I took both my fur-babies here and they had been loyal patients/customers for over 8 years. Both my dogs were put down here as well. I will take any future pets here. The staff are all wonderful!!! I read some comments about the ladies being rude in the front and that couldn't be further from the truth. Maybe someone had a bad day, or maybe the customer is one of those people that you just cannot make happy. I recently had to have my furbaby put down due to lymphoma. The staff were all so sympathetic and sweet to me. The doc even gave me a hug afterwards. I love these people! I would challenge anyone that said anything negative about them.Read Less

I really love this clinic and feel like it is the best place to go for any kind of animal care, ,however I caution against seeing the only male doctor there, as he does not seem to know what he's doing at all and has a very poor bedside manner with pets. However, both of the lady vets who work here are amazing!! I always feel comfortable coming to see them, and they always make sure that not only do my pets receive top notch care, but also that I understand exactly what is going on at all times. We love Dr. Williams and his associate vets! He does not want me to share with you how long he has treated all our animals, that would divulge his age and mine. He has treated every pet we have ever owned and that is quite a few rescues, strays, etc.; dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, one snake and two cougars - don't ask why we had cougars or a snake. He even put pins and screws in one of our cougar's legs when the cougar landed on it wrong and broke it's hind leg is several places. Dr. Williams performed this surgery while on the phone with the UT Veterinary School getting instruction. His cost for this surgery was very reasonable considering all that was involved. This morning I decided to check on the prices of our dog's medications online at one of these "Save 50 - 70% on your dog's medications". What a joke! One of our dog's meds is out of stock and will not be in stock for probably 6 mo. to a year. And the cost was actually more had it been in stock. The other medication was a whole $2.00 cheaper, but by the time we paid shipping it was going to cost $7.00 more than at Dr. Williams. This revelation only helped reinforce my believe that William's Animal Hospital is the most affordable, honest, knowledgeable Veterinary Clinic around. We LOVE Dr. Williams and the rest of the staff is great also! I would trust Dr. Williams' opinion on any animal in my care - he is simply a good vet and a good man! Read Less

Had to have our old-man (boxer named Murphy) euthanized this weekend. It reminded me of the wonderful care Murphy received as a brand new puppy many years ago until he passed on Aug 7, 2015. Dr. Lavalley was so kind and considerate to him AND to our family. She helped us ALL get our minds in the right place at the end. Dr. Williams did the final procedure and spent easily an hour with us--much of it tending to our hearts. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Their prices are competitive, always lower than the newer vets (my dogs/ cats could care less about a brand new fancy building with a chandelier and I don't care to fund the unnecessary aesthetics)and their treatment (both medically and personally) are top of the line, grade A! Thank you to all of the docs (we've seen them all over my 20 years there, as well as my parents and in-laws) and to the amazing techs and front desk who's kindness and assistance has never gone unnoticed! Doc Williams has been out vet going on 30 years. Here in Christiana we love him and he has always been a compassionate vet calls and just checks up on the animals even if we don't ask him to. I have even known him do drive byes if when we don't ask. He is aces with the care of our animals and us as owners. We are moving soon and we are going to dearly miss him and the whole Williams hospital clan. We have used MANY vets in Murfreesboro over the years and Williams is hands down the best clinic. The outside may look old and they don't have the best looking office BUT care and knowledge of the staff is phenomenal. They don't over charge and are very reasonable with their prices. We've had a time with our dog over this past year and have been in the office over 10 times..we were very pleased with the service they provided every time. Defiantly a diamond in the rough! I have always been able to count on Dr. Covert and Dr. Williams to help me in any situation at any time. Late at night or holidays they have come to my aid when a goat or horse was in trouble. I took my dog to Williams Animal Hospital at the recommendation of Morgan at Keltons after I had several conversations with her about my dog's failing health. She kept vomiting foam which sometimes had blood and mucous bloody diarrhea and had weight loss. I was so upset as I knew she would eventually die from shock or dehydration. The previous vet just gave me anti nausea pills to try to stop vomiting and prescription dog food and basically just tried to "bandaid" the problem. After speaking with Morgan, I immediately went home and made an appointment at Williams. Dr Covert diagnosed my dog with acid reflux and probably an ulcer; she was put on Omeprizole and within 48 hours was a different dog. She was playing and eating and able to go for long walks. Williams Animal Hospital saved my dog from agony and I love that Dr Covert made several follow up calls to check on my dog and she calls me back whenever I have any questions. If your pet is a beloved member of your family like mine is - go to Williams! Read Less

They may be small but they have knowledge. Don't let the fact they might not look flashy as some of the higher priced Veterinary hospitals around town.,I had been going to one of the newer Veterinary hospitals for years with no issues but then I never really had a dog that had any real problems until recently. One of my dogs developed an eye condition and my old Vet kept throwing ointments at me humming they didn't know what the problem was. I spent a fortune just to watch one of my dogs go blind. I had enough of watching her suffer and changed to Williams. In 2 visits the dogs sight has improved and some of the old damage is healing. Why the my old Vet couldn't come to the same conclusion over a longer period I have no clue but it irks me they let my dog suffer.I recommend Williams to anyone (and my father is a retired Veterinarian in another state!) Front desk used to be just fair years ago, but is so much better now. Their vets are the best, any one of them. Been using for some time now because they are both affordable AND the best. Years ago, Dr. Sara Browning DVM saved one of my cats that had a normally fatal and rare condition.. No one could of guaranteed he could live. He was half dead and had the smell of death when I brought him in, and it would of been a rapid death if I had not brought him there.
