Wow it’s a very hard decision to “fix” your dogs. We wanted to continue to breed them but unfortunate circumstances led to this being the right thing to do. I am very pleased with the entire experience at Caudle. I think they were very thorough and did a great job with my dogs. One of my dogs if female and the other male. We chose to do both dogs at once to help with recovery. It was a great choice. It’s been 10 days and they have healed up perfectly. They are both feeling great also. Walk in on a Saturday after calling almost every veterinarian open at the time. The staff was so kind when I called and told me it was no problem that I hadn’t been there before and to bring him in before they close. I got there and was seen so fast! Dr. Pandya asked a lot of questions and seemed to really care about what was going on with my dog. Luckily it wasn’t as serious as I thought it was and I’m glad I went to Caudle. My mom had my dog recently euthanized at this location. It sounded like from talking with the front desk lady that the recommendation for euthanasia wasn't really what was best for my dog. She stated she only had diarrhea. I think my mom was tired of taking care of her , and this vet provided her an easy out, which I think is highly unethical. While technically this is my moms decision and she's ultimately responsible, especially because she didn't talk to me before making this decision, I still think vets have a responsibility to make decisions that are best for the pet and owner. Also, while I appreciate that the vet held Teeny for me, after my mom decided to have her thrown away, presenting me to her dirty in a plastic trash bag is a horrific way to see a personal friend I've had for 17 years. I've taken my dog and my cats here for almost 10 years now and this father-son veterinarian team have always taken excellent care of my pets, whether the visit was a simple vaccination or a sick pet crisis. They are skilled and professional as well as kind and affordable. Just had my dog neutered at Caudle. Dr. Pandya was very thorough and explained the procedure to not just myself, but to my daughter and nephew as well. I've taken my oldest dog, Chloe, to Caudle since she was a pup.  She's a mischievous girl and actually allegedly bit someone once and I opted to board her at Caudle versus keeping her at the pound.  Dr. Pandya (the father) was very patient with me coming in DAILY to check on my dog.  While I was living out of state my mom passed away and I had to have Chloe transported to live with me in Texas.  The staff at Caudle worked with me and my cousin (who flew with Chloe to my new home) to make sure she was healthy and properly medicated (serious anxiety).  I eventually moved back to Tennessee, and we brought another beagle buddy, Rocket, into the family as a Christmas gift for my daughter and recently had the opportunity to work with the other Dr. Pandya (the son) when Rocket was neutered.  This was, again, a wonderful experience.  Rocket ripped out his stitches with his cone after a day or so and I had to take him back to the vet.  We were seen immediately upon our arrival and I was told that he'd need new stitches, but that I could come back in an hour to get my pup.  I was back exactly an hour later, and Rocket was ready.  Dr. Pandya was very thorough with instructions on how to keep the stitches intact this time and put a bigger cone on Rocket.  His incision healed perfectly.  There is no other place I would take my furbabies. We are so glad we took our dog to Dr. Pandya. Our dog had a small tumor on his wrist, and Dr. Pandya removed it that day and the price was very reasonable. 10 days later the stitches and his cone were removed and our dog licked open his incision. Fortunately, Dr. Pandya's office takes walk-ins starting at 8:30AM so we got him in the next morning. Our dog's incision was taken care of within a matter of minutes with no additional charge. That's incredible customer service! We're so impressed! This vet is practical, professional, and the space is very nice as well. We will definitely go to the Caudle Veterinary Clinic again. I'm from out of town and always travel with my dogs. Every visit to Nashville there seems to be some service needed from a vet, whether it be ear infections or wounds or some other malady, I have consistently used Caudle. They have very flexible drop in hours which work well for me. I've never had any problems and they seem to be very accommodating. I will continue to use them. Read Less

HIGHLY Recommend this vet clinic run by Dad and son!!!!!!! We have a 17 y/o mutt that I got from a shelter when she was 4. We have a vet closer to home that we like for routine care. However, we realized that the dog's teeth were looking bad after not having them cleaned the year prior due to concern over her age. We took her to Caudle and they advised checking labs and getting her teeth cleaned the same day we brought her in with no appointment! Everything went well, she handled the anesthesia fine and her teeth look awsome. She is started eating well immediately. The price was very reasonable, actually less than our typical vet. A few weeks later, she was on her evening walk and suddenly veered off to the side and laid down on the ground. We couldn't get her up and she was just not herself. We watched her overnight, no signs of pain but she could not walk and would not eat. We took her in the next morning (again w/ no appointment). They thought it might be constipation, arthritis and kept her for 4 days for pain medication, laxatives/enema, and supportive care. By the time we picked her up she was walking, smiling/wagging her tail. She is still not her normal self, but is happy and responding well to our famiy, eating, going on short walks again. At this point she is on a "hospice" pathway and we do not want to put her through too much. At Caudle vet like they really listed to our goals for the dog and did not push us to do too much to an old dog nor did they push us to put her to sleep. We are so greatful to have just a little more time with her thanks to their help! As a side note, we were expecting a much larger bill and were pleasantly surprised with the total cost of her stay. Even though it is a 20-30 min drive for us, we will only be going back to Caudle for our vet care!! Pros: Knowledgable (I am a physician so have some medical knowledge that doesn't necessarily translate to animal care, but makes me more concerned/skeptical), fast, affordable, compassionate Cons: none (wish they were closer to our house)Read Less

My two boys and I took our dog to see Dr. Pandya for a rabies booster and the fact that he had been excessively licking and nursing an injured toe nail for some time. After a brief exam he took it upon himself to administer vaccines that were never requested as well as a deworming medicine. He also gave our dog a cone to wear to promote healing. I wasn't sure that my dog would make it through the night as started to shut down. PEOPLE, wake up to the dangers of these horrible vaccines! He is just starting to feel better and when I went to sit next to him I noticed his nail was bent all the way back. Unbelievable. Now it's back to Green Hills to have his nail fixed or removed. I tried to save money going to Gallatin Road but I would never go back to Caudle Vet Clinic again. Read Less

Our vet recommended us to see Dr. Pandya because our vet does not perform surgery. My 10 year old lab mix had developed an abscess in his anal gland which required surgery to have it fixed.Dr. Pandya and his staff were great. We took our dog in the first visit for a consultation. Dr. Pandya explained to us about the surgery and the estimated price. It was about $800. We told Dr. Pandya while he put our dog under anesthesia, if he could also remove a benign tumor in his front leg. He said he could do it because the tumor would only take him a short time to remove. He said he wouldn't even charge us for that portion of the surgery because it was such a minor procedure.So on the day of his surgery, we dropped our dog off. His front desk staff was professional and nice. When we went and picked up the dog that evening, Dr. Pandya already left for the day but the staff said the surgery went well, she gave us all the instructions and medications for the dog. She said we could call the vet the next day.We called Dr. Pandya the following day, he was very detailed and explained exactly what he did. He said because the abscess was only in one of his anal glands. He decided to leave the good gland there. He was so honest and said because he only removed one side and the quote he gave us was for both anal glands removal, we would get a refund when we brought our dog back for follow up.So a few weeks later, we took our dog back and got a $150 refund. Our dog's wound healed well and he is no longer having problem.I can't say enough about Dr. Pandya's professionalism and his honesty. If he never said that to us to get a refund because one anal gland is intact, we would never know or expect.Nowadays it's so hard to find an honest and reliable vet anymore. Highly recommend you find another vet. Brought our cat who was in the process of dying( they knew this ,he was 15 plus years old ) they ran a blood test, he died minutes later. They charged us $180.00 for a test which our new Vet charges less than half, plus an office visit for a total of around $230.00 for about 5 minutes in the room. No mention of cost until we got bill in the mail. The BEST part, we had been going to Caudle Vet. for well over ten years, and were loyal customers. This review in no way reflects on the staff, there good people. Too bad there is not a negative rating, one star is not low enough. We have no confidence in the business practices, or the care our pets were getting.Find another Vet if you value your pets and bank account. Our own rating -10. Read Less
