If I could give them 0 stars, I would. At first, this vet seemed great. My dog was having a couple different issues, none major, but still a couple things going on. First they helped us get her diarrhea under control and then we moved on to her urinary leaking issues. After several tests and a few hundred dollars, they determined she had a UTI and gave us a prescription and recommended a prescription food. For the largest bag of food, 27.5 lb, it was a little over $100 in their office. So I went online and found a deal with Chewy.com to try to order her food to auto ship every 6 weeks, to help save money on the cost of the food they told us she needed. The doctor at Indian Hills denied the authorization for us to order her food from Chewy and stated that they sold it in their office so they wouldn't approve buying from somewhere else. I asked to talk to the doctor and was told they would give him the message. 2 days later I still had not heard back so I called again. The girl put me on hold to talk to the doctor and came back and told me he would only agree to authorize with Pet Smart since they are local. I said they offer the same service as Chewy but the savings I had was with Chewy and this made no sense. She said she understood but that is all the doctor would agree to do. I told her this was absolutely ridiculous and terrible business practice.... that was the worst thing I said to her at any point. I was frustrated so my tone was not friendly, but I never raised my voice, talked down to her, or anything that would warrant what happened next. My dog finished the antibiotics but started having issues leaking again not long after. My husband called their office to see what we needed to do, as we were even going to break down and just get the first bag of food from them, just so we could get help for our dog. We are new to the area and just needed to get our dog taken care of at this point, and we didn't want to pay another visit fee, when it is something we have already paid and the same issue we already paid them to test and help us with. Well, when my husband called them, the lady that he talked to at first put us on hold so she could consult the doctor with what we needed to do. The doctor picked up the phone and told my husband "due to the Chewy issue, we are not interested in doing business with you anymore". So my husband said, if that is the case, I need her prescription for her food so we can get her what she needs. He said he would give us her records but would not be writing a prescription for anything. My husband tried to explain we needed the prescription to get the food, not just her records. The doctor responded with "well you won't be getting it" and hung up on my husband. Again, the worst thing I said or did was tell them that them trying to force us to buy dog food from them and not allowing us to go a route that would save us money was bad business. And I stand by that statement. After what the doctor did today... I would take that a step further and say this business seems pretty shady. I would for sure avoid using this vet. We now have an appointment with another local vet that has amazing reviews and is not too much further from our house, and their prices are fair. I never write bad reviews... just not my style. But this was the absolute worst experience I have had with any vet, ever. I hope my time writing this review helps someone else keep from wasting their money here. Read Less
