I have been using Dr. Johnson’s services since the mid 90’s and I really do not trust another vet with my babies. I trust him fully and follow his instructions to the letter. He treated my yorkie when I thought I might lose him; he helped me nurse him back to living a normal life. I had a 19 year old cairn mix that he cared for and saw me through to her final day. There’s not enough good things I can say about him and his team. Very thankful and blessed to have him as our veterinarian. Read Less

Best Veterinarian we have ever used. For over 20 years he has taken care many of our family members animals. Some had pretty serious health problems he had to resolve. Dr Johnson has our total trust. Great office staff. Read Less

Doc Johnson is the most amazing vet and person! The staff is super friendly. They all understand that your pets aren't just pets, they're family. Dr Johnson is awesome HOWEVER his office staff is EXTREMELY RUDE. No one greets you upon entering instead they give you a death stare. After paying for my pets treatment LINDSEY or however her name is pronounced basically threw my receipt on the counter and never thanked me. I really wish Dr. Johnson would do something about his rude office help because those bitter women are HORRIBLE! Read Less

Do not go here if you want customer service because obviously the women who works the front desk have NONE. Dr Johnson does great work for great prices but I'll be switching my pets to a new vet based on my past experiences here. It was  awesome when Melody was the only one working the front area. Over the years this place has gone downhill with customer service. Hopefully something will be done about ladies attitude who works in the front. Not sure if I was being discriminated against  because I'm Hispanic and the staff are white.But I'll steer away from this place. Read Less

I have been using this clinic since early 90's. Dr. Johnson has managed to solve problems and return my pets to a healthy life. He and his staff are the best I have encountered. Our pets are comfortable with him even when they are frightened. He puts them right at ease. We love him.Read Less

(NEGATIVE STARS)I bought a LOCAL (Memphis) AKC puppy that was 'checked out' by this clinic and said it 'was healthy'. The pup got sick after having him 2.5 days, and was diagnosed with PARVO, hook works, and coccidea on 3rd day by MY VET. Why wasn't this decected? Because they didn't even do a fecal exam, which would have revealed all of these diseases and prevented my family from the heartache of a dying puppy and the expense of trying to save him!!! Dr. Johnson and his Staff are extremely incredible. I have an abused smaller dog terrified of any vet and the first day we walked in Dr. Johnson approached my dog without hesitation. As a dog owner I was terrified, but quickly turned amazed that this terrified dog of mine started wagging his tail and showing affection to a stranger, let alone a vet. From that point on he has been able to do anything and is the ONLY one that does not have to sedate him to do the normal routine things. The pricing is great and set just where it should be for a veterinarian practice and many other vets need to learn it's not all about money, but instead the health of our loved family members. The Staff is on top of everything which makes your wait time pretty much non existent. So...I don't have to spend the day at the vet because they are all organized and beyond friendly. There are too many good things to say about this vet, Dr. Johnson, his Staff and the way he handles has practice. I have personally managed a vet practice and have not had that feeling of care since the vet I worked for retired...Until now. For this feeling I owe many thanks to such a wonderful place as Yale Road Animal Hospital and Dr. Johnson. Read Less
