We love, love LOVE Berry Hill Animal Hospital! When we got a puppy a few years ago, we polled our dog-owning friends about vets they like, and we got an overwhelming response that BHAH was wonderful. Our friends even bring their three dogs all the way over here from East Nashville. I figured with that kind of response it was worth a shot. When we first brought Oscar in, they fell in love with him immediately (who wouldn't?) and they were very good about making sure he was comfortable and didn't get scared. Their technique must have worked because Oscar LOVES going to the vet - when we get out the car he pulls and pulls to get int he door! What I really love is that the doctors there might not remember me, but they know my dog by name, and you can tell that they really care about the animals. One day, young in our dog-ownership, I found a chewed up book of matches on the floor. I have no idea how many matches were in it before Oscar got to it, but I know that he left not single one. New dog mom panic moment: don't matches have carbon in them? Is that like carbon monoxide?? Is he going to die?!?! So I called up BHAH and let them know what happened, after they talked me off of my ledge they let me know to make sure he drank plenty of water, and that I didn't necessarily need to bring him in, but watch for X, Y, Z. Well thank goodness Oscar turned out to be fine, but the great thing is that I got an unprompted follow up phone call later that night, it was the vet calling from home, just checking up on Oscar to see how he was. We started going to BHAH because it was convenient to our house and we got great reviews from friends. We will continue going there with every dog we have from now until forever because they are WONDERFUL - I wouldn't trust my fur-baby to anyone else. Read Less
