Incredibly caring staff. Unfortunately, my BFF/Sister had to put down her beloved cat, Bubba. She had him for I believe 20 years, so letting go was rather traumatic. Utopia eased the pain and even had a candle and sign in the lobby alerting others there was a sad situation occurring. Amazing amazing amazing. Thank you! Also- fresh lemon water on a hot day.

Dr. Clay and her staff are wonderful, compassionate people. I took my 10 year old dog there for a physical and to look at a tumor under his eye. The staff and doctor were all friendly and made my dog feel at ease while he was there. They spent 15-20 minutes talking with me about his health and the concerns I had. He did have to have antibiotics and cortisol pills but they also made recommendations for things to take care of his arthritis that I can get over the counter. Their prices were very reasonable. I would definitely take my dog there again and highly recommend them.

Dr Clay is so kind and compassionate. Just one of many examples is when a dear friend passed away suddenly, I took his 16 yo old blind and deaf terrier there. "Jack" was euthanized without charge but then she spent time w me as i grieved. I did pay the small fee for the contractor's removal. Although she can't be expected to do this regularly, i will always be grateful for the kindness she and and all at Utopia show me at every visit.

The process was quick and the staff was professional. We took our cat to 2 other vets in town and they both mis-diagnosed the cause of his chronic wheezing. It was an 11 month long odyssey to figure out what was wrong with him but Dr. Jen immediately took him for an X-ray and correctly diagnosed him as being asthmatic. She was friendly, professional, willing to sit with us and answer all of our questions, she charged a rate that was MUCH lower than either of the other 2 vets we went to, and she had the medications he needed on-hand for an extremely reasonable price. So happy we finally found a vet home in Memphis, would recommend to anyone!

(Please read this before going to Utopia) I went in a month ago because my cat was limping & had cuts on his paws & one eye. The Dr. was snappy & acted like she didn't care but, she took my cat in the back. I asked the front desk what was going on & should I come back.
She said, it was OK for me to go. 15 mins. later, I was driving down the street & she called me. I told her to call me back when I'm not driving.
When, I got home she called me again & told me it was just an animal attack & that she gave him a shot for infection, checked him for broken bones & was going to give me pills to give my cat for inflammation.
I gave him his medication & he got worse, it has been a month & he can't walk, eat or use his litter box without me. Every time I try to pick him up or touch him he cries in pain. he still can't us his front paws. The vet charged me $159, it did help my cat & she acted like she didn't care. Don't waste your time with this animal hospital, she doesn't care & will lie to you. Please remember my cat & the pain he's going threw.

Go here for your furbabies! The staff is beyond sweet, helpful, and well educated. The second we walked in we felt at ease. Dr.Jen was awesome and did everything she could to help our fur baby Molly feel better. I had a good feeling entering this building and I had a even better feeling leaving. I felt relieved and like Molly was well taken care of and cared about. We will be back and hopefully with referrals to help with Mollys future visits! Thank you guys!

My Weimaraner Bentley is my best friend, words cannot express the love I have for that dude. He has gotten me through the roughest times of my life. So naturally, when my best friend is sick, I take him to the best possible care facility I can find. That, without question, is Utopia. They are the sweetest, most caring folks I've ever met. The vibe is more "day care" than vets office. I don't feel bad leaving him, despite his whining. When I pick him up, he's a happy camper!!!OH! Not to mention - THE most affordable option I've ever come across as well. I asked how much they'd charge to cut his toenails when I picked him up just now, and they'd already done it!!!!! Free!Love these guys. They also give a $25 credit if you refer a friend.

I have a cat who gets very scared about going to the vet and they are really great with him there. The doctor and the whole staff are very sweet and caring, and they make a trip to the office as easy as possible. They're respectful of your time and money, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. If it weren't so hard to get there during normal business hours we would get everything done at Utopia for all of our animals.

We took our cat to 2 other vets in town and they both mis-diagnosed the cause of his chronic wheezing. It was an 11 month long odyssey to figure out what was wrong with him but Dr. Jen immediately took him for an X-ray and correctly diagnosed him as being asthmatic. She was friendly, professional, willing to sit with us and answer all of our questions, she charged a rate that was MUCH lower than either of the other 2 vets we went to, and she had the medications he needed on-hand for an extremely reasonable price. So happy we finally found a vet home in Memphis, would recommend to anyone!

Recommended after a dog attacked my dog at the dog park, this vet was the closest and stayed open for our arrival. We've been with them ever since. Small, friendly staff and a family workplace. Her kids are there after school. Love working with her.

(Please read this before going to Utopia) I went in a month ago because my cat was limping & had cuts on his paws & one eye. The Dr. was snappy & acted like she didn't care but, she took my cat in the back. I asked the front desk what was going on & should I come back.
She said, it was OK for me to go. 15 mins. later, I was driving down the street & she called me. I told her to call me back when I'm not driving.
When, I got home she called me again & told me it was just an animal attack & that she gave him a shot for infection, checked him for broken bones & was going to give me pills to give my cat for inflammation.
I gave him his medication & he got worse, it has been a month & he can't walk, eat or use his litter box without me. Every time I try to pick him up or touch him he cries in pain. he still can't us his front paws. The vet charged me $159, it did help my cat & she acted like she didn't care. Don't waste your time with this animal hospital, she doesn't care & will lie to you. Please remember my cat & the pain he's going threw.

Go here for your furbabies! The staff is beyond sweet, helpful, and well educated. The second we walked in we felt at ease. Dr.Jen was awesome and did everything she could to help our fur baby Molly feel better. I had a good feeling entering this building and I had a even better feeling leaving. I felt relieved and like Molly was well taken care of and cared about. We will be back and hopefully with referrals to help with Mollys future visits! Thank you guys!

Utopia is the best vet clinic we have ever taken our fur Children to. Compassionate, caring and all around great staff. Dr. Jen Shepherd Clay is the best vet ever! When our Ginger suddenly passed away after hours on a Saturday Dr Clay met us at her clinic and took her to be cremated. She did this on her own time. She was as upset as we were on Gingers passing. She loved Gingers trips for her regular check ups because Ginger would do all.of her tricks for Dr. Clay really loves animals and her actions prove it...

My Weimaraner Bentley is my best friend, words cannot express the love I have for that dude. He has gotten me through the roughest times of my life. So naturally, when my best friend is sick, I take him to the best possible care facility I can find. That, without question, is Utopia. They are the sweetest, most caring folks I've ever met. The vibe is more "day care" than vets office. I don't feel bad leaving him, despite his whining. When I pick him up, he's a happy camper!!!OH! Not to mention - THE most affordable option I've ever come across as well. I asked how much they'd charge to cut his toenails when I picked him up just now, and they'd already done it!!!!! Free!Love these guys. They also give a $25 credit if you refer a friend.

This is a great place to take your animal! They truly care about fur babies and their well being. They are always super nice and helpful. I've been going for a couple of years now and even though I moved 45 minutes away I still take my dog child here! Highly recommended. Dr. Clay is friendly and very knowledgeable. She is always willing to work with you to provide the best care for your four legged friends!

I have a cat who gets very scared about going to the vet and they are really great with him there. The doctor and the whole staff are very sweet and caring, and they make a trip to the office as easy as possible. They're respectful of your time and money, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. If it weren't so hard to get there during normal business hours we would get everything done at Utopia for all of our animals.
