I have been seeing Dr. Warren for over 20 years. My first visit was simply because it was the closest vet to my house, a quick 5 minutes away. All of my pets have been cats, all strays, rescues, and ferals. My daughter also worked there for around 10 years. The doctor's full name is Matha Warren, a woman. I have found her and her friendly, helpful staff to be professional, caring, and thorough in the care of my beloved cats and kittens. They are gentle and patient with even the wildest and most scared cats. Dr. Warren recently hired another doctor, whom I saw on my last visit for my cat's annual exam and shots. She is also very cheerful and thoughtful, and I was completely satisfied with her knowledge and experience also. I have heard that there are other vets in town who are a little less expensive, but have not considered them at all. My peace of mind is well worth the small savings I might realize elsewhere. Also, the short ride is less traumatic on my pets. They also send reminder post cards when the annual exams are due. My highest recommendation goes out to this office. Read Less

I'll never return either. My dog has not improved, I took her twice. Save heartache and money:. Go somewhere else! Find a vet who values you as primary care provider. She's not a listener, that's for sure. You could be supplementing your animal's diet with the gold standard grass fed whatever and she'll still push her products. $$$. She took my dog out of the room away from my sight, and tersely closes the door if you open it to be sure your animal is ok. Claiming it's for my own protection. Hah. Seriously? Don't let your animal out of your sight. Just don't go here. Update:. Not only did she not do a miserable job with my dog she did not recommend treatment for my cat who I mentioned to her after the appointment. Dr. Warren said "awwwww" when I mentioned his constant drool, that's it. In the length of time it took her to show fake interest/ compassion (awwwww), she could just as easily have made compassionate and honest recommendations. We recently moved to Murfreesboro and was looking for a vet. We decided to give Warren Animal Hospital a try and are so happy we did. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. Our dog Molly was diagnosed with cancer which came as a real shock. She died within two weeks, the staff were so supportive and helpful especially when grief made us unable to think straight. So I was in the market for a new vet. After browsing google for vets near my location, and checking on reviews, I'll admit after reading some of the reviews on here, I was a *little* worried, but am now glad that I gave this location a chance. I noticed some people commented before about a smell, but this location smelled just fine to me, and if anything smelled better than other vets I have been to in the past. Doctor Warren seems very professional and I was happy on feeling that someone with experience was treating my pet. She came into the room with treats for my cat, to gain his trust right off the bat, and got right down to work as quickly as possible. Which leads me also to believe she knows how some animals really do not like being at the vet, and the quick manner in which she works saves every second of your pet having to be there. She was very informative with the information she gave me, and I felt like I really was getting some professional care for my animal. Her staff, were also very kind to me, and was happy to sit with my cat while I checked out. The cost was also a lot lower than what I expected it to be, even with the more expensive injection I ended up going with! I was very happy with this visit, and to anyone reading this I say to not give much heed to any of the negative posts here, there is always going to be a few people that are unhappy in situations, and no one can really help that. I recently took my dog to Dr. Warren for acupuncture. Chico is in a wheelchair. We've been traveling to Franklin for his treatments, but I was hoping to find a DVM closer to avoid the drive. I've been a Veterinary Technician for six years and take pride in handling animals with compassion and treating their owners with same respect. Dr. Warren is a very knowledgeable veterinarian, but lacks bed side manner. I was not allowed to restrain my pet during the session or comfort ...him properly. He was shaking and uncomfortable during the entire process. Dr. Warren and her staff use very old school rough handling techniques for their patients. As I mentioned before, I am a Veterinary Technician. I understand that some patients require more restraint than others, but during a therapeutic treatment like acupuncture I do believe the patient needs to be comfortable. The hospital was filled with tension and was not a relaxing environment for the patients or owners. I will definitely be making the drive to an AAHA Fear Free certified hospital for the remainder of Chicos treatments that can't be preformed at my clinic. See More Read Less

Terrible, if I could give zero stars, I would. Our dog got into an unknown poison ( we think outside, because there was nothing in the house that she got into) & Dr. Warren practically accused us of being at fault. When our pup wasn't recovering after about a week, she and the staff were perfectly willing to recommend that we put our sweet little dog to sleep. They were doing very little to treat her and and just playing "wait and see". We thought it was hopeless and made a euthanasia appointment, but then I decided to give our baby another chance with a different vet. One examination and a few medicines got the sweetest dog in the world on the way to recovery & she is perfectly healthy today, no thanks to Dr. Warren. Update: as of today Dr. Warren has tracked me down through this review and sent an email to my personal email account over this situation. This would require figuring out who posted this based on our patient records and messaging me outside of Google reviews and office visits. Dr. Warren and her staff are wonderful! They are extra attentive and very thorough. Dr. Warren has provided my rabbits with excellent care - from neuter surgeries, to treating injuries, and performing wellness exams. I always recommend local rabbit owners to her facility, and will continue to go there for as long as I live in the area! The staff is great about answering my questions, checking in on my rabbits after they visit, and showing that they truly care about my pets and I. I got a new kitten for my wife from my sisters litter of kittens. Tiny kitty needed shots. We were quoted 140ish for all shots. Then the shots were drawn out over a 3 visit period and we were going to be charged over 300 dollars until we said stop and we will never be returning. Will be contacting BBB also. Read Less

I love this place! I've taken my bunny here several times and the staff is always friendly and Dr. Warren is very knowledgable. The prices are fair and the way they treat and handle animals is superior. I've seen several different breeds of cats and dogs come in during my visits and I have never heard a complaint. I drive 45 minutes to take my pets here because the service is unbeatable. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic! Read Less

DO NOT take your animal to this veterinary hospital if you have respect for yourself and your pet - PLEASE READ - I read other reviews prior to going here and should've heeded the advice of others. My dog needed vaccinations for rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella. Over the phone, I specifically said that I need those four shots prior to boarding my dog. They told me what the total would be for those shots and when I paid for the vaccinations on the day I visited this animal hospital, the total was the same as the one I was given over the phone, so there was no reason to look at the itemized list of vaccinations that I was given upon receipt of services. Fast forward one week later and I'm getting ready to fly out of town on my birthday with my family. As we take our dog to the kennel....surprise, he didn't have his distemper shot. The employees at the kennel said, "it's probably just a mistake because it's normal for the dog to have all four shots during their annual check-up." After the kennel called Warren Animal Hospital, it was determined that they did NOT give my dog the distemper shot. With time slipping away and a flight to catch, we had to rush to a different animal hospital (what a great start to my birthday). The nurse at this hospital said, "that's strange that they didn't give your dog the distemper shot, let me call them to make sure." Then the vet came into the room and was confused and shocked that Warren Animal Hospital didn't give him the distemper shot. The vet also called (this is the third call to Warren Animal Hospital from two separate professional businesses that couldn't believe that the vet would skip the distemper shot). In the end, I had to pay an additional $70 for an exam and 1 shot because of Warren Animal Hospital's mistake, not including the 2 hours and 15 minutes of running around town to get the shot prior to boarding our dog, then rushing to the airport. After three calls pertaining to my dog, Warren Animal Hospital never went out of their way to contact me, to say that they're sorry, and the actual vet at Warren Animal Hospital has terrible bedside manner. She has a very cold personality and instead of giving you advice in a more positive and productive manner, she tells you in a very "matter of fact way." On the only positive note, the receptionist and nurse at W.A.H. were very kind. I hope that they leave and get hired on at the new animal hospital that is opening on Memorial (near the Shell Station). Noah's Friends in Lascassas is a GREAT option, as well as Kinard's Animal Hospital. Even if Warren Animal Hospital is convenient to you, as it is with my home.....Steer Clear!! I will NEVER return to this hospital and will refer everyone that I come in contact with, who owns a pet, to never give business to this animal hospital. Read Less
