I’m leaving a 2 for one reason, and that’s because I truly do like the actual vet. He’s a cool dude, and helped my dogs out tremendously. HOWEVER, as far as the nail trim staff go.. what in the world are you doing?! (I want to start off by saying they did credit me the cost of the nail trim to my account, but it doesn’t help the fact my babies in pain) I came in Saturday morning for my usual nail trim, and when I left everything seemed fine. I didn’t check their nails because, well, I never have before. I went straight home, placed them in the crate from my car, and helped a friend move for about an hour and a half. When I came back home, it was horrible. My 7lb chihuahua was covered in blood and still bleeding, and my 53lb English Bulldog was licking his paws to the point that they are raw and sensitive to the touch. After cleaning up the blood, stopping the bleeding after almost 2 hours, and cleaning them up, I noticed that almost every nail at been quicked on both dogs. I understand that mistakes happen, but that’s one or two nails... not almost all of them! There was residue on almost all of my chihuahua’s nails from a styptic stick. Upon calling them today, I was notified that there were no notes on the account documenting an injury or anything. I also was not told anything after I was brought back the dogs before paying & leaving. I’m not returning back for nail care, and I may be switching vets in all. I’m just hurting because there’s nothing to help my babies pain. I’m grateful they credited me, but it leaves me uneasy, and I really do like them. just beware and check the nails before you leave! Love the doctors! They take great care of your pet. Just be prepared to wait about an hour during peak times despite have an appointment. Exam rooms can be a little dirty/furry. But I would definitely recommend them. Read Less

As long as Dr Morgan is on staff here - we will be going there! He is genuine, compassionate and a straight shooter. The entire staff are wonderful. On occasion wait times are long, but not consistently. Also- sometimes parking is hard to find even with the additional parking pad. BUT even with those blips - I’ll highly recommend Read Less

We take all our cats and dogs here. They offer great service at a reasonable price. They really do care for your pets and go above to make them more comfortable during their stay. They were very compassionate when we had to have an older dog put to sleep. Read Less

Great Veterinary practice. I've taken several dogs to the vet here and have received excellent and knowledgeable care. The Veterinary assistants are knowledgeable and caring as well. Front office people are very friendly and helpful and scheduling appointments and getting you proper medications for your dog. They also treat your pets with great care. I will go to the vet here as long as I have animals that need care. Read Less

The vet is great, the groomer not so much. I called for 6 straight weeks leaving voicemails each time without a returned call! I finally got the office staff to schedule my dog a hair appointment...which was cancelled at 6:45 in the morning, only 45 minutes before he was supposed to go in. I had to rearrange my entire schedule to get him there so the short notice was not ok, normally I would be understanding but not after 6 repeated weeks of non returned voicemails! Luckily I found another groomer and he will be taken care of this week!! Unfortunately I will have to explain that I'm not a horrible dog owner since he doesn't look taken care of because I was trying to be loyal to his current groomer! Read Less

I cannot say enough about these Docs!!! When my mom moved here her cat was poisoned. Since she was not established with a Vet, it was nearly impossible to get anyone to take her cat. Dr Kinard saw her cat and was so understanding and sympathetic!!! Now her also cares for her other cat and her dog!!! Dr Miller cares for our four dogs!! I love their staff's caring attitude!! Today I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time for the nail trim and anal glands only which takes no more than 5 minutes to do. I noticed everyone around me being called moments after being checked in. When the veterinarian finally called for my dog and came back out with him, she apologized for the wait and told me the receptionist forgot to check me in. Because that wasn't my fault, I asked for a complimentary discount for the inconvenience. The discount was denied. I was very disappointment seeing that I've been bringing my dog here almost 2 years. I was told the service was already discounted because it's normally $28 and I paid $24. However, I am a MTSU student and I am already aware that students receive a discount. Therefore, I wasn't discounted for the inconvenience. The price was never the issue. It was the poor customer service. I felt that the staff was very careless today and I am very disappointed. I normally don't have problems here that's why I've continued to bring my dog here for the last 2 years. But today, I left very disappointed with the customer service I received.Read Less

My dog was seen here last week and diagnosed with a gastrointestinal infection and given an antibiotic...he died today of congestive heart failure because his lungs were COMPLETELY filled with fluid and dr. Morgan should be experienced enough to know the signs and to realize that my dog couldn't breath when I brought him in a week ago. I would not trust their lack of knowledge when it comes to your beloved pets. This could have been prevented by draining the fluid off his lungs. Completely disappointed. He was in too big of a hurry to get off work to worry about saving my dogs life. Read Less

It was tough finding a place that sees exotic pets, so I was glad to get the referral here they were able to see my daughter's fancy mouse ,the same day, within 2 hours!!!!!! Great staff, I even asked the front desk if they could turn the diffuser off since my daughter has asthma and allergies and has reactions to those diffusers- without hesitation, she turned it off.Our wait wasn't too bad ,our visit with doctor Morgan and Miss Betty was great.. they were so helpful I would highly recommend this place. We really do love the Vets--Dr. Kinard and Dr. Haley--but the front office staff has been very rude and unfriendly. My wife called today to get a shot for one of our dogs. She informed the person on the phone that the last time this allergy shot was given we were also charged an exam fee. Dr. Kinard told my wife that if this shot was needed again we would not be charged an exam fee. When my wife told the person on the phone that this was what Dr. Kinard said, she stated to my wife that they must charge an exam fee on any and all visits. My wife told her again that Dr. Kinard said that the exam would not be needed so there would not be a fee. The person on the phone became very rude with my wife and said that a fee would be charged. My wife said to this person "so you are going to charge me a fee for something that is not needed even though Dr. Kinard said that you wouldn't? At this point she was hung up on. Needless to say that we will not be going back to this location which is too bad because we do like the vets--just not too hot on the office staff.Read Less

I take my dog here for vet appointments and to get groomed. His groomer, Jen, does an amazing job. It is very convenient that I can drop him off to get groomed and at the same time he can get his shots and exams done at the same time too. When I schedule appointments to see the vet I always ending waiting past my appointment time. Other than that though the staff here are great! Read Less

I went based on a recommendation and they didn't disappoint!! Rob was wonderful with my dogs and Dr. Kinard was great! I had my hands full with two large dogs and a 13 month old and they helped me to and from the car. Pricing was more reasonable than the other 3 vets I've visited in Murfreesboro over the years. I will never take my pets anywhere else ever again. Kinard Creekside Animal Hospital is the absolute best! My almost 10yr old male tom cat had begun to act lethargic, very weak, and couldn't eat or drink. I suspected he had gotten dehydrated?? As soon as possible I took him to Kinard for an exam and to possibly get some tests run to figure out just exactly what was wrong with him. About an hour later is when I got the bad news phone call that my baby had turned diabetic and was now in a diabetic coma. I couldn't stop crying on the ride back to the animal hospital. When I got there Dr. Kinard told me a personal story about how the same thing happened to one of his cats a long time ago. We discussed options and I decided it best to let him go because I couldn't stand to see him suffering any longer. Dr. Kinard and the ENTIRE staff were so compassionate about what I was going through, they went out of their way to make sure I was ok and for all that they all did I am ETERNALLY grateful!! I hate that my baby boy had to go through all of this, but I know that the caring staff made him as comfortable as possible in his last hours. I am definitely a lifelong client of Dr. Kinard! We never have a long wait time and and the vet also does a wonderful job with the procedure and explaining everything about it. I recently moved to Murfreesboro and adopted two dogs. Our neighbor recommended Dr. K and she was right. Great staff, all caring people, and he serves all pets including reptiles, birds, gerbils, hamsters, plus dogs and cats. He offers a military discount and Care Credit is also available. When my dog was sick, they called 3-4 times a day to give me updates on the progress. I will continue to use Dr. K while living here. Read Less

They are awesome. My dogs are prone to growths and cancers. They do a great job of keeping them in check, letting me know which ones need to be removed, which ones are benign, and which ones should be watched. I've never been shocked by a bill or given advice I found suspect. They have a good, no nonsense, science based approach. Read Less

I totally recommend taking your pets here!!!! The staff is amazing!! Dr. Kinard and his staff saved my puppy!! My puppy's brother died of parvo and the next day we found out my puppy had it! Thanks to Kinard Animal Hospital he survived. They admitted him right away to the hospital and took amazing care of him. He was in the hospital for 5 days. I just have to say, we started taking our cat, Mattie there when she was a baby in 2008. We had her fixed there and all her shots. In May this past year, something got a hold of her and ripped the back of her left leg open. They fixed her right up! Then this past month, she started acting weird and turning left circles. Wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, wouldn't sleep. After a few tests and some meds, she continued to decline. We did a LOT of research on line and in conjunction with what the docotrs said, determined she most likely had a brain tumor. We had to have our precious Mattie put to sleep. The staff at this hospital are the most caring doctors and staff of any vet I have ever used. I am so sad that we lost our Mattie and you could just see that they all felt our pain. We got home yesterday and they had sent us a sympathy card. Everyone signed the card and 2 of the doctors had written a beautiful note inside the card.
