Blue Oasis Pet Hospital provides veterinary services for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and other pocket pets. We are excited to share in loving care, support, and knowledge. We are located in the Providence area of Mount Juliet, TN.
We're an open door pet hospital. You can be with your pet the entire time, through every procedure. It's a client right. We've experienced that terrible feeling to sit in a room, alone, while someone just took your pet, and you have no idea what is going on. We're glad to end that practice. There is no 'back room' where clients are not allowed in our hospital. Pull up a chair and ask questions. Your pet shouldn't be alone, and neither should you. Your pets want to be with you. We want you to be with them, too.
We strive daily to offer the most modern, scientific, and up-to-date techniques in veterinary medicine. Knowledge is power. Whether it is customized vaccines, the fastest and most comprehensive in-house lab results, or the latest surgical techniques, we make sure that the most accurate and effective tools and care is available.

Blue Oasis Pet Hospital is a low stress facility. It's a totally different philosophy than the traditional pet hospital. We love to give them lots of treats during their visit, we have special pheromone diffusers to help promote a calming environment, and we take our time with your pet. We want you to be with your pet during procedures that you feel comfortable with so they are calmed by you too.
We're the highest ranked Pet Hospital in the Mt. Juliet area for client satisfaction. Google, Yelp, and Facebook give us the highest rank from our customers.
We are an AAHA accredited hospital.
Not all animal hospitals are accredited. Nearly 60% of pet owners think their pet's veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not. In fact, only about 3,600 (12-15%) animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited. Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited.
What does accreditation mean? It means your hospital holds itself to a higher standard, and that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that has passed 900 highest standards in veterinary care.

I have been going here since I got my puppy, about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Dr. Lucas is intelligent, patient, and kind. She is really very smart and I have always trusted her with my Dog. Even when she neutered him, she was very kind and gentle and explained everything in detail. Love her! Unfortunately, her office staff is not the best. They get frustrated easily, aren't very helpful, and don't make my visits or calls convenient. The insurance is great, but the office staff has messed my plan and payments up several times. It has been a hassle time and time again with the office staff on various occasions. I've decided to remove my Dog from this practice for the reason if not wanting to go through the office staff. I hate that it has come to this.

I absolutely love taking my dogs here! Dr. Lucas and staff are extremely helpful and amazing! I've never had a vet that takes their time to explain the procedures to their patients and actually give you the option for you to stay and be present for the whole thing! Not like my previous vet experiences where they don't even remember you or your pet. I definitely recommend this place to everyone! My dogs love coming here. =) You guys are awesome!

I brought my two rat boys here and I LOVE this clinic. Nothing but smiles and friendly people. All the girls there wanted to see my ratties and even gave some advice on them. Dr Lucas was AMAZING she handled my babies like they were her own. She took the time to even get a proper dosage for my rats medication where as I have had to figure it out on my own before. They have definitely gained my loyalty and will be seeing me and my ratties more.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Dr. Lucas and the Blue Oasis team to take care of our fur babies. After a not-so-great experience with our previous vet we were a little more diligent when searching for a new vet after our move. Dr. Lucas came highly recommended and was also experienced in managing our sweet pets' various health conditions. We truly look forward to our visits and trust completely that our "kids" are in capable, caring hands.

I just moved to mount juliet and I'm so glad I found Dr. Lucas. She is a wonderful veternarian...she takes the time to go over everything with you and at no time do you feel rushed. Her staff is also friendly and knowledgable. Also my cat had to have blood drawn and get X-rays and she asked if I wanted to come back and be with my cat through the whole thing. I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Lucas and her staff. I've been taking my dogs to see them for about a year. They are very courteous and professional, and are always happy to explain things to us lay-people. The clinic, exam rooms, and treatment areas are always immaculate. Dr. Lucas even has an open door policy. She let me stay and watch the entire procedure from start to finish when my dog had to get her teeth cleaned, which allayed all my fears and anxieties left over from our last experience (at a different vet). I'm so happy to know my dogs will get excellent care when we go to Blue Oasis Pet Hospital.

I went to Blue Oasis after the recommendation of a fellow Frenchie rescue foster here in Nashville. I went for basic vaccines for my two dogs and cat. Dr. Lucas was kind, efficient and SO personable. She noticed a palpable spleen in my 5 yr old Shepherd mix and offered bloodwork just to double check things (I wish I had done it now). But my budget at that time was maxed so we opted to try a few things and monitor her closely. Two weeks later my Jovie fell very ill. Dr. Lucas got her in right away, and stayed late after close to figure things out (and let me stay and help). Because of my background in Vet Technology, Dr. Lucas let me take her home after one night to administer fluids and medications. Unfortunately, Jovie's kidneys failed and I we lost her a few days later after a brief stay at NVS in Nashville. Dr. Lucas was so kind through it all, and went above and beyond to try and save my baby girl. She called and offered her genuine condolences for our loss. The unique thing about Dr. Lucas is the time and compassion she exudes. I highly recommend this clinic, beautiful building and a wonderful staff, too!

I've never seen a pet hospital that looks so great while being functional and efficient. I only got to stop in here once because I live far away, but I know going to any other vet from now on will just feel like a huge let down.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The doctor does not make you feel rushed and she takes her time explaining everything and answering all of your questions. Plus they make sure to show you an estimate on any procedure that way you know exactly what you're going to be getting yourself into and you can plan accordingly. I absolutely love and highly recommend this place. I also really love that they do not attempt to overmedicate your dog and they are trying to take a more holistic approach. So happy to have them in Mount Juliet!!!

I love the way that Dr. Lucas not only examines the animal, but also shows you what she is doing and let's you look and learn as well. So far we have gotten two of the four pets over to see her. Number Three is coming next week! Everyone there is always so sweet and so accommodating. I would recommend anyone to go and see her and her staff. We will plan for pet number four to go there soon!!

I have been going here since I got my puppy, about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Dr. Lucas is intelligent, patient, and kind. She is really very smart and I have always trusted her with my Dog. She noticed a palpable spleen in my 5 yr old Shepherd mix and offered bloodwork just to double check things (I wish I had done it now). But my budget at that time was maxed so we opted to try a few things and monitor her closely. Two weeks later my Jovie fell very ill. Dr. Lucas got her in right away, and stayed late after close to figure things out (and let me stay and help). Because of my background in Vet Technology, Dr. Lucas let me take her home after one night to administer fluids and medications. Unfortunately, Jovie's kidneys failed and I we lost her a few days later after a brief stay at NVS in Nashville. Dr. Lucas was so kind through it all, and went above and beyond to try and save my baby girl. She called and offered her genuine condolences for our loss. The unique thing about Dr. Lucas is the time and compassion she exudes. I highly recommend this clinic, beautiful building and a wonderful staff, too!

Brought my dog here for the first time today and had a great experience! The vet seems so genuine and charming. All of the staff are really friendly and the facility is new and very nice. And most importantly, they found what was wrong with my dog and treated him promptly.

I've never seen a pet hospital that looks so great while being functional and efficient. I only got to stop in here once because I live far away, but I know going to any other vet from now on will just feel like a huge let down.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The doctor does not make you feel rushed and she takes her time explaining everything and answering all of your questions. Plus they make sure to show you an estimate on any procedure that way you know exactly what you're going to be getting yourself into and you can plan accordingly. I absolutely love and highly recommend this place. I also really love that they do not attempt to overmedicate your dog and they are trying to take a more holistic approach. So happy to have them in Mount Juliet!!!

I love the way that Dr. Lucas not only examines the animal, but also shows you what she is doing and let's you look and learn as well. So far we have gotten two of the four pets over to see her. Number Three is coming next week! Everyone there is always so sweet and so accommodating. I would recommend anyone to go and see her and her staff. We will plan for pet number four to go there soon!!
