Ive been a client of raines road animal clinic about 3 yrs. Mostly we have been satisfied. The grooming is not the best. My dog, a lasha apso is furry, I like that. The groomer cuts him too short. I am specific in what i want. She shaved all the hair off his face, about 8 months ago, they apologized. I took him.to a different groomer, happy with them. Had to go out of town last week, unexpected. Took andy to be boarded, asked for a bath, and  trim his paws only. Picked him up, his face completely shaved. Paws not trimmed. Needless to say, they apologized. Didn't deduct from my bill. Picked him up monday, 5/1/2017. Tuesday he howled in pain when i touched his ear. The left side of his head has a inch long slash. It was bleeding and sore to the touch. I m so angry. I wont use them again. I think they need a new groomer. d. Read Less

very very costly boarding fees,in fact all animal services are costly at this establishment.after spending $276,00 for a 7 day stay and being a loyal customer was refused a complimentary bath for my animal, I got the message,must move on,oh yes when first boarding your animals you are given one price,when returning to pickup your animal the price has increased significantly,my advice is to get the price in writing before boarding, I don't want this type of flip and flop practice to happen to anybody else Read Less

I found out about the Raines Road Animal Hospital through the Graceland website because I had to find someway to visit Graceland and all the other Memphis attractions that don't allow pets.  At $10 per dog for daytime boarding till 5:30pm, the prices were quite reasonable.  They open at 7:30am.I can't say enough about the level of service that was provided!  When I brought my doggies in the other day for the boarding, I thought I'll have their rabies shots done as well since they were there the whole day.  However, to my surprise, they mistakenly thought I wanted the whole vaccination package that was several times more!  Even more surprisingly, they just charged me for the rabies vaccination and the boarding after I informed them that there must be a mistake.  If I lived in the Memphis area, I would change my vet to them just for the honesty and integrity.  However, since I'm just visiting, the only thing I can do is to spread the word to other Yelpers about how great they are!  Please pay them a visit if you need boarding for your pet during your stay in Memphis!  I know I will the next time I am in town.Plenty of parking up front and credit cards are accepted.
