to improve care and expand/adapt to latest practices. Since I have the most experience with Dr. Mansel, I can say that she treats my animals with such expertise and has an amazing intuition (of course, based on years of practice) that has always resulted in the best possible treatment of my pets. I trust her judgment implicitly. The staff (vet techs and front desk) are mostly long-term employees who are very knowledgeable and friendly. I frequently board my dogs there and my dogs are always excited as soon as they see Kevin, who oversees the boarding facility, which, if you have dogs, you know is a great endorsement for how they are treated when you leave them with someone else. I am always confident in Cloverleaf for whatever services my pets need. I could not recommend this practice more highly.Read Less

I've taken my pets to several different vets in town, and Cloverleaf is the best by far. The staff is friendly and caring, and Dr. Pearce is an expert in ultrasounds! One of my dogs has some very odd symptoms and abnormalities with his heart, and he's been extremely diligent in helping make sure we keep him comfortable and around for as long as possible. We were faithful patrons of Cloverleaf Animal Clinic for six years. They were great for routine checkups and kennel stays. Unfortunately when our pet had a real health crisis, they really let us down. Our vet ordered several tests and a 48-hour hospital stay, and then said he'd be in touch with the results on Monday. By midday on Wednesday, I called thinking that no news meant good news, received word that he was on vacation for 10 days and that one of the other vets would call us back when they could. This news shocked me, as I had spoken with our vet and his tech on the phone and in person several times before and during the hospital stay, and they never mentioned that anyone besides our vet would call us...or not call us. When the other vet called, she called to deliver bad test results in a very clipped manner. After weeks of worry, this news (and the way it was delivered) was devastating. After considering our options, we decided to seek out a new vet, go through more tests and schedule another ultrasound with a specialist. I realize that not everyone can afford to switch vets in the middle of treatment and repeat tests, so I wanted to make our story known. Your pet deserves the best medical treatment and truly compassionate care. If you feel you aren't getting that, it's time to find a new vet or at least get a second opinion. Read Less

I have been with Cloverleaf Animal Clinic for over a decade and my pets have been well treated, healed, and loved by the exceptionally attentive staff! Every doctor will talk to you and discuss procedures, options, etc. The clinic is clean and welcoming. The staff is knowledgable and quick to respond with efficiency and kindness. I will not be taking my dog back to Cloverleaf.  We had some bad experiences with one of the doctors here and didn't realize just how bad it was until we switched to another animal clinic which is amazing  The office is pretty dirty and the doctor we saw was not thorough on trying to determine what exactly our dogs issue was. The staff is very friendly but that is about the only good thing about this place. Read Less

My service was horrible, My puppy ""Mocha"" was hit by a car and had a broken leg. I took Mocha to the Animal Hospital and they put a splint and bandage on her broken leg and all was well until i went to Cloverleaf Animal Clinic. The first visit went well, Melissa Healy performed the check-up and Mocha did not need her bandage replaced at that time, and i understood that. Then i was advised to bring my dog back every two weeks to have the bandage replaced, so i returned with a friend of mine to have the bandage replaced,Melissa Healy, stated that the bandage was in good condition and clean so there was no reason to mess with it, so she placed a bandage over the original one. Then we took mocha back again when it was her time to have the bandage replaced, well they didn't want to mess with it then either, and wrapped another bandage over the first two layers. Then I took her again and Melissa Healy still did not want to mess with her bandage so she placed another bandage on the three layers of bandages she already had on. well finally i took MOCHA back tuesday March 12th 2012 to have ALL of the bandages removed and the technicians discovered Mocha had pressure sores all up and down her leg from the splint. At this point i could not afford more x-rays and they wouldn't even let me see the sores Mocha had. When i confronted Melissa Healy about how the problem could have been prevented or discovered earlier if they would have replace the bandages sooner like i paid for she accused me of telling her ""i told her not to replace them"", even though i paid for the service several times, she as well as the front desk staff laughed about the situation and were very unprofessional, and even cruel. If you love your animal as much as i do u will not go to Cloverleaf Animal Clinic. I am taking further action against them because Mocha is in worse condition now then she was when the accident occurred. Her paw is so swollen is is unrecognizable and she can not even put pressure on it, there are sores all up and down her leg pouring with blood and puss. And This Could Have Been Prevented If They Did Their Job. Read Less

I cannot say enough good things about Cloverleaf. I have multiple cats and two dogs, and the care all of them have received at Cloverleaf is excellent. I primarily see Dr. Renai Mansel, but have also seen Dr. Jeff Pearce, Dr. Ambrose and Dr. Robinson. All are caring, knowledgable and thorough vets. The vet tech staff and reception staff are also helpful, friendly and caring. You can tell by the way everyone there treats the animals that these people are in business because of their love of animals - not just to make money. I have gone through a couple of extremely difficult situations with some of my animals and the vets both working separately and together have been amazing at diagnosing, coming up with a treatment plan and all the while explaining to me all the options. I would have no hesitation recommending Cloverleaf to anyone. Read Less
