I have been taking both of my dogs to Dr. Tobe Singleton for several years now and have always been really pleased. Recently she encouraged me to have my 13 year old dogs teeth cleaned.  After much hesitation I finally decided to have it done. Following the cleaning and 15 extractions Karly is like a different dog. Previously she paced constantly, panted, and rarely finished her food. Now both the panting and pacing has stopped and she eats all of her food.  I could not be more pleased and wish I would have done it sooner!  Thank you Dr. Singleton for always having the best interests of my dogs in mind and always providing them with excellent care! The doctors and staff members at Southside Animal Hospital are so caring, so genuine, and so professional. When I bring Sadie in for any kind of treatment, whether it's just to get her nails trimmed, pick up more Heartworm medicine, or to figure out why she's having a problem, I'm always greeted warmly. The clinic staff all love animals and truly care about their well-being. That's obvious in the way they greet all the animals as they come through the door, in the way they gently speak to them and give them space when the animal is afraid, and in the way they carefully take care of all their needs during the visit. I'm always very confident in the education, training, and capability of all the vets on staff. They are extremely thorough when running tests. They make sure to explain everything in normal language to make sure I understand everything I need to do to make sure Sadie gets what she needs. Read Less

After leaving our vet from our hometown, I was terrified that we wouldn't find someone as good. Southside has gone above and beyond with caring for and loving all 4of our animals. We LOVE Dr. Grigsby! She knows all of our animals by name and loves on them as they were her own! The front desk staff is amazing also! These guys are great! They're always very friendly to our dog, George,  and make us feel welcome.Our first visit was to diagnose a possible ear infection. Unfortunately, that's what it was, but the vet was very helpful about advising me on how to clean and prevent future ear infections.Our next visit was to board George for 4 days when we went on vacation. After our last trip when we left our him at another location, he came back underweight and exhausted, and it took him several days to get back to his normal happy self. When we left him with Southside, he was healthy looking and happy from the moment we picked him up. They take dogs on 2 or 3 walks a day, which he loves, and are happy to follow any food/snack/toy guidelines that you would like them to.I have nothing but great things to say about Southside Animal Hospital.
