Murfreesboro Animal Clinic

Murfreesboro, Tennessee
General Info
Murfreesboro Animal Clinic is a veterinary practice located in Murfreesboro that strives to provide comprehensive pet care throughout the community. Located in Murfreesboro, United States, this clinic is reputable and professional, providing pet owners and their beloved animals with the support they need. The experienced team provides personalized wellness plans, regular check-ups, and a variety of treatments tailored to the specific needs of each pet. Services often include Physical Therapy, Radiology (X-rays), In-House Pharmacy, Acupuncture, Oncology, Cold Laser Therapy, and Senior Pet Care. These procedures meticulously address both preventive and symptomatic aspects of animal health. The center is well-equipped and organized to alleviate animals’ anxiety while they are there, which helps in precise diagnosis and successful treatment. Clients often praise the veterinary staff for being caring and communicative, which builds trust over time and ensures pets get continuous care. Murfreesboro Animal Clinic continues to be a staple in the lives of Murfreesboro pet owners as it grows and expands. From assisting young pets to establish a healthy lifestyle to helping seniors manage chronic diseases, the clinic’s staff is always ready to help. The continuous desire to learn and be abreast of the developments in the veterinary field is evident. This ensures that every pet gets the best care possible. It actively advocates for responsible pet ownership and community involvement, thus evolving into more than just an animal care facility. Murfreesboro Animal Clinic renders services to Murfreesboro families through a series of repetitive, minimalistic actions that create flow animals can understand throughout Tennessee. The appointment rooms are set up identically each day, meaning the furniture is in the same place, the lights are the same, and nothing is blocking entry. Staff members use a low-volume voice and limited range of motion, and pause between steps to help the pet adjust. Smell control is also emphasized – scents are neutralized between visits to prevent “layering.” Pet owners are invited to stand either close or far depending on what their pet is naturally inclined to do. Murfreesboro Animal Clinic provides infection control, diagnostics, joint health, nutrition, behavior analysis and recovery monitoring. Service delivery is fluid and continuous, not something that can be reduced to a checklist of actions. When the animal’s ears lower or turn away, staff should repeat basic steps such as stroking the air and offering a towel or sleeve to touch. Aftercare protocols involve living a lifestyle integrated with the rhythm. Parents are instructed to continue with structured morning routines after the procedure and ensure that home stimuli remain low while using soft background sounds to stabilize sleeping cycles. It is also recommended to make certain adjustments in the pets’ environment to help them transition back into their routine life without any confusion. Murfreesboro Animal Clinic provides access to surrounding Tennessee communities by a method that approximates natural animal regulation through gentle rhythms, predictable spaces, and low-noise decision-making.

I have brought my dogs here for 20 years. They are kind and compassionate towards every animal. They took great care of my Golden Retriever when she became old and needed lots of care. They eased her arthritic pain. They were sensitive and very caring when I had to put her down. They take great care of my black lab and trim his nails without hurting him. I highly recommend them for any ailment your pet has. They are excellent in caring for teeth as well. Not in the service for your pet... Folks just to let all know that if you want your pet looked at and treated you better have up front Cash.. we called all around this morning for our pet who is having liver problems. We spoke with the office staff and they informed us that we will have to pay the full amount for treatment. Like many of us in good standing paying are bills, coming up with hundreds of dollars up front just isn't possible. The only alternative we found is at Banfield at pet smart. They will let you pay half up front and get this... The remainder will be sent to the collection agency. They tell you up front. But, at least you can get your pet fixed!!! Going to collections??? It seems to me all Vet's in our area care more for the Money instead of the well being of our pets. Very upsetting news when a member of your family is ill. They should be ashamed of their morals. The desk staff are friendly and greet me by name. Their prices are very reasonable; compare them to other vets. Both the vets and the vet assistants have a caring bedside manner with me and my pets. Most importantly, my pets get excellent care. When I brought in my severely underweight cat for a second opinion (a different practice in Murfreesboro that I had been going to told me she was just old) Dr. Richey immediately had a theory, tested her, and correctly diagnosed her. My cat is now on medication and is gaining weight - I believe she is alive today because of Dr. Richey. They also treat my 2 dogs who have chronic medical issues. I recommend them very highly. We have had previous experiences with this clinic and truly appreciated their bedside manner and care for canines. However, the experience with felines is a totally different story. Their bedside manner is very rough, needing 4 and at times 5 assistants in the room to hold down a 2.5 pound kitten. I feel their diagnosis is incomplete and they did not fully examine our cat and they did not listen to my concerns for my animals health. I waited in the exam room for over 35 minutes before even seeing someone. My cat was treated and within a few hours her health deteriorated causing me to take her elsewhere, to get more proper care. Needless to say, shortly after a full examination and treatment at another clinic she was much improved. Additionally, the cost for treatment is very out of line for the care you receive. Read Less

So thankful tonight for Murfreesboro Animal Clinic, Dr. Barttaloto and Dr Jaman for taking such good care of all our furbabies, but especially for taking care of our 16.5 yr old Merlin. They removed two teeth and are adjusting his meds. Had they not run tests yesterday during his teeth surgery we could have missed the kidney issue until it was too late. Merlin has had some challenging medical issues over the last 14 years, but they have never given up on this difficult and grumpy patient, even after he bit a tech (he really loves you Joey). This clinic totally took advantage of my friend who took in a feral cat. They had to euthanize the cat and still charged almost $500. I understand you can't do business for free but come on when someone is trying to be a Good Samaritan and this is how you treat them? They will never get my business! My animals have had surgeries that didn't cost that!!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Read Less

We are not totally out of the woods, but I feel so much better knowing they are in his corner! Read Less
